“Teeheeheehee, another fine one, isn't it boys~?” It always seeming like such a wonderful surprise when one was proven wrong for good reason and this the case as Sofia Serena ducked out of the door and trotted her way onto deck with a tray laden with nice, fresh rolls stuffed with hearty filling in hand, while the bubbly brunette had been anticipating quite the torrid time at sea if anything she had found her experience being quite the opposite, and almost reminiscently so, in fact.
“Something fresh from the kitchen for my hard working men~?” Invigorated by the chance to run around beneath he sails and giggle as she watched a bunch of sailors at work as if she was back in her homeland being ferried around by her uncle on one of their cheeky little excursions, true to the word of the captain the men on deck had been cordial and gentlemanly company, so much so that now the girl with the green gaze might have felt a dash of guilt for doubting their intention, and as such was putting every effort in to make amends for that fact.
“Dig in, kay~?” Principle among this desire the assumption of the role of duty chef or at least that of a giddy assistant to the cook while the effort of the veterans around her left her with little to do, it felt the least that the emerald eyed enchantress could do to make sure that she made those working so hard to move her around where afforded every comfort she provide, or at least every one the ring on her finger would offer, and therefore she had set to the task of ensuring high morale and full stomachs with gusto, and then some for that matter. Enjoying herself more than she ever would have thought even as she did so as well, it was nice to feel like her smile and the wares from the kitchen were making any Tom or Dick or Harry feel that little bit better about her day, and the feel of the wind and the surf were only helping that.
You know, I'm starting to think I could get used to this kind of life~? Truly one who loved the chance to seek out some distant horizon and giggle with glee as she did so, it felt like forever ago that she truly had a chance to spread her wings like this, and she loved it. Not that she would give up what she got in exchange for finding her 'nest', of course, but a wise figure once saying that a change was as good as a rest, life seemed good suddenly in spite of the company she kept, didn't it? Hell, by this stage, she'd even forgot they were pirates really. They were practically family at this point…
