It seemed as if she had took a wrong turn and ended up in a part of town that was filled with pathways that all looked the same. This caused her to feel anxious and a little scared. "Oh dear... W-which way did i come from again? This must be the center of Astera... Gods, there is so many people... and so many paths. It's like a giant maze... N-no... Calm down.. it's fine... I have to calm myself. H-hello?! A-anyone around that can help guide me through this labyrinth?" She'd cry out, shouting out for someone to aid her. She needed help and guidance through this place, otherwise she might end up wandering the twisting paths of Astera for what might feel like an eternity.

While he was making his way back to his current hideout he heard some calling out for help which was odd given most people in this part only spoke the common tongue. "It would help if you spoke the language," he said walking up behind the girl with his hands tucked in his back pockets, she sure wasn't hiding anything with her guild mark on full display but then again lights guilds are always like that. "If you speak any Fiorian I'd use that to help you," he told the girl as he examined in her to see if she was the type to start anything. From his exam, he could tell she was the type to be tricked without much effort.

She'd take a small breath, look the young man in the eyes and speak in a soft tone. "i am quite fine with Fiorian speech. i am merely... unfamiliar with Astera. I have been housed in Hargeon for the past two years, never setting foot outside of there. You could say i am a not used to how large these types of cities are. They are far different then my home country. As for introductions, you may call me by the name Lily." Her tone did hint a small bit of annoyance but that was to be expected when it came to new places. Her dress was clearly not made from anything in Fiore or even supplied from any of the shops. If the young gentlemen could identify the origin of the dress, it would hint to where Lily was originally from itself.
"are you native to this town or... would you say that this is your first time here? i need directions towards the inn so that i may rest for the night. I had traveled on foot to get here, so I require some rest on a comfortable bed. Mayhaps you could be my guide for a short while? it would help me so very much."
Lily would keep her distance of 5 feet constant, not moving around the young man and keeping her tone as gentle as she could. She could feel a small breeze passing by. Maybe it was a sign of good fortune or just merely a sign of a good meeting. She wasn't quite sure as of yet but she felt confident that this young man could be of some help for the time she was staying in Astera.

The girl seemed like the type that didn't really fight or didn't give the impression that she didn't anyway "I would be more than happy to help you though I do have a small request of my own to ask of you." the day had really become an interesting one that was certain. The inns were hard to find given the nature of Astera but once you become accustomed to the layout finding everything was much easier to find. As she followed behind him he thought back to when his birth mother would teach him about her home and how she always wanted him to visit one day but that was back in his old Life.
He looked at his heart pin on his jacket and place it in his pocket "So your part of a guild that must be nice always wanted to be part of one." part of him always wanted to join a light guild but at the same time they had a way to much red tape for certain things.

As they both walked around, Lily would make note of what the young gentleman was saying, listening closely as she'd want to make sure she didn't miss a single detail. Her heels would click with each step, her eyes dashing to each new building that would come in view as she'd make a mental map in her mind. Upon being pointed about being in Blue Pegasus, her expression would change from a gleeful one to a little disheartened.
"You could say it's nice. There is always good food for you after training or a mission. There are friendly faces but... You could say i feel like i am not feeling like i am doing the guild a service. Blue Pegasus... is different from other guilds. I can't say more then that. J-just know, I'm currently having my own thoughts about the guild and that is that. Do you know of any good cafes? I'd wish to thank you for the tour of the area... as in.. well, I believe it necessary i show gratitude for your kindness, Sir Bedlam"
Her speaking pattern was that of a wavering and mildly scared young lady near the start but would change to a bit more cheerful and positive. Her expression too would lighten up as she'd put on a smile to try and keep the mood up. She really didn't want to spoil it with her own problems being the main focus. She was a little tired and needed a good cup of tea to lighten her mood and she wanted to trust this Bedlam person. He was being so kind to a young lady that he didn't know, so she felt it only kind enough to try and trust him. After all, if it wasn't for him, She'd still be lost in the town center.

"I hear that there's one just around here with some really good Parfait that I've wanted to try for some time but you really don't have to do such a thing all." it was a nice thought but unwanted currently maybe at some other point down the line he would meet her again. The in that he was leading her to was one that was fairly priced and was the place for guild remembers to often visit when they arrive.

As if driven by that new longing, she'd grab Bedlam by both his hand and stare at him in the eyes, her own shining with expectations and want. "Take me to that cafe right this instant! I must know how what a parfait is and taste it! I do not care if it costs a lot nor the distance, but I must take part in tasting that treat!" Lily would request with her tone being that of a very giddy and excited young girl, her body language perfectly showing her excitement as she couldn't keep still.
She had never tried anything like a parfait. All she knew about it was that it was a very flavourable desert that had a variety of different toppings, flavourings, all while tucked into a tasty covering. Just the thought alone made her all the more excited to visit such a cafe with that sort of snack. She knew that she was acting like a child but she simply couldn't help herself. She had a very big sweet tooth and, thanks to Bedlan telling her of such a treat, she just needed to see if it was worth the hype she was building up for it.

The two change their destination to the cafe as Lily had wanted them to it was as though he gained a little sister throughout this exchange from the way that she was acting with him. The more child-like side of his mind had started to take a liking to her even if it was for something like cafe sweets. while on their way to the cafe he had lead them down the same route that he would use when had to exchange info, as luck would have it someone was waiting for him.
Azure didn't really want to deal with anything work-related so signaled for the man to leave before they got any closer to them "I hear that this place also has some of the best-baked goods in the whole area." he mentioned as they approached the cafe, the smell of freshly brewed coffee filled the air along with the faint scent of baked goods. Not wanting to be in the little lady's way he moved for to the side in case she was the type to rush into a place. Part of him wanted to rush in but then he would have to break the act that he's put up till now which would have been for nothing even if the food did smell really good.

Ordering the milk tea and a custom parfait that was chocolate with whipcream and strawberries, Lily would set herself down at a table near the door, looking over to Bedlam with a very large smile, her eyes still shining with radient innocence and joy, and it was almost too much for most people.
"Why didn't anyone tell me back in Caelum that Fiore had the widest selection of pastries, biscuits and all things tea?! This is truly heaven for me. Thank you oh so much for informing me on this place, Sir Bedlam! The smells, the auroma of all the tea, coffee and pastries... the atmosphere... even the decorations and design of this cafe screams to me! I must make this cafe my own special spot from here on out!" Lily spoke with the most joyful tone she could, her smile wide and her eyes showing her appreciation and joy. It was as if her mature self had vanished and in it's place was a truly innocent and cheerful girl that loved sweets and couldn't sit still.
Even as the her order arrived, she just couldn't stop herself from appreciating the smells and the look of each item, as if it was just like a piece of fine art. As she took her first bite of the parfait she ordered, her expression turn to complete bliss as the flavour melted in her mouth, her hands quivering as she took each bite slowly. This was truly heaven for the young girl and she couldn't feel more happy if she tried. This cafe was now her safe haven, her favourite spot in Fiore.

As she went on about the cafe and thanking him for all the help "It's no problem at all information is just easy to come by is all." everything in the cafe smelled really good but he had to restrain himself less they have two children running around the cafe. "Tell me did you live in Caelum for long?" he asked holding his teacup the more she talked about as brief as it was made part of him want to know more about it even if it wasn't much. He sipped some of his tea and placed it back on the table even though he did mention the cafe he didn't think she would act like this.

"I lived most of my life back home in Caelum. This pendant is all i got from my mother, according to the orphanage owner. She said the crest itself isn't that important and that i shouldn't care about social standings. All i know about my mother and father are that they wanted me to be have a better life and that's why they left me in the orphanage. Politics and all that is all too much for me anyway... so I'm grateful that they let me have a more unique start to life. Still... I do wish that I could see my mother and father at least once in my life. I'm sorry if I dragged that on for too long... It's just that no one has every really asked me about home so... I got carried away."
Lily responded with a somber tone, putting her treat down as she'd stare out of the window and sigh.
She truly did miss the playground and the other children back home but she wanted to persue a life of knighthood. Lily knew that it was the better choice in the matter as getting an early start in the life meant that she could get stronger and be able to protect the people that matter most, right? Even now, that thought was going through her head and yet she couldn't answer that question. Was she really doing alright on her own right now and actually going towards her goal? Only time could tell. That was the only answer she could give at the moment. Her longing eyes just gazed out towards the city and her smile would fade to that of a worried expression.

The day had only just made to noon and there was still so much left to do given that he now had to track down his contact that showed up before. Not wanting to just have tea he ordered some tarts for the both of them.

"I shouldn't have talked so much of home... why must I be such... an idiot half the time? He might be kind but... I need to keep my past to myself... at least for the mean time. It's not like anyone will really understand it... or even care. I'll go after Bedlam shows me to the inn. That should be enough for the day..."
Lily spoke to herself, keeping her voice low to not let anyone catch what she was saying. Her back was leaning firmly against the wall of the building to the right of the cafe, with her body turned away from said cafe, her hand covering her heart. All she wanted to do now was just go to the inn and forget the rest of the day. Seemed as if talking about her past really got to her.

Not wanting to stay and watch the girl pout about her family/life drama the informant stood up from the table and made a suggestion "Alrighty then too the inn we go unless you want to stay awhile longer?" a fair question given that she could just drown any bad feelings that she was having with more sweets or coffee. Even though it started out as an act his child-like side actually took a liking to her which was fine as they most likely wouldn't meet her again unless the faiths had other things in store for them.

"I'm sorry for being in such a bad mood, Bedlam... Home is a rough topic. A-and I didn't want to drag you down. You seem like one of the nicer people around here and... I just need some rest. Travelling and sleeping on the rough ground for the past few nights isn't pleasant. I need a soft, comfortable bed to lay in and relax. Nature and I do get along but i require a matress for the best of sleep."
Lily would keep her tone somewhat low as she'd grip Bedlam's hand tightly. It was as if she trying to act like a little sister who needed a bit of comfort after having a big fall or something like that. She wasn't necessarily doing it on purpose, but she wouldn't be lying if she said she would appreciate a little pick-me-up after her little emotional torment release. Even as the two got into very close walking distance of the inn, Lily would keep her grip tight on Bedlam's hand, her breathing slow and her eyes a little irritated from tears that were going down her cheeks

"Sorry what was that spaced out a bit there?" while she was talking he really did spaced out as he thought about his book collection slowly disappearing due to him having to sell them for other things. he hadn't noticed that the girl took hold of his hand part of him wanted to pull his hand away from her but that would have broken illusion that they have created. His more adult half was becoming rather annoyed with the girl but knew that he had to keep up the act until they reach the inn, "Not that I really mind but your gripping my hand rather tightly right now, Is something wrong?" a rather simple question given that part of him was worried slightly.
Once they reached the inn Azure slipped his hand away from the girl and quickly left her to deal with her own problems as it seemed like that's what she needed. While he walked away from the inn he pulled out his heart pin again and placed it back on his jacket.
