Emil reads the request over again and wonders how they expect him to find the rat in the hen house. He walks up to the door then takes a breath to steel himself entering into the brothel and goes to the managers office like it is second nature at this point after dealing with her so often as of late.

The girls watch him walking past wondering if maybe today is the day he picks to use one of them. Emil ignores their stares as he goes into the office and is met by the manager who tells him he will be supervising on the women to see if he can find the snake in her grass. Emil thought he heard her wrong so he asks her to repeat herself just to make sure of what he thought he heard.

Emil feels weird about spying but all he really has to do is make sure the money is trading hands at the right amount and no one is stealing straight from the payments. Emil walks along the wall and watches in for when they get payments but ignores the action going on in these rooms. He doesn't see anything too out of the normal so he goes back and reports to the madam.

What he saw she tells him nothing was out of the normal so her rat must be something from the outside and she sends him to look for someone else that could be stealing from the outside coming in. Emil walks around the brothel and he finds a spot that no one had been around for a bit that is hidden behind a box just covers it so the wind isn't blowing through and isn't leaking water.

Emil moves the box and sees a hole in the wall that is covered but the cover has been loosened and there is some muddy hand prints that look fresh on the floor that are child size hands. He pulls the light weight box that was covering the hidden spot and puts a heavier container in front of the hole. Figuring if the rat is in side they will be trapped if they come back out here to escape from the brothel and will probably panic or just plane give up and submit to him capturing them.

Emil goes to check small spaces in the rooms and waiting areas he thinks someone small enough could hide in. He catches sight of a small boy from under a chair moving toward the managers office keeping himself as small and quiet as he can be, he looks like he is in pretty beaten up clothes and a bit dirty. He follows after the boy who is now hiding behind a sliding wall and watches him wait till the manager leaves her office locking it behind herself to go out and talk to some of the girls about potential new clients that are looking into them.

The boy runs up and starts trying to lock pick the door looking like he might have a little experience with lock picking and Emil walks up behind him. ”Lose your key there pal?” He said this in a teasing manner toward the boy. The boys hair stands on end and he runs away leaving his tools in the door and Emil chases after him having a good idea where he will run to.

The boy gets to where he had gotten in and struggles trying to get the container moved, but it doesn't even slide an inch. The boy goes to run out and Emil picks him up and carries him. The boy gives up knowing he is caught and he doesn't want this man to hurt him like the other vendors that have caught him in the past have done, Emil glad his plan worked so well.

Emil takes the boy and finds the manager and he shows her the boy, then they go back to her office she unlocks it and lets Emil in then she follows him in and Emil places the boy in the chair and the manager takes her seat and looks at him, she starts questioning the boy who at first is tight lipped knowing the people that sent him will probably do more then just break one of his hands.

Emil looks at the boy and he smiles at this boys guts. ”Boy if you spill your guts this will go faster for you and less chance she guts you like a fresh caught fish.” The boy turns pale at hearing him say this to him, the boy looks at the woman who nods in agreement to what Emil had just said.

The boy starts crying and admits he is the one that has been stealing that he is homeless and is being sent to steal by a group of people that pretty much owns him, and if he wants to stay safe on the streets in his box in the alley he has to do what they say, or he will probably be disfigured or starved to death. The boys face is covered in tears and snot fearing he is gonna now be killed.

The manager claps her hands, some girls walk in and see the poor crying boy. The manager tells them to get him cleaned up and in a uniform that is his size. They giggle and take the boy out then bring him back not to long after cleaned up and in a uniform, she tells the boy he will be working as a cleaner in the brothel and he will have his own room so he will stay safe and she can keep an eye on him to make sure he is keeping his nose clean.

The manager hands Emil his payment and sends Emil oh his way the women keeping their eyes on the new hire instead of Emil which he is thankful for, wishing the kid luck working in this nut house as the women fawn over the boy Emil leaves quickly.
