Yuurei

Yuurei and Renji had gotten everything that belonged to them and were now on their way back to Christina. It had really been two years since they departed, but now to return to a place that accepted them was the best thing in the world. Still, their trip would be a long one as they had to go through a majority of Fiore just to get back home. It was a cold day today much like the day they left to go around Fiore. The sun out, the flock of birds soaring through the sky, and the beautiful vast scenery in front of them.

Yuurei would walk through the fields with Renji on his shoulder as they weren't being bothered during their travel.

"So do you think everyone has changed as much as I did?" He asked Renji.

"You mean did they cut their hair, and become more physically fit? I don't know everyone did, but we can only hope. I mean I didn't change in the last two years right?" He asked waiting for an answer.

Yuurei would look at Renji as they continued their travel, and he would only smile at him.

"Nah you look the same, strong Exceed I met that day." He said to Renji with a smile on his face.

Renji would puff his chest out to hear that as he was glad to hear that. As the two continued walking through the open land of Fiore they would be able to tell when they had changed regions. Still, their travel currently would fall into nighttime, which would have the duo take a break. They would find a place for the night and set up camp there. When morning hit, the two of them would continue moving as they had a whole day ahead of them.

The weather was the same as yesterday made it easier for them with traveling. Throughout the day they would keep moving on the road, and sometimes they would make pit stops to help out others along with their travel. If that weren't the case they would have made it home faster.

The duo kept moving through the open roads as they were alerted at all times. They didn't have anybody protecting them, so they didn't know if they might ever be attacked. They enjoyed the weather though, Yuurei had gotten used to this cold, which he was not fond of at the beginning. Now it was something he knew was coming and didn't think much of it. They kept moving though as they knew that they were getting closer to Magnolia. The scenery would change from region to region, and when they saw that they were in the East Region, they would relax as they were almost there.

"When we get there I wonder what everybody will talk about. I know we haven't seen each other in such a long time." He said to Renji with excitement.

"I don't know, but nobody better touch me when we get there." He said this as they would be able to see Magnolia City off in the distance.

Now that they could see the city from here, Yuurei would no longer be walking and enjoying the area around him. He would start jogging through the road, and it would soon become a full-on sprint. This was perfect and Renji would hold on as he didn't forget how fast his companion had gotten through the years. He was fast as how he used to be while using magic and that was a good sign of becoming stronger. It wouldn't take long for him to arrive at the entrance of the gates, and he would be met with the guards that were stationed there.

They were going to question him but realized that this guy was from Blue Pegasus. He had changed due to age, but his reputation still seemed to linger around him. He would wave at both of them before continuing to move through the city. It wouldn't take him long to arrive at the place the airship was stationed at, and he would look at it with a huge smile on his face.

"Home sweet home." He said.
