Details


Description: The Moonsilver Grand Klaive is a black and frosty blue blade. It's curved somewhat like a scimitar and has a spike at the end of it's blade facing inward towards the curve of the blade. It's hilt is a marvelous mix of gold, silver and a frosty crescent as the pommel. The blue jewel in the golden portion of the hilt is of the deepest sapphire known to man, a single paragon of it's kind. The way it shimmers is otherworldly and the depths of mana within are unlike anything on this world. It's blade is crafted from the finest meteor ilk that have fallen from the sky. The gold and silver were crafted in dwarven and elven forges when they were still allies. The blade itself was made by humans in the far reaches of the mountains of iceberg.  Whether or not this blade is from this dimension or another is unknown.

Measurements: The blades length is 1.5 meters not including the hilt. The hilt itself is made for one handed ventures, clocking in at about 10 inches long.  

Effects


  • Vacuum of the beyond: When casting a spell through this blade they may choose one directional adjustment at any point during the spell as long as its in increments of 5.
  • Midnight Sky: When the user is wielding this weapon they appear as though partially invisible at all times making it difficult to ascertain where they are.

    Duration: Sustain
    Effect: The user of the blade makes a stabbing motion, sending out a shimmering wave of purple and blue. This shimmering wave upon contact of a target burns a 1xS rank amount of mana from the target and debuffs one physical stat of their choosing if striking constitution directly. The debuff portion of this may be sustained. When used no moon is present on the back part of the blade.

    Type: Offensive
    Element: Darkness + Frost
    Range: 25
    Cooldown: 5 posts
    Duration: Instant
    Effect: The user of this weapon makes a partial slash, sending out a tumbling sickle of bright light. This light when it connects with a target detonates, dealing 1xS damage to the target and burns away 1xS mana from the target if striking the targets constitution directly. When used the Waxing Crescent may be seen on the blade's back half.

    Type: Defensive
    Element: Darkness + Frost
    Range: 25 Meters or Self
    Cooldown: 5 posts
    Duration: Sustain
    Effect: The user turns the blade from facing outward to facing inward while pouring mana into it. The user then finds their body protected by a shield made of darkness and frost. One half of the users body is shown in bright light while the other is steeped in darkness. This shield defends the user at a 2xS rank. Attackers that hit the shield find their mana burning away at 1xS rank. When used the half moon may be seen on the back half of the blade.

    Mana Cost: 10% or 1000 mana, whichever is higher.

    Type: Transformation
    Element: Darkness + Frost
    Range: Self
    Cooldown: Once per thread
    Duration: Sustain
    Effect: The user of this weapon pours mana into the blade. The users blade shimmers in various states of the moon and the moons on the back end of the blade flicker in and out of existence. When striking a target's constitution directly they are able to burn away 1xS of their mana and steal up to two ranks lower of their strikes damage when striking a targets constitution. The user is lit up brightly during this transformation and the passive 'Midnight Sky' is inactive for as long as this transformation is ongoing.
