Along with the Handsome Pageant, the Empyrean Divine guild has a handful of other events to participate in while staying within the borders of Stella. One of these events which interested the curious monk was the hunting of dinosaurs - the peace-loving monk did not want to hurt any creatures during the hunt, so he created a goal for himself which he mumbled to himself as he waddled through the dense underbrush of Stella's forests, "I will find this special creature the ruthless guildmaster of Empyrean Divine wants and bring the creature to her, alive, before anymore are injured."

Poropo was not happy with this event, but in order to participate he needed to do some hunting of his own - the only way to stop the slaughter of dinosaurs would be to bring the correct dinosaur. Unfortunately, the guildmaster of Empyrean Divine did not mention what the dinosaur was - everyone had to guess and bring something back. The frustrated monk continued mumbling to himself about this awful situation, "she likely will choose the prettiest dinosaur rather than having a dinosaur in mind - a cunning woman who uses a fun event as a means to gain trophies for herself." The skeptical monk did not know the true intentions of this hunting event, but killing creatures is something the peaceful monk wishes to stop as quickly as possible.

The hunt for a creature to please the Empyrean Divine guildmaster was not going well for the frail and exhausted monk - he was not a creature of the wilderness, instead a creature of faith and devotion to the Iron Deity. Poropo kept his hands clasped while stumbling through the wilds of Stella, searching for a small dinosaur or dinosaur-like entity - the creature needed to be small in order to more easily drag the struggling creature all the way back to the guildmaster. The peaceful monk did not want to harm the creature, but the monk also did not have a cage or ropes - the best the monk could do was pull the creature by force, "or find whatever it eats and entice the blessed thing...huff...puff..."

Poropo was becoming too exhausted to keep going so he stopped tiny clearing in the middle of a temperate forest. The season was summer so this forest was quite warm - the rotund monk wearing plate armor could barely move an centimeter once he lost all his momentum, "huff...where...puff...is this...blessed...dino...saur...I need to stop...this...awful event..." The monk became too tired to even stay conscious - losing his breath, Poropo collapsed into a deep sleep in the middle of a warm forest, alone.

Poropo was having a great sleep within this surprisingly peaceful forest in the middle of Stella's wilderness - he could hear the birds chirping in his sleep while the cool breeze kept the irritating sweat at bay. The temperature of this temperate forest was temporarily perfect - unfortunately a slight difference woke the tired monk from his nap.

"Meep," heard Poropo while trying to wake himself from his deep nap - the sound was animal-like, rather cute in the honest monk's humble opinion. However, the source of the change in temperature and the sound were the same - a stark pink dinosaur standing on top of the monk's rotund belly!

"Buaaaaah!?" the monk fumbled around in shock upon seeing this strange creature - there were times the monk would wake up in a cold sweat but still feel as though he was dreaming, unable to move his body but seeing demons and impure entities weighing him down! Thankfully the monk was able to jump up and move while the little, pink creature fell off with another squeak.

"Meeeep!" squeaked the little dinosaur no large than a foot tall - the creature was rotund like Poropo and had stubby arms and legs. The most astounding features included pink feathers, pink scales, and a large spike jutting out of the stomach.

The surprised monk stumbled back after swiping the meeping creature off his belly - the creature bounded like a rubber ball on the ground and eventually stood on stumpy feet to face the monk again. The bald monk and the feathered dinosaur stared at each other in shock and silence as if inspecting one another - the danger levels coming either creature - monk and dinosaur - were rather low so neither immediately ran from the other.

The staring contest lasted for several minutes as the pair could not take their eyes off each other - despite sizing each other up, neither wanted to make the first move. Poropo was fearful of the large spike jutting out of the stomach of the pink dinosaur while the dinosaur was scared of Poropo's relatively large size - they each had reason to fear one another despite their frail bodies.

The monk decided he could make the first move - this creature looked perfect for the hunting competition! The pink feathers of the dinosaur had specs of blue similar in color to the guild Empyrean Divine - perhaps this creature would please the guild's master. Poropo carefully began moving forward in an attempt to begin friendly relations with the creature - the hope was to befriend this dinosaur before resorting to force.

However, before the monk could truly act - thunderous steps could be heard behind the pink dinosaur! A boom and crash later, the pair of monk and pink dinosaur were met by a gargantuan beast known as a Terrorsaurus! "RAAAAAAAWR!" roared the creature as a form of intimidation - the monk was shocked but the pink dinosaur began running! The pink dinosaur was able to get far enough past Poropo - the Terrorsaurus cared the large monk anyway as the jaws of the large creature swooped in to take a free meal!

"EEEEP!" shouted the monk as he quickly clasped his hands to form the spell Steel Body around himself in defense - the teeth of the Terrorsaurus clashed against the condensed light surrounding Poropo's body. However, the Terrorsaurus had a solid grasp on the helpless monk and lifted the poor Poropo off the ground. The monk did not know what to do aside from keep his hands clasped and pray to the Iron Deity, "Oh Iron Deity! Save me! Save meeeeeee!"

The Terrorsaurus wanted to silence the monk and swung its head, releasing the monk in the process - the frail monk covered in chrome sailed through the forest, past the waddling pink dinosaur, and against a large tree. With a thud, the monk slid down the tree in pain and agony but unscathed otherwise.

Poropo was able to protect himself with his the magic gifted to him by the Iron Deity, but had no plan to get out of this Terrorsaurus predicament! The pink dinosaur continued to run away from the Terrorsaurus while the flung monk was recovering from being nearly eaten - hopefully another hunter from the event would come along by chance to defeat the Terrorsaurus, but this thing was Poropo's problem until further notice, "RAAAAAAAAAAWR!"

"So loud...it is coming for me...I see my death now...perforated by teeth the size of my gut..." mumbled the monk to himself as he stared in shock and awe of the Terrorsaurus thunderous stomping through the underbrush of the forest - the enormous dinosaur did not have a meal thanks to the monk's magic so the creature was still hungry for Poropo's flesh.

"Meep!" squeaked the pink dinosaur in front of Poropo - the little creature came back for some reason, now standing between the monk and the Terrorsaurus. The monk did not care what happened next - the pink dinosaur would be eaten first and then the monk would be last. The candy-like snack stood in front of the Terrorsaurus with the gut-spike jutting out towards the terrifying lizard.

The Terrorsaurus was silently staring down the pink dinosaur - Poropo thought the little creature would be swept aside, turned to mulch, or swallowed whole by now, but the Terrorsaurus was hesitating. The monk thought for a moment why hesitation would occur for such a large behemoth and looked down at the bright pink dinosaur. "Pink...bright color...poisonous?" mumbled Poropo to himself as he witnessed a miracle unfold - the Terrorsaurus lost interest in Poropo and the pink dinosaur and started stomping away in disgust.

The monk stumbled to his feet while the pink dinosaur fainted - the little creature was either exhausted from having run away earlier or from intimidating a Terrorsaurus. Both were good reasons for needing a rest - the monk thought about what might happen to the little dinosaur if the monk brought the pink creature to the guildmaster of Empyrean Divine, "would she eat it? Does she know it might be poisonous? Would she skin and stuff it? Keep it as a pet?"

The monk wanted to hunting competition to stop as soon as possible with as little unnatural death to occur, but having witnessed the terror of the Terrorsaurus - the monk was feeling as though a tiny hunting event might not be so bad after all.

Poropo decided to bring the exhausted, pink dinosaur with him to present to the guildmaster of Empyrean Divine - the hope was to end the competition, get a little extra prize money, and set the pink dinosaur free with a little speech. The monk was contemplating this decision as he trundled the temperate forest, towards the end of the day. The Terrorsaurus attack did not last long - the longest part of the day for Poropo was napping. Many other dinosaurs would likely have been hunted down by the more skilled hunters in the event so whatever morals Poropo attempted to convey by participating were likely dashed - the only thing left was to understand the motivation behind the hunt.

"Maybe there are too many dinosaurs? This competition is specifically about dinosaurs after all - perhaps they lower the diversity in the area or cause too much destruction like the Terrorsaurus? Much to think about," said the monk to himself as he waddled with the unnamed, pink dinosaur. Speaking of the unnamed, little creature sleeping soundly within Poropo's arms - the monk did not know the name of this thing unlike the Terrorsaurus who's name was well known within the country of Stella. The monk not only contemplated the destiny of the pink dinosaur but also the pink thing's name.

The walk back to the main event hosted by Empyrean Divine was comparatively short compared to the length of Poropo's daytime nap. However, the monk was still thinking so his waddle was slow, not to forget the monk was frail, old, and heavy - whatever movements he made were already slow on top of intentionally moving slowly. The inching forwards Poropo was doing would not slow down the rate at which other dinosaurs might be hunted, but in the grand scheme of this short event, "how many could possibly be hunted? There are many great hunters, but they will likely only choose one target, defeat or kill the target, and bring it back to be judged. Maybe the Empyrean Divine Guild Master did have a dinosaur in mind?"

The monk was attempting to justify hunting for sport within this large country filled almost entirely with forests of varying kind - hunting is necessary for the survival of a creature, but hunting for sport is not necessary. The peace-loving monk felt a little pit in his stomach just thinking about how senseless hunting for sport really is - killing a creature for food is justifiable under the teaching of the Iron Deity but killing for sport is not. The monk was beginning to dislike this competition again.

Poropo finally made his way all the way back to the start of the hunting event - his feet were tired from shuffling for a long while. The monk still had a sleeping, pink dinosaur within his arms whom he decided a name for based on what he had seen - perhaps this name would be enough to amuse the Empyrean Divine guildmaster and win the competition while also letting the poor creature into the wild again. Perhaps the guildmaster would keep this creature as a pet - food, shelter, water, and anything else as long as the guildmaster of Empyrean Divine took care of the pink dinosaur.

Poropo walked up to the judging area and presented the pink dinosaur which he dubbed, "the Sugmasaurus Flex! Here it is! Is this the dinosaur you were looking for?" The sleeping Sugmasuarus Flex woke up at the commotion and looked around, confused. The pink dinosaur had not been around many people before so this new feeling required some processing - this processing was in the form of holding its large gut and pointing the spike at whomever was closest at any given time, as a means of self defense.

"Meep! Meep! MEEP!" squeaked the Sugmasaurus Flex, pointing the spike over and over in an attempt to people at a distance. The little dinosaur was less than a foot tall - the threats were cute, at best.
