This scene takes place directly before the contents of "Into the Lions Den"

Stepping out of the shower, Jove looked out the steam covered window in order to see the birth of a new dawn. The lavender blue sky began to slowly adopt reds and oranges, and as the sun crested over the horizon, Jove turned his attention to the most important part of his morning routine- Washing his face.

Jove was one of those individuals who ended and began each day by brushing his teeth, meaning that his pearly whites had already been shined. By taking a shower, something he was also meticulous about, he ensured that he would be clean, fresh, and fragrant for his visit to his now closest friend. The most important part however, especially for one of Jove's age, was to do a proper skincare routine for his face. This would ensure cleanliness and a face devoid of wrinkles or signs of aging. With a towel around his waist, he would grab a dry hand towel and use it to clear steam off a part of the window so he could see his reflection.

First and foremost was the use of an exfoliating face scrub. This was something that was a bit more intense than a usual face wash, but should still be completed two to three times per week. It would remove all the pesky dead skin from his face and free up his pores to breathe, allowing for a more fresh and glowing natural look. Splashing his face with some cold water, he would place a small dot of the scrub in his hands and begin to rub his face down. Making sure to get his entire face, including his eyebrows, he would get all the dead skin from his face in circular motions with his hands. He was given confirmation that the scrub worked as he saw little balls of dead skin and exfoliating wash form on his cheeks, forehead, and nose. Finally content with the amount of work done, he would gently rinse his face to begin the next stage of the face cleansing routine.

Next up would be a cleanser, which was a simple facewash that would clean up his face from any residual dirt, grime, or grease which stuck to his skin and in his now open pores. The cream was gentle on the skin, and it cooled him down as he rubbed it into his face. Again, Jove was careful to ensure he reached every part of his face to ensure that he was taking proper care of his skin. Once completed, he'd again rinse with cold water and pat his face dry with the hand towel. Applying a light vitamin rich serum to his face, he would ensure that his skin, which was the largest organ on the body, would be given the nutrients it needed to thrive. Finally, he would apply a scentless moisturizer, ensuring that he'd retain his youthful look and glow. The light lines in his forehead, while unavoidable due to stress and long hours, were the only signs of aging he had received at all in his years of life. That was, in large part, due to how clean and properly maintained he kept his face.
