Starting off in the Garden of Rest, Masami slowly walked towards the game booth. The ground was muddy and he was afraid that his white garment might get dirty, thus walking slowly – he even hesitated trying the booth out because he was human, what if he gets eaten alive just like the rumors say? The skeleton that guarded the game booth called the boy and, apparently, dragged him to sit on the stool; it was better than turning into sushi, at least. In front of a stool was a large... table? A cabinet? It had holes in them; Masami wasn't fond of circus games so he didn't know what was going to happen.
"Err..." he was given a small club, too; it felt like he was being held at gunpoint if he did not play. The club was of weight and Masami wasn't sure if he was able to do it. Anyway, one zombie had popped up and to Masami's surprised, he shrieked and hit it back down using the club. Seeing the sight, the skeleton clapped; they weren't even talking at all. "Alrighty..." guess Masami just has to do the same thing again and again? The booth's lights had turned on, revealing a timer and a point counter. Three, two, one... time to whack some zombie heads!

The fourth was a box, Odin had gotten that almost instantly, but he had to guess what exactly was inside the box. He frantically shook it, trying to get an idea for the weight of whatever was lurking within. After a few minutes of shaking it with a large degree of force, he simply guessed a small knife. Turns out he was very wrong, as he took off the blindfold to reveal a, now dead, hamster. Woops.
Anyway, the next game was one Odin had played before. He knew how the skeleton attack game was played, but he couldn't remember if he had been any good at it. Probably not, but that would change today. He was faster now, and could catch the zombie heads as they popped up. He just needed to be fast enough.

After a few seconds of staring, it abruptly realized that it was supposed to be sitting down for this attraction. It plunked down gracelessly, crossing its ankles politely while it waited for the skeleton to return. The machine had not been reset since the last participant at this particular game- but that wasn't an issue. It liked to think it was patient enough, anyway. After a few moments, the insect tilted its head downwards, letting the surprisingly light weight of its horns fall forward. It hoped it wasn't disrupting anyone's time- more often than not, its poor luck seemed to manifest in a multitude of last minute adjustments needed in the machines. About ninety seconds passed before the skeleton manning the stall approached it, handing it a small wooden club. It clenched the weapon experimentally, running the odd wood over its carapace. The bug tended to have a diminished sense of touch, but Besouro liked to imagine that it'd feel smooth and grainy beneath its fingers.
A countdown was given to the start of the game, backwards from ten. The temporary weapon was clenched firmer, as if its grip was directly proportional to the score it would get.
Here went nothing.

Eyeing another game booth, where Vice might leave his caca on the stool, he sits down. Whack-A-Mole is a mean and bad game, as Vice understands the explanation. Teaching bestial sadism to gamers at such a young age, as Vice. Why does he have to hit the cute zombie heads? Zombie's such a nice race compared to looking boney like every other Lich. It's weird how it's been so long without the pretty zombies in the world. Wanting to close his eyes, Vice doesn't want to know whether he's hitting living zombie heads. Where are these zombies sourced from? The poor zombies. A professional whacker, Vice is at least speedy enough to play games like these. An orange version of Barney the Dinosaur is now hitting with an ogre's club. Vice is a little subdued with hitting these heads, since they look like human heads, but maybe that's why he could fail again. Some processes aren't taken into emotional considerations like Vice's.

Armed with cotton candy, kettle corn, warm cider and a really nice scarf (no really, it had to be the nicest scarf she'd seen in a long while), Requiem made her way through the crowds. Children ran along, trick or treating while adults killed about either watching or shopping. She watched some crows swoop past, snatching up unattended food and forgotten coins. The more enterprising murders perched near trash bins. One particularly clever crow hopped inside a bin and started tossing things out of it to his friends.
Little bastards.
Requiem saw a cute little stand being run by a skeleton with a stool in front of it, "Come, come come and have some fun for fun! What'll you win? Who knows? I sure don't!"
Requiem giggled like an idiot and took the seat, "now young miss, just take this hammer and go ham and cheese on the Whack-A-Whats! Good luck!"
She sat poised, slightly taught and waited for the game to start. The zombie heads popped up quickly, and Requiem struck as fast as she could.

Steel wearing his tuxedo and scary outfit, after having removed the carved jack o lantern pumpkin from his head, was looking more like a medieval executioner. The burlap mask that Steel had made was covered in extreme amounts of puke but Steel soldiered on. That last game had taken a lot of Strength out of him but moving out of the area of Samhain's tower Steel had to move on. He had to work for those pumpkin pops. Harder than anyone else he had to work so hard that steel wasn't as hard as Steel was working.
Steel entered the graveyard of broken dreams. Or actually maybe this was the graveyard of parties. Steel thought this to himself as a rave party seemed to be going on in the middle of the graveyard. The ghosts were dancing all around. It was friggin crazy. Steel however was not one to get drunk or otherwise intoxicated.
Steel once again found a game booth. And god damn it he wanted to win this time but only chance or luck could determine that. He walked up to the game booth and the skeleton in the booth explained that Steel had to hit as many zombies as he could. This was some nefarious game where you had to crush multiple zombie heads as they jumped out of holes. To a normal person this might be scary but Steel was getting angry with these games.
And so he took his position and the game started WHACK! WHACK! WHACK!

She approached calmly as the Skeleton checked her out. "Hey there, momma. Wanna give it a try?" He moved his eyeholes as if he was raising his eyebrows flirtatiously. She rolled her eyes but gave a smirk. At least she was not too old in this body to get flirted with. "Alright, let me try." She wondered if she could win anything. At least four more pops would be good enough for her. She had only a few more games left. Will she win enough to get what she wants or will she truly fail at everything else as well as this game?

Gunter, not giving a fuck, slams away at the machine and destroying zombie heads. The skeleton says "My golly gee you sure did good there!" Gunter then starts slamming the skeleton with his hammer, wailing on it until it explodes into pieces. He then kicks the skeleton's skull out the tent while saying "Fore!". Sick of their shit, sick of the world. As he walks out of the tent, the skeleton respawns behind him with a laugh. "Well gee whilickers, you'll need to do better than that!". At that, Gunter sighs and either collects his reward or doesn't depending on how the game went. Either way, he got out a a bit of aggression. From now on he'll probably shit stomp these skeletons a lot more just because he can.

Stepping up to the next machine, where zombie heads would pop up and require slamming with a mallet, the wood elf took a deep breath. He was fast, he knew how to track animals and keep up with them if he had to. Perhaps that would come in handy here.

At some point she had even lost a track of time as the skeletons urged her to take a break and take some deep breathes, fortunately some advice she followed and after the game had ended Esperia approached the nearby skeletons to inquire about the games, but more importantly about what type of place Samhain was. While they were more than eager to tell her about all the games they had planned, they remained oddly mysterious about the nature, or purpose of this town, leaving Esperia with more questions than answers, although she did enjoy a game of whack a zombie, or ten...
