Kaito wonders what he will be walking into this time while protecting another shop from being raided and ransacked because of these shops double dealing and underhanded ways. Kaito arrives at the shop seeing a rotund man who looks as shady has he is round. ”It took you long enough don't you know time is money, I should fire you cause you already look like bad news.”

Kai looks down at his cloak and then back at the man and realizes he means cause Kai is wearing a mask and is cloaked like a killer in the night. ”I believe that would be a poor choice as no one else would make it here in time to help you.” The rotund man looks Kai up and down but sighs knowing Kai is right so he will just have to do for now.

The rotund man leads Kai in and shows him where all the good over priced items he has are to make sure if anything got stolen it wasn't them. Kai nods and thinks up a game plan for how to deal with the attackers if they do come knocking. The rotund man hands Kai the key to lock up after he has dealt with them and leaves Kais payment in the drawer to take with him when he leaves and the rotund man waddles out.

Kai rigs up some traps so he can cull their numbers a little if they do come in a big enough pack to have to worry about them just out numbering him with power. Kai turns out the lights and dodges his own traps and waits for them to come for the prize for their night of mayhem.  About 2 hours later he sees a group coming out from the shadows of the dimly lit road ways and like a well trained team they are breaking in while the other two watch their backs for any guards roaming off timing.

Kai gets ready cause he wants to end this as fast and as accordantly as he can without getting himself hurt or anything stolen from the shop, cause he is doing his best not to have a slip up and have something get stolen and him fail in a way. He sets his cloak down and takes his mark.

They get into the shop and the first one in steps in the snare trap that pulls them up off their feet and as the others try to get him down Kai spirits causing the other two to stop helping and move deeper into the shop getting themselves trapped, Leaving one person left to be fought. The man walks carefully through the shop and Kai gets ready to fight.

The man throws the first punch and Kai grabs his arm and flips him the man lands on his feet showing this fight is not gonna be so easy as the first batch he had fought before. The man grabs Kai by the arm but quickly releases his grip on Kai after getting a taste of the curse. ”W-what was that I felt like I was drowning...” The man jumps back trying to catch his breath and Kai goes forward at him.

Kai figures the man knows better than to touch his skin from here on out , Kai goes for some mid-body kicks not wanting to pull out his katana yet unless he has to. The man does his best to keep blocking the kicks using his bag to cover his arms so not to be hit by Kai skin to skin. Kai goes low and sweeps the mans feet and kicks him back into another trap.

Kai dodges to the side just missing getting hit by a knife that was thrown at him from the out side of the shop. ”There were more... great. ” Kai goes out side of the shop and sees this man is huge and is coved in leather armor so is not gonna be as easy to deal with. Kai hopes he is faster then the man making a small hop his body is cloaked in wind magic to speed him up.

The massive man slams his fists down just missing Kai who nearly gets crushed like an insect under them. Kai draws his katana and tries to take out his legs but Kai can't get close getting swiped back every time he gets close by this bastion of a man. Kai tries to think of a song to time the movements of this man to, he hears a thunderous tune in his head and he moves along to the sounds to dodge the attacks and he goes high and kicks the guy square in the face, Kai lands wrong because the kick did less then he thought it would.

Kai holds his knee knowing he isn't gonna be able to go high for that kind of kick again, with his knee injured.  The man laughs a taunting is that all you have laugh at Kai before picking Kai up by his shirt off the ground. Kai grabs the mans arm with his hands and swings forward with both feet hitting him right up under the chin, tearing his shirt but the man drops to his knees with wide eyes and his teeth cracked and part of his tongue was on the ground in front of him. Kai hits the man in the face with the back of his katana knocking him out for the count. Kai restrains  the big man then goes and gets the others down and restrained for the guards.

Kai puts them out in the street then he goes back in and straightens the shop and gets his cloak that he puts on cursing that he is gonna have to mend his shirt again. He walks over to the draw and pulls out his payment and he makes sure it is all there then goes out the front door and locks up the door then heads for the baths to get cleaned up.
