Another day another dollar, except it wasn't actually daytime and dollars didn't exist. In the world of magic and violence, where dragons roamed freely and humans fought to protect cities that never mattered in the grand scheme of things, the currency was known as jewels- unless you were Z'Aleel, then the currency was known as power and influence. The demonic creature who had been born a Nephilim was chosen to take this world by fire and darkness to create a new one. Unfortunately, to do that he had to acquire power and reputation. It was an annoying thing to consider since he already had so many talents, but Luci believed that taking jobs would result in growth beyond measure. So, here he was listening to a damn Demon cat and doing a quest. Slowly but surely the people around the west region of Fiore were starting to get familiar with him.

Za hadn't been hiding himself from the world, but he had been hiding parts of him. When people requested his help it was most likely through recommendation as opposed to hearing it through the whispers of the masses. For now, the Archfiend liked it that way. He had quickly developed an epithet and a name for himself despite people hardly knowing anything about him. When people reached out to him for jobs he honestly found it hard to believe that they had been convinced he could get it done, but he would get the job done each and every time. Things were just naturally easy for him. Tonight though, the quest he had embarked on was a lot different than anything he had ever done. Tonight was about destroying a Zombie horde. Something straight out of a horror film. Needless to say, he was too excited about this specific quest.

Every other quest he had done up until this point was just so boring. Nothing really happened and it all ended so quick. Sure it was easy money, but for Z'Aleel that wasn't what it was all about. Luci the Demon seemed excited about this quest too. The tiny demon hummed drunkenly as he strolled alongside the Nimulli, taking frequent sips from his silver flask as if he hadn't a single worry in the world. Za glanced over at him and could only chuckle. Over the span of two weeks the two of them had really gotten closer. Together, they had done so much. Who would have though that the creature sent here to watch over him would eventually fall inlove with him. Now, the duo were practically inseparable. Luci could refuse it all he wanted, but Zael knew the truth. It wasn't just about the mission for the Demon anymore.

The city of Baska was a lot more dry and quiet than the city of Baska. It was why Za didn't like coming here too often. Alas, when he heard that someone wanted him to deal with zombies he just couldn't refuse. In a few days though he would leave the west entirely. Finally, he had reunited with Odin Morningstar. The Lich turned Eudaemon was someone he remembered being a fatherly figure to him, someone he had love for that could not be explained. It was another one of those feelings the soul inside of him had, but it wasn't annoying. Odin produced memories that he quite liked to embrace, plus he was truly one of the finest men he had ever come across- after his beloved friend of course. Perhaps a threesome was necessary, one day. For now, it was time to complete the mission. The destination wasn't too far.

The graveyard was up ahead now. The Nimulli could see perfectly in the night but even if he didn't have night vision, he could still smell the blood and blistering skin of undead humans. It reeked of disease, as if one of the horseman had been the culprit. However, Z'Aleel already knew that this was the work of a Necromancer named Cain. The masked man hadn't been keeping tabs on his own creation and now the Daemon and the Demon had to clean up the mess. The red headed monster of a man thought to himself for a moment. Luci was in his own lovely world, probably full of rainbows and unicorns so he was too occupied to help. How would the duo approach this situation? They were close enough to the outskirts that they could just guide the Horde out and watch them feast on the innocent Baskan people.

It only took the Nimulli one second to agree to a plan. He glanced over at Luci who had been dancing before shaking his head and deciding to do this all alone. It started with a whistle. The whistle was aimless and didn't have a melody but it was enough to get the attention of the Zombie horde. They began to make their way towards the towering dark skinned man. Even undead people were allured by him, what could he say? With his hands in his pockets he began to walk towards the plans, Luci staying far behind and singing the words to some random song that probably came out in X100. Up ahead Za could see a group of travelers. In total there had to be about ten of them all alone in this cold dark world. They were stupid. Fiore wasn't a kind place, less so the rest of the world.

Quickly Za upped the pace and began sprinting towards the group of people. Surprisingly the zombies also sped up. These weren't just any damn zombies and setting them out into the world would only cause more chaos...GREAT, he thought. The travelers were caught of guard by the red haired man sprinting towards them and it was only when it was too late did they see the horde behind the men. Za leaped over them with a devilish smirk. "Bye bye." he saiid as he landed on the other side of them. Just like that, he had set a group of humans up for a long ride straight to hell. The Zombies crashed into the group and they began screaming and shouting in agony and pain. The zombies gnawed at their skin and bones, flesh crunched and the dirt was soaked in blood. Luci eventually caught back up before bursting into laughter as he watched the humans get eaten. After a while, Za couldn't contain himself and he too bursted into laughter. Job well done, and shit, it was the most entertaining thing he had done in this region.
