Yuurei

Yuurei was on the roof of his guild hall. He was relaxing with Renji next to him. The Exceed was napping, while the light mage was looking up at the sky. He was enjoying his time and he would hope that nobody would be able to find him. Of course, that dream would come to an end. There was a reason why the messenger of the guild always knew where to find people. He had magic that allowed him to sense others and pinpoint them. The messenger would make his way up the roof through the roof access that would lead him on the roof. There he would look around and he would see two figures on the edge of the roof.

He would walk slowly through the roof, and he would find his way toward the edge of the roof. It made him nervous to walk up here as he had never been up here before.

Yuurei

Still, he had a request for him, and he knew he would want to take care of it as soon as he could. He wouldn’t cover Yuurei or Renji but would start a good distance as he would speak out loud to them.

“Yuurei, sir. I have a letter for you. It’s from the mining guy.” He said to Yuurei as the light mage would sigh.

He didn’t want to do that job today, but here he was getting up from where he was laying down. He would look over to the messenger and he would take the letter from him.

“Thank you for bringing this to me.” He said to the messenger.

The messenger would walk back to the roof access to leave Yuurei and Renji alone. Yuurei would open the letter and he would unfold the paper as he would read through it. It would seem like they were going to mine today.

Yuurei

Yuurei would fold the paper again and put it in his pocket. He would look over at his friend and he would smile at him. He already knew how Renji would react to this, but he had to do it.

“Hey Renji. It’s time to wake up my friend. We got a job to do. It seems like Mr. Cliff wants us to get more stuff for him.” He said to his friend as he waited for an answer.

Renji would hear this as he would open his eyes slowly. He would rub them, and he would sigh as he wasn’t excited about this. The Exceed would climb onto Yuurei’s shoulder and he would wait for whatever to happen, to happen. Yuurei would feel his friend on him, and he would walk over to the ledge of the rooftop. He would smile when he saw this, and he would jump off the roof as wings would come out from his back.

Yuurei

When he did this he would start flying through the air as he was going toward his destination. He was enjoying his flight and he wouldn’t have anybody bother him on his travel. The Nephilim kept moving around, and Renji would have his eyes closed the entire time. He was still getting used to his eyes being open after his nap. His time in the mines wasn’t long at all. He was too fast for it to last long. He would see from the distance that it was in his sight, and he would start descending.

When he got close enough to the ground, Yuurei would disperse his wings and he would turn back to normal. There he would smile as he looked around to see a lot of people coming out of the mine and others heading back into the mine. He was walking around as he was heading in the direction of where he could hope to find Mr. Cliff.

Yuurei

Yuurei kept moving through the area while he was doing that. Renji would climb off his shoulder. He would rub his eyes again as he would open them as he was following Yuurei. The light mage would soon see Mr. Cliff off in the distance. He was waiting for them it seemed and he would walk over to them without a problem. When the duo got close to them, they would come to a stop and look at Mr. Cliff and his bodyguards.

The Nephilim figured he would be the one to break the ice as it was quiet.

“So, I’m here Mr. Cliff. I’m assuming you have someone who wants a personal batch of materials from you?” He asked him waiting for an answer.

Mr. Cliff would have a huge smile on his face as he was right about that. He would walk over to Yuurei and Renji and he would look at them and figure he would tell them what they wanted to hear.

“I’m happy to see you Yuurei and Renji. I was hoping for you two to show up today. It would have broken my heart if you couldn’t come today.” He said to Yuurei and Renji.

Yuurei would smile at him as he was glad that he relied on them.

“Still, yes like you said I do need you two today. I indeed have a client that wants a batch of materials from me. You guys would be able to do that for me and it will make me happy. Of course, I will pay you guys as well.” He said to them.

Yuurei and Renji would look over each other before looking at Mr. Cliff.

“Sure we’re fine with doing this for you.” He said to Mr. Cliff.

When he heard that he would signal the bodyguards. They would move forward to Yuurei and would stretch their hands out with his gears.

Yuurei

Yuurei would check the helmet and the pickaxe. He was making sure that they were fine and that there was nothing messed up with it. He didn’t want to get a conscious because of something falling on his head. He also didn’t want to use the pickaxe and then it broke on him. When he made sure that everything was in fine condition, he would look over to Mr. Cliff with a smile on his face. Then he would look over to Renji.

“Okay we’re ready to go Renji.” He said to his Exceed.

Renji would hear this and he would start walking toward the entrance of the mine. Yuurei would follow by his side and the two of them would enter the mine. When they got inside, they would continue moving through the area. They didn’t have anybody to walk around from, so they moved through the tunnel with ease.

Yuurei and Renji would continue walking through the tunnel. When they got to the fork in the road, they would take the right side once again. They would move through the path, and they would make it to the end of the path. Still, when they got there, they would see that there was nobody there. They kept pushing forward as they knew that everybody was toward the back of this place. It wouldn’t take long, but they would see the people working around the area. He had a smile on his face because he was happy that they were working hard.

He kept moving though because he didn’t want to take anything from them. Yuurei kept moving and he would find himself in his location from last time. There were people there, so he kept moving through a path he had never gone through before. When he got to the end of the path, he would see another location for him to work in.

Yuurei

Yuurei would start working right now as he would pick a wall and he would start going after it. He would hammer it down as he was making sure that he would get things done. It was then he would see that it would fall to the ground, which brought Yuurei to move on to the next spot. Renji would walk over to the materials that fell to the ground and he would put them in his bag. The light mage kept moving as he would start working on the next spot. He did the same thing as he was working hard and making sure that he would keep Renji on his toes and working. The Exceed would move to the next spot that had materials on the floor and he would pick them up.

The Nephilim kept working hard as he was going to make sure that they got paid for what they needed to get paid for.

Yuurei and Renji were working hard for hours. The light mage was pressing hard and obtaining everything that he could for Renji to pick up. Renji was running around the area they were in. The activity he was doing was amazing as he rushed around picking up everything he could. It was good exercise for him, and he was enjoying it. The two of them kept pushing through it all and soon enough, they would come to a stop. Yuurei would look over to Renji as he wondered how much they had gathered. It seemed like there was a lot in this place alone, and that was good for the future.

“Are you ready to go back to Mr. Cliff?” He would ask Renji for an answer.

The Exceed would hear this and he would stretch his arms into the air.

“Yeah I think we should head back to him and give him his stuff. We did enough work for him today.” He said to Yuurei.

The berserker would hear this and he would smile at him because he was ready to leave.

Yuurei

Yuurei and Renji would start walking back as they were retracing their steps. A lot of the miners there would see that these two were finally leaving. It wasn’t just that, but they knew that they were deep in the mines for hours. It made them wonder how much they had actually gotten from the spot they were digging in. Still, they didn’t do anything about it because they knew who this guy was. They also knew that he was a good guy and didn’t mean anybody here harm. The Nephilim kept moving without worrying about anything as he had made his way to the fork in the road.

He would look back for a second and wonder how the left side of the area was doing. He figured he could check it out next time and continued pushing through. When he got to the exit of the mine, Yuurei would see Mr. Cliff and his bodyguard waiting for them. Renji would open his bag and he would release all of the content on the wheelbarrow. When he was finished doing this. Mr. Cliff was impressed as usual.

He would hand over Yuurei the jewels, and both parties would end up going their separate ways for the day.
