To Noel, it meant that he could cultivate a relation between this company an a potential investor and profit just by putting the connection together. It sounded too easy. He wasn't exactly searching for a challenge, but that kind of adventure was more expansive in the administrative side; something he cared little for. As a matter of fact, he much desired to rather his hands to brawl and conquer - gain riches through that way. But experience has dictated that doing this was more likely going to give him a bounty - jail wasn't a place he was too keen on returning. So maybe the mundane and otherwise rather boring tip given by the bartender was the way to go? It'd lead to a more peaceful life, a more relaxed atmosphere at night, knowing he was safe from bandits and highway men looking to make a dime on his name. Those worries certainly had started to fade as of late; although the 'dark' side of Fiore was one he alienated from himself a long time ago. He couldn't recall the last interaction with the evil and wicked he's had. It had been some time.

He knew little of the streets of this silver town; navigating through landmarks and asking civilians if they could help him was the way to go. He'd sit on his cherished Mustang, who he led the way of through his legs and hands. His horse and he have grown quite a bond, their attachment to each other was established. Especially whenever Jet, his companion, gets blasted to pieces while Mustang doesn't lose a hair - that's when their bond grows stronger. Noel would arguably take a hit for his horse if he could be sure that it wouldn't cost him the battle. You don't touch a mans horse like that. It went against his own bushido code; exceptions applied of course - such as when the other person uses their car as a weapon.

One key person at the center of this movement stood out to Noel. He'd overhear a conversation starting to the left of him, someone identified him as the mayor of the town. Noel arched his brow a little and started to cut into the crowd (not with a knife, but just forcing his own body into the crowd through non-violent means) to try and attempt to talk to the mayor. He would like to pick his brain about a topic. After swathing through the large mass he finally got to the mayor, and asked if he and the mayor could talk. The secretary of the mayor declined, but could set up an appointment so a spokesman and Noel could talk instead. Noel agreed to this idea, and said he'd drop by the government building later that day.

After being seated, Noel enjoyed their complimentary sandwiches and tea up to his hearts content - until the tray had been emptied, and the so called ambassador of Myras had joined the meeting. Business as usual for Noel. While the ambassador took a seat, Noel begun to pitch an expansive idea. A fund for innovation. So that companies who actually innovated, and engineer solutions would be more profitable than solely relying on trade - which was the main income of this town. The ambassador was quite amused by the idea, as Noel was correct on his assumption of the main income of Myras. Their export of silver was off the charts. Noel portrayed a world where that silver could be changed artistically and therefor they would receive an income based on actual production of goods. All that was required was a subsidy from the local government. The ambassador entertained the idea, and allowed Noel to compose a budget and a guideline to establish this. Noel used some of the budget to hire a few city counsel servants to do the administrative work and make procedures to apply for the innovation subsidy.

Noel hand picked from the group of merchants a most suitable candidate, and made that group bring out a representative who formed a quasi union with the other groups to be able to convincingly set up shop and manufacture new items. One of the groups had a large working space, their empty warehouse. It was cleaned out and supply lines were setup. A new supply chain manager was hired as well as a few local artists to create the first batch of concepts. With a batch of concepts, Noel once again headed into the same rich district to find the same aristocrats who he told they could be involved.

Noel explained that this wasn't going to be a one time deal, they wanted to make a lot of these. Once the idea was pitched, and the concept was sold - the aristocrat began to spread the word in his community. Of which thriving members started being interested as well. After the first few batches of cutlery were made, the items started to circulate within the community of the elite in Myras. Dinner party with the boss, the wife can happily show off the new cutlery; the boss becomes interested and wants one too. The customer in this case is satisfied. The only downside was the durability, which Noel painted as an advantage. Customers could subscribe to a service in which they can make use of a newly designed set for a month. This subscription was quite expensive, as the models described were being concepted and very exclusive. This reputation was bound to increase, the manufactory became esteemed within the rich community, eventually introducing a middle class set which came to be less qualitative was inevitable.

The old mage explained to the representative of Lipner Co that this was a good thing; as soon as they developed customers that relied on bulk import, they could eventually raise their prices. Maybe even cut them out as middlemen and start picking up customer relation agents. Go wide as an organization and thrive unilaterally. Of course this business plan relied on multiple parties delivering on their promises. Noel was gifted a large bag of money for his assistance in the manner, as it brought many split up communities together to thrive as a collective instead of suffering as isolationists. All it took was some bonding within the community to prioritize on what was needed versus the short term gain. Noel took his reward with honor and left the manufactory to move back to the hotel.

He couldn't tell. Sitting atop Mustang, the male swiftly rode out of the crowds from the center of Myras. It was quite a lovely town. With the contacts he managed to acquire today, he was convinced he could continue expanding the business through another day. There were still improvements to be made, he reckoned. The long term strategy was going to pay off - and as soon as they got a larger capital, he could inspire them with new strategies to continue developing and thriving as a company. It was fine for now, the workers had homes and steady jobs that weren't going to change massively in the upcoming few months. Noel washed his hands at the hotel sink, and loaded the new riches he acquired into his room. It was quite heavy. Noel added a page in his diary about today, and headed down to the bar to party with some of his guild members.
