While traveling through this area, you begin to feel a strange sensation all over your body. As you look around to find the source of this feeling, you cannot seem to pinpoint its origins directly. Depending on where you stand, the feeling becomes either stronger or completely disappears. Using this as a guide, you eventually manage to find what has been trying to draw you in towards itself: Magharedes' Blood Rune. It is said that when all five Blood Runes are collected, the user can communicate directly with the entity to wish for something. Though, the collection comes in the form of tribute to the entity itself. Blood must be spilled. Still interested in becoming both predator and prey?

  • See Magharedes' Runes to learn more about the Blood Runes and the requirements to roll.

Conditions

  • Users may perform a post in the topic and roll once per 24 hours in an attempt to claim the Blood Rune until it has been claimed by someone.

  • Should they roll 50 or greater, they will acquire the Blood Rune and become ineligible to acquire another until the Blood Battles begin. This is when all five Blood Runes have been distributed.

Arriving in Era, Esperia spotted the familiar cloaked figure waiting for her near one of the gates, a smile on the woman's lips. Esperia raised a hand in a greeting. "You wished to meet me?" The woman gestured for her to follow, explaining things as she walked along the road. "So, you likely noticed the fact that because of your reputation it is quite a difficult feat to accomplish. Even if you didn't do anything truly too bad, it doesn't change the fact that your reputation made you a very infamous individual."

Esperia frowned, clearly displeased by the truth who continued. "And I assume you have a solution?" Esperia's question earned a smile from the woman who clarified soon. "There is an ancient legend in Fiore, one which involves a collective of runes, should you desire and succeed in collecting the five runes, you would be able to make a wish, one that possibly allows you to request for people to forget your reputation."

The suggestion made Esperia ponder for a bit, was this related to the mysterious presences she had felt across Fiore? That could explain the reason why she was so drawn by those magical sources that seemed to draw her in.

It was here. She could feel it in her bones, her skin, her nerves. Every single thing that she was felt heightened and she followed it. Eyes wide, heart racing, Hitomi had never been so hungry for whatever this was. Her body wandered around aimlessly for a moment, the power waning or growing depending on whatever direction she was heading in. The feeling was strange enough but she knew it would lead her somewhere. Once she got her bearings about how the power worked she followed it like a hound dog that caught a scent of blood in the air. Her body moved with efficiency and purpose until the power was so overwhelming that she had to stop. Finally, she had spotted its source. It was a curious thing, it looked like some sort of stone piece? maybe a rune of some sort with the little red carving in it. She didn't know what it was but she reached out to it hoping to have it for herself.
