Sitting on a crate full of stolen goods, Ziann's eyes glanced back and forth between all of the low ranked mobsters in the warehouse. Who could he snitch on today? Would he find someone that was disloyal to Akabo and get them arrested by the government official in order to boost his standing with the Enforcer? Or would he find some sort of secret gang war that was about to go down that he could influence in Akabo's favor? Whatever he found, he was sure that he could do some good for the Enforcer and boost Akabo's standing in his boss' eyes. He was soon approached by a man in a similar suit to his own, holding a similar cigar in his mouth. "Who you?"
Ziann looked him straight in the eye and moved his unlit cigar to the other side of his mouth. "Javier, you?" The mobster just smiled as well as he could with a cigar in his mouth. "Eduardo. Come, join us, Roberto." Straightening his suit jacket as he stood up, Ziann followed this Eduardo over to a group of men throwing dice on the ground repeatedly. "This here's our newest game for the gambling halls. We calls it "Shootin' Cakes." The "spy" just chuckled. "Why ya' call it sometin like that?" Keeping up his awful accent, he watched as the game played out. The head roller would roll the trio of dice and would call out the highest and lowest number. The middle number would be the "Cake" and if your bet matched the Cake, you lost everything.
The trick came when the dice landed on doubles or even the rare triple. In that case, only the people who bet on that number would win anything. It sounded complicated, but was definitely a game that the house would win a lot of and had the potential to be addicting if you kept avoiding the Cake. Ziann played with them for a few rounds, breaking even and calling it quits after that. "Imma bow out." Holding up his hands in defeat, he made his way out of the warehouse. He hadn't discovered anything really important yet, but he was just beginning. He made his report to Akabo about the new Shooting Cake game, giving it a positive report on income generation and asked if he could report anything fake to the government official.
"For sure. Tell him that you heard Crime Lord Pablov just got in a big shipment of guns. I need him knocked down a peg." With a salute and an affirmative nod, Ziann headed out towards the rendezvous point for the "spying". Lie delivered, he headed back to the Inn to prepare for the next day.
