Daisia stood on the outskirts of Baska, waiting for her little lord as she gazed at the sky above. Who knows what she was thinking, but it was most likely about what to do next. The woman bit her lip as she swung the key in her hand around on its chain. It was in the dead of night that both her Khalfani had agreed to meet again, exactly six days away from the first time they had met. Then, Khalfani was a slightly different person. The child discovered their true name, their heritage and had acquired a power that they didn't quite understand. Luckily, Daisia seemed to have more of an understanding than they did. Things were happening so fast for the Desiertan child. Now knowing what they knew, it made their mission for Odin a little more complicated. If they were already nobility by birth, that could mean that people were expecting them to migrate to that land. If they were nobility by birth, then Odin's dream of creating a Meritocracy would mean that Khalfani had to forfeit whatever they had inherited. Maybe that wasn't such a bad thing anyway. Khalfani wanted to be as powerful as kings and queens because with such power meant that they could carry out true justice, but now that they knew that idea was something they didn't need to work for they questioned whether they should happily take it. If they did, then the young Desiertan would become an example of the exact type of person that their father wanted to eliminate.
Knurn would be better off as a ruler. Not only was he the heir to the thrown, but there was a big chance that his views didn't align with Odin's. Khalfani wanted nothing more than to make their adopted father proud but that may have meant neglecting a part of themself that was fully out of their control. Either way, Fiore was an extremely corrupt country. This country had caused harm more than one country in multiple ways and had even endorsed some of the worst decisions made by the magic council. So if nothing else, Khalfani was fine with overthrowing the Fiorian King should the time come. Not just for Odin but for the sake of all people harmed by the most powerful monarchy in the world. There could have been a way to make this work, Khal thought. If they used their inherited power to assist the Wizard Lord, then maybe Odin wouldn't mind if they ruled in a different land. Nevertheless, the Nephilim would have to have a deeper conversation to see where the Lich's mind was really at regarding the matter. For now, Khalfani's only focus was meeting Daisia and finding out what more she had to offer the little lord. Apparently she was going to take them to a place outside of this realm so that they could tap into their abilities. Using their magic has been a hurdle too high to jump over on their own. Khalfani made their way to the lady, practicing controlling their magic as they walked towards her. They closed their eyes and focused their mana at the pit of their core, fluctuating it as it coursed through their body. They could feel the heat from their mana, and they knew then that this was only touching the surface of their control. They thought about how to project their mana, and they could feel that they had a large pool of energy, but bringing outside of their body would be the hardest part. However, being able to control it while inside of them wasn't hard. As long as they could control it, they knew they'd be able to produce spells. This was a basic control technique.
