Effect: Jove taps his foot upon the ground, via either the motion of one tapping their feet or through a stomp. This create a magic circle below his feet that is pitch black, about eight meters in diameter. Once done, a plasma like fire erupts from his core. This plasma extends in all directions, offering a moderate heat that can be described as uncomfortable at best. The plasma is of a transparent burnt orange color. The heat seeps into the body of anyone within range. The individuals within an four meter range of Jove suffer A rank debuff to their strength while the spell is sustained. The AoE itself does not move after used, but the debuff stays in effect on the users so long as they are within effective range of Jove. This includes Jove. Individuals who are under the effect of this spell who exceed 20 meters from Jove are no longer under the effect, and would have to re-enter the 4m range of the spell in order to fall under its effects once more.

Effect: Jove clenches his hand, which ignites a red flame around his hand, and creates a two meter magic circle above the back of his fist which is black. He then opens his fist, his hand now glowing with this red fire. Upon his next impact with an opponent, the red fire spikes forward.

Effect: Jove opens his mouth wide, revealing a small red orb at the center of his open mouth. This is also highlighted by the black magic circle which appears directly in front of his mouth, which is clearly visible yet transparent enough to still see through and into his mouth. The magic circle is around three centimeters in front of his mouth, and 2 meters in diameter. Instantly, the orb rockets out away from Jove's mouth, traveling in its condensed form at the enemy. The orb forms outside of Jove's face, ensuring no damage happens to him, utilizing the magic circle as its starting point.

Type: Debuff

Range: 15 Meters
Cooldown: 3 Posts
Duration: Sustain
Effect: Jove activates this spell with a kick, a black magic circle forming behind his leg when he does so. This magic circle has a diameter of one meter. The spell travels outwards from Jove in an arc which is half a meter in diameter, and half a meter long. The spell, on impact, debuffs the users constitution. If it lands, Jove can sustain the spell so long as the enemy remains within range of him. Hells Toil originates from Jove's foot and travels out to its maximum possible range, or until it collides with an individual.

Salutations,

We are going to take this one spell at a time.

1. You need to remove the WIP in the title.

2. Are you buying these are training them?

3. The range describes where the origin of the aoe would spawn, not the size of the aoe. So this will need to be self.

4. Spells need to be written as if you had no modifiers. For example. your aoe would be 8 meters instead of 16. When you use it in battle, it would still be 16 meters.

5. You need to include the information about your magic circles.

6. You will need the aoe description in the description.

7. You can't avoid the effects of your own spells unless you have certain enhancements. Even then, see comment number 4.

  • The magic circle or magic seal for an A-Rank spell should be 2 meters in size.
  • Adjust the Type to “AoE Debuff” rather than “Debuff”
  • “Individuals within 8 meters of the caster suffer A rank debuff to their strength while the spell is sustained.”
  • As Tempris mentioned, you would require an Enhancement like Self-Immunity if you wish to be unaffected by a debuff focused on yourself like this.

Effect: Jove clenches his hand, which ignites a red flame around his hand, and creates a small hand-sized magic circle above the back of his fist which is black. He then opens his fist, his hand now glowing with this red fire. Jove can bring this hand into contact with an oncoming attack. This reflects the attack back on the user, whether that attack be physical or magical. This can only effect spells of equal or lower rank. If performed on a ranged attack, it can travel back at the enemy at full speed, up to its original max range.

  • As mentioned above, the magic circle for spells has a fixed size according to the rank of the spell. This size is fixed to the maximum size of the spell dimensions.
  • For your takeover Magic, only the unique spell attached to the magic can have the reflective properties. You could adjust this one to be an offensive spell, or submit a different one. Let me know what you intend to do.

This beam causes piercing damage on impact due to its ridiculously high temperatures. The beam forms outside of Jove's face, ensuring no damage happens to him, utilizing the magic circle as its starting point.

  • Keep in mind the point above about magic circles.
  • Spell regulations limit the dimensions of spells in both width and length. To make a proper beam would require an AoE spell.
  • As for the piercing damage, could you elaborate? Armor piercing would require an enhancement to actually be a factor. As for hitting multiple targets, that’s only possible with an AoE as a standard offensive spell only deals damage for a single instance.

  • The magic circle size has been explained above, in this case a B-Rank’s spell circle/seal is 1 meter in size.
  • The maximum dimensions for a spell were also mentioned above, the maximum of all dimensions for spells is 1 meter.

  • I apologize, I made a couple of mistakes last time. For AoE spells the magic circle is equivalent to the spell dimensions of the spell. In this case it would be 8 meters.
  • As for the range from the caster, it would have a 4 meter radius with the caster as the center rather than 8 meters. Sorry about the confusion.
  • As this is an A-Rank spell, if someone escaped outside of the 20 meter range for spells of this rank then it would lose effect. I’m only mentioning this in order to prevent possible confusion later on.

  • This spell reads as though you intend for it to remain until you have a successful hit, so the duration would be “sustain” rather than instant.
  • “This is meant to pierce through the opponent and cause internal burns.” Even if this is intended as flavor, I have to ask that it be removed.
