Odin ran one hand through his hair, ruffling it a bit as he walked through the stalls and games of the evening streets of Oak City, the festival in full bloom and the occasional nod coming his way from those few that recognised him. It was strange, everything about his life was different. There were people who saw him as another guy in the streets, people that had no idea who he was, people that wouldn't treat him differently because of his appearance. He had ignored it for so long, pushed it to one side for years and accepted it as a sacrifice for his power, but now he had it back. Skin, hair, muscles, veins. Blood. He couldn't help himself, tears started streaming down his face. Not from sadness, but from joy. Pure elation at this new life he could have. On top of that he had zero control over his facial expressions, he couldn't hide how he felt because he had spent so long not needing to.
Those that knew who he was were still wary of approaching, even as the former Lich cried to himself. he wasn't showcasing any of his strength, but they still knew who their Lord was. Not Servas Phantasm, that was for sure. Eternal Nightmare protected, cared for and, most importantly, ruled Oak City. And that was just the beginning. With his new looks came new powers, ones he knew he would have to test out sometime soon. But first, there was a festival to enjoy.
Despite all the crying, which only afforded him confused looks from the crowd, and one little girl who even approached him to ask if he was alright, Odin had somewhere to be. He was going to meet Venus at the end of the street. Unfortunately, he hadn't asked which end, which is why he was now power walking in his kimono and sandals, acutely aware that he was very close to running late. And what kind of man would keep a queen waiting?
