The wait that hung in the air for the other combatant to come out was non existent. Both entered the area at almost exactly the same time with the same look of steely determination. The entrance was so well timed with each other than the announcer did not know who to introduce first. But at that point there was no need. The crowd was already riled up and rearing to see these two fine specimens duke it out!
Before the match began the wood elf threw what Raymus could only assume was smack talk. Calling his face sexy and to go all out. "W-Wh-Huh? What the hell man? You can't just say stuff like that right before a match." He replied, stumbling on his words feeling his face flush slightly. Thankfully with the roars from the crowd it was likely no one other than the umpire heard the compliment. Shaking his head lightly from side to side, Raymus threw the words from his head and stood ready to fight, his blood red eyes staring daggers at the admittedly cute Raza. "Same goes for you too, uh, big boy." Trying to instill the same tactic as Raza, Raymus tried his own flirtatious comment hoping it would catch the wood elf off guard like his comment had done to the werewolf. The time for talking was over though as the umpire signaled the start of the fight, a loud ringing noise blasted through the area accompanied by the roar of the announcer over the speaker.
To start the werwolf would begin his run, moving off with speed to the left. There was about 40 meters between the two leaving a few meters behind both of them for some breathing room. Raymus was hoping to move around to try and get Raza in the center of the circular ring. He couldn't be sure how quick his opponent was so Raymus made sure to run what would be considered a rank lower than his quickest in his base form. While he couldn't reach the run speed instantaneously once he did he would be running at 20 meters per second, as quick as any basic spell. He wasn't one to toot his own horn but he was happy with this speed, provided he wouldn't have to out run a spell anyway. While he began his run, Raymus's eyes would remain fixed on Raza's entire body. There was a good chance he wasn't going to sit idly by and the werewolf wanted to make sure he could see the entirety of his opponent's well built body for when they attempted their own move. After all, Raymus's own tactic was very basic and easy to intercept but as to the how would be up in the air and something he needed to be cautious of. His lessened max speed would help with this. If Raza did reamin where he was then Raymus would do his best to run rings around him, getting closer all the while hoping for a chance to strike.
