Another day, another covert operation Shichiro had to perform. He didn't mind doing them at all but admittedly, this wasn't exactly his forte, considering his equipment of choice. He had the speed for it, sure but his stealth was a bit lacking when lugging around his giant tower shield. It was quite heavy and admittedly made it harder for him to move around. Regardless, a job was a job and he would continue to show his support for Reiner even when he was knocked out of the race. Accompanied by his companion Panther Lily, he went to the field site that was known to be temporary headquarters to get the mission briefing for his next job.

Upon his arrival, an officer had greeted him, beckoned him to take a seat and began to explain to him what the mission was. According to him, his mission was similar to the last one but instead of burning stables down with the animals inside, he had to let these animals run free instead. They were freshly caught exotic beasts that would soon undergo some training in order to be useful for whatever plot they might be scheming. Giving Shichiro a map of the area he was to perform his mission, he explained the finishing details before letting him go.

Giving a nod, Shichiro got up and decided to go out and carry out the mission. As he did so, the officer had told him, this wasn't exactly a stealth mission but it would be in their best interest to try and hide which party would be sabotaging Hildegard. He nodded and let out a sigh of relief that he could just go  on and play it by ear as long as they didn't find out his identity and who he supported. he wasn't sure if his fame from Fiore was prevalent in Stella and Bosco but to be on the safe side, he'd wear a mask anyway.

Even if he wasn't prominent in this country, there were still a lot of fiorian supporters around, each supporting their own individual heirs to the throne. Honestly, now that he thought about it, he was quite surprised this country had allowed another to invade their fight for the throne so openly.  It almost feels as if Fiore was the one really pulling the strings. Regardless, he was here just to get paid. Nothing more, nothing less.  He'd leave all the deep thinking to the people he'd consider the higher ups and treat this as justy another job with more money.

He'd rather not have thoughts like this cloud his mind right after accepting a mission so he'll just worry about how the mission effort will go in the long run. Looking at his map with his companion, Shichiro had begun to walk into the direction of the enemy camp. It was pretty far from here so it would at least take a day's journey or so on foot. He'd borrow a horse and ride as close to the place of interest as possible before getting off of the horse and sending it back to the stable he had gotten it from.

Apparently they were all trained to do that at some point or the other when borrowed from anybody other than its current handler. For now, Shichiro would scope out the area from afar while he'd send Panther Lily to scout around the area and if possible, in it. After a few moments, Panther Lily had returned saying it was easier for him to just release the animals and cause a ruckus, so he did. Patting Panther Lily on the head, he'd hand him a kiwi fruit he had picked on the way here which essentially sent Panther Lily over the moon. He never understood his infatuation with Kiwi fruits but as long as he was happy with them, it was easy to reward him. With that, he began their journey back to the camp.

[Exit.]
