The cushion was soft under Milisandia's legs as he kneeled there, across a table from his client. A cup of tea warmed his hands and he had wrapped his tail around his own ankle to keep it out of the way, the fur slightly tickling his skin but he knew by now how to ignore it. He sipped the tea as he considered what Madam Suzumi was telling him and, deeper than that, as he reached out for what she was feeling.
Tight lips, narrowed eyes, hands were clenched. Anger, frustration, outrage. All of them could be seen bubbling under the surface if one knew what to look out for. Mili had been practicing it for years and he could feel those emotions touch him, twist him inside. His own face curled into a sneer as Suzumi continued to talk, detailing what this scamming fool had done. How dare he? Perhaps not the most reputable but undercutting a business like that, taking away the livelihoods of not just Madam Suzumi but also the people working under her? It simply wasn't right.
He put his tea down and took a deep breath through his nose, letting himself grow calm once more. "Don't you worry, Madam, I'll make sure the message gets across, loud and clear." Mili said with a smile, reaching forward to take the image drawn of the man and the information they had on him.
With a bow towards Suzumi, Mili rose to his feet, uncoiling his tail and left the building, pulling his boots on at the bottom of the stairs before hopping outside. The wind dusted over him and he turned out towards the city, lifting the image to check it once more before nodding, it was hunting time.
It took about an hour and a half to eventually find the sucker. He was out in a small market street, Mili had stopped nearby to catch his breath and it was as he was standing up, stretching slightly, singing a wordless tune that he spotted him. Long, dark brown hair, brown eyes, freckles on his left cheek, quite tall. Everything matched. It was time to close this off then.
