Shopping was one of life’s joys. Seeing the stalls, meeting the people, browsing their goods and coming away from it with lighter pockets but heavier wardrobes. Ahhh. It was truly an exhilarating experience and today was simply the perfect day for it. The merchants were in town and, as always, they brought a great deal of goods with them. Food from other nations, jewellery forged in distant lands, armour crafted from afar, treasures plundered and sold. It was one of those little vices that brought the masked magus a great deal of joy. Plus, what also made Rush Valley an attractive shopping spot was how blaise the merchants were about selling anything and everything to anyone.
Khorshid’s wandering eventually brought her to a stall hawking arms and armour, things that would normally not at all interest Khorshid but today? She found herself a little bit more inclined to them. Armour was entirely out of the question given the very nature of her magic but weapons? Now those might prove to be worthwhile. Swords, daggers, a few bows, axes, hammers and a wide variety of others. A larger weapon…did not exactly meet Khorshid’s preference for a bit of subtlety but a dagger or short sword? Excellent options.
But…hmmm. She felt she needed an outside opinion, one ideally untainted by any form of bias and you know what? There was a perfect candidate standing by, also perusing the varied weapons. Khorshid wheeled to face them, twisting around upon her heels, a wide smile decorating her face.
“You there. I would very much like to borrow just a moment of your time. These daggers here. Do you think they are a suitable pairing for myself or should I explore some alternative options?” She had a hand rested upon her waist, a confident expression and was exposing rather a great deal of skin in the form of her shoulders and arms, except the right arm anyway; that one was covered in a full length glove that went all the way up to the point where arm met shoulder.
