The feline froze, her smile fading, right those were the types of questions most people probably asked one another when getting to know each other. The questions seemed innocent enough, but the truthful answers to them involved the kind of information she usually tried to keep to herself so people couldn't use it against her in the future. The last time she admitted her age to people, a bunch had claimed she was too young to be leading the guild's ranger squad. The family question ripped at her heartstrings too, she really didn't want to mention that part of her life. The hobbies? Well, they were what most would consider violent or risky.
"Oh um..." She rushed to think of a diplomatic response that would allow her to avoid answering, before sighing to herself. What was the point in lying about these things anymore? Especially to those from a legal guild, they wouldn't do anything to harm her without her giving them a valid reason. Perhaps honesty would be best here. "I'm sixteen..." she muttered quietly under her breath, not wanting anyone nearby to overhear, lest word spread throughout the town.
"I have... parents... sort of." Was the best she could force herself to muster, however, given her current familial situation. Honestly, how was she meant to explain that without going into every detail of her past? Not something she wished to relive, not while she was just starting her new life here, "And um... hobby-wise," She paused briefly, "It would be easiest to simply say I'm a bit of a thrillseeker." She chuckled nervously as she tried to shrug off the turn of awkwardness the conversation had taken.
