Lore: Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi is a legendary Joyan sword. It was originally called Ame-no-Murakumo-no-Tsurugi ("Heavenly Sword of Gathering Clouds"), but its name was later changed to the more popular Kusanagi ("Grass-Cutting Sword"). It represents the virtue of valor. It is part of the Three Sacred Treasures of Joya, which consist of the sword Kusanagi (草薙劍), the mirror Yata no Kagami (八咫鏡), and the jewel Yasakani no Magatama (八尺瓊勾玉). The treasures represent valor (the sword), wisdom (the mirror), and benevolence (the jewel).
