Mikajia had decided to take a little trip back to Oak. He had heard that his old client Stephen Mabuz had been looking for someone to help him with a very special experiment. He had helped the man a few times in the past and it had always paid off for him. He figured this time would be no different. Thankfully Oak was fairly close to Baska, so it took him almost no time at all to make the simple trip back. Once he was in Oak, he took the familiar route back to the doctor’s shop and greeted him.

The doctor did seem happy to see Mikajia once more, but he could also tell that the man was visibly stressed about something. However, he knew better than to pry, instead telling him that he’d heard the doctor was looking for someone to help him with another experiment. He told Mikajia that he had discovered a rather powerful and dangerous drug while doing some experimenting recently. He had been attempting to test it out like he had with so many other experiments, however, he had realized that this particular drug apparently required a willing subject for it to work out.

After giving a brief explanation to Mikajia, he could see why few would agree to be a willing test subject. However, he had worked for the man many times previously, and the doctor had always come through for him. Yes, he had been put in danger a few times, but the man never failed to make good on his payment. So Mikajia decided to take the risk and offered to be the test subject for the doctor. The doctor appeared visibly relieved before leading Mikajia to his secret back room. Once there, he would strap Mikajia in to a chair before injecting him with a syringe full of a cloudy white substance.

At first, he was beginning to think the drug wasn’t actually working, and that’s when things changed. The world around him began to alter, the room shifting; the walls appearing to change from brick and mortar to some type of rusted metal. He was very intrigued, but still not all that worried. That is, until he turned to look for the doctor, but was met with a horrifying and grotesque creature in his place. He jumped a bit, but couldn’t move thanks to the straps.

However, the real worry started when he tried to use his magic, but found that he couldn’t. He knew he would be fucked if that thing tried to attack him without having use of his magic. He wouldn’t stand a chance. “Stay back!” He yelled as he struggled as hard as he could against the straps. And that’s when everything would go black. Mikajia would wake up some time later, finding himself lying on the floor with drool dripping from his mouth. The doctor was staring down at him, then with emotionless eyes tell him to get up. After that he would hand Mikajia the payment for helping him then send him on his way.
