This was normal – at least, for Masami. Every day in Hosenka City feels like any day, living in Joya his whole life, and finally living in a Joyan-inspired place outside Joya itself. He was well-aware that Hosenka is different my means of solely pleasing foreigners and visitors, which was why parades and festivals often occur exactly where he was at – it would've been considered rude to gather people in unofficial festivals by date, and Masami's Joyan descent is also quite displeased with this—he had a candy apple on one hand, something he has been munching on for a while now. It's just an apple coated with glossy caramelized sugar, but it has still been a famous treat until now.
It was getting noisier at the stall Masami is at, let's move to another place.
The townsmen were getting used to Masami's presence, having a reputation shared all around Fiore. He has already been known in Joya, so being famous (or known, at least) isn't such a problem; he can handle having a preserve image. Being so familiar with the feeling of being watched (imperturbably) had allowed him to freely walk in the busy street of Starlight Parade without bothering or being afraid. He had quite the formal Joyan attire for whatever event today has, too, not that he hadn't always been in one.
Let's see... a fishing contest, looks pretty aspiring and thematic for a Joyan activity, good job. Masami's theater was getting busy as well, but he isn't the one to manage that one for today. There's also costume contest, for children, a magic trick show...? All of these seem to interest Masami, enlightening his childish self, but he didn't want to get into those clumpy small stalls either. Supposedly at the center of Starlight Parade is some sort of contest, bigger and more eventful. Masami stood not so far away from that event, spotting foreigners change into Joyan clothing—one of the people he spot was a man enjoying his clothing while taking photos with his friends, and his yukata wasn't even worn properly... hopefully, the overly-traditional Joyan men wouldn't mind—oh, an old Joyan man just hit that Fiorian with a rolled newspaper. Whatever he's saying, muffled as it is, caused the Fiorian to walk away and forced to change. Masami laughed at the scenario.
Now that Masami was closer and getting into the scene, people couldn't help but get anxious. He owned the theater here in Hosenka, and he's known in Joya for his performances, of course they would get somehow intimidated. "Sir, would you be joining the event?" asked a woman who had tugged Masami's sleeve, she was genuine enough not to show her slightly anxious thoughts. Masami replied with a small wave of a hand, replying: "No, ma'am. I will be watching instead."
Masami was led at the front row for him to sit on, not that it was a VIP seat, everyone seemed to sit anywhere they'd like. In a few minutes, the contest would start, and Masami would proudly greet whoever catches his eye. His teeth dug on the candied apple, munching on the fruit itself this time. 'Dancing, huh...' he thought, the same guide woman drawing closer to him with a whisper. She spoke in a calm tone, but also showing some sort of unease about what was about to happen next. Masami was told the appearance of a young girl, light-colored hair, a foreigner. Although Masami wasn't able to exactly envision what the girl looked like, whoever that was, somehow Masami had started to look forward on meeting that person.
