For the season of summer, the night was oddly cold. It was almost as if the gods themself were aware that something dark and horrible was bound to appear from within the shadows. Z'Aleel wore his usual getup; a dark cloak lined with purple silk stitching and a silk scarf to match around his head. Luci, who he had only met a few days prior, walked alongside him as the two transversed the city of Baska. Za was in for a surprise, considering he had no idea what was to come. All the small boy knew was that it was important and that could only mean a few things. Luci walked in silence as the fallen Nephilim hummed to the melodies of the winds breezes. The demon wasn't fond of the child. To him, Aleel was nothing more than a spoiled brat with no sense of self. He wasn't wrong.

The two eventually reached a small abandoned building deep within the wounds, clouded by darkness where no others would find themselves. It was the perfect place to conduct some not-so-righteous activities, yet Zael was hesitant to even step foot in the building. A big part of him could smell that something was not happy. Someone was not happy. To make matters worse, the entire building was warded from angels, light magic and sensory spells. Whatever was in this building truly didn't even want to be discovered. "Cut your palm, and place it onto the door." Luci said before magically whipping out a small blade. Of course. The place was warded off using a Bellan spell. The fee to enter was blood of the one who was invited. The child slowly took the blade before pressing it against his palm, slowly dragging it across to draw blood. The crimson liquid dripped onto the pavement.

The Nimulli glanced over at Luci one more time before placing his hand onto the door. Suddenly, a black seal appeared, with symbols he couldn't comprehend. A black light blasted from the door, harming nothing in the process. Then, the door creaked open by itself. Luci seemed over it already and nothing had even started. The cat-like creature led the way, entering first with a roll of his eyes. The room was darkened, only lit by the various candles around the place. It seemed like this place once housed someone. They were either dead or had moved on. Zael was curious, thus could not stop his eyes from wandering as he strolled behind his new companion. The young boy stopped in his tracks when he reached the living room...except it was more of a death room. Three lifeless bodies stretched out across the floor and that's when it became clear.

This was a ritual. Luci hadn't revealed it probably because he didn't want to make the Nimulli nervous. Alas, all of his attempts failed. As the white-haired Nephilim stood above the bodies, he began to feel fear. There was only two things that struck fear into his heart; failing the mission he was created to do and the mysterious entity that was his father- or at least someone akin. Luci began to chant words of a Bellan spell, one he had never heard before as the circle around the bodies ignited with a flame that quickly turned black. The building shook, causing the young boy to grab ahold of anything that was around him and suddenly, a Black, shadow-like entity emerged. It had about four eyes, each white that seemed to glare into everything and nothing at the same time. Z'Aleel stepped back. He trembled with fear. Luci stood still and faced the devil, bowing when he was finally fully summoned.

"Z'Aleel." The devil croaked in a raspy, unwelcoming tone. It's voice couldn't be described, but the summoner felt its vibrations rang throughout his entire body. "Y-yes..." Aleel said, glancing over at Luci who had finally stood with his hands behind his back. This entity was no demon. Not even a demon Lord could harbor this much evil energy. This was indeed a Devil, and from the looks of it, he was one of the stronger ones. A bunch of thoughts raced through the boys head. If Devils could indeed be summoned, then why couldn't they-

"The circle bounds me. It would take a seal like this around the entire earth to bring just one of us back and allow us to roam."

He could hear his thoughts too?! This power was on an entirely different level. As afraid as the teenage Nephilim had been, he was certain that this meeting wasn't because he was in trouble.

"You look well, young Nimulli. I just hope you survive this procedure...for all of our sakes. I don't have the luxury of time, so let us get straight to business, shall we?"

Aleel nodded and did nothing but listen. What else was there to do?

"Let me remind you that you are the Anti-Illumin. You are the first one we were able to successfully breed without dying beyond the age of six. Your purpose here is to open the gates of hell, bring us into this world, help us wipe out the Nephilims, conquer this world, and destroy Illumin once and for all. It is a lot, this I know. Yet, it is the greatest honor and it is your duty. Failing is not an option, do you understand?"

Aleel gulped before slowly nodding. He knew all of this, but hearing it from a real live devil was like being smacked with a sack of bricks. Luci glanced over at the boy he was ordered to look over. He could undoubtedly sense his fear. For Zael, this was the first time the demon had been so serious. Aleel gulped before slowly nodding. "We are working with the demons to ensure we have the means to accomplish these tasks when the time arises. Unfortunately, the Seraphims, their priests and the Nephilims have learned that you exist. It is your grace, passed down by your father, that links you to them. We initially thought that you would share most of his talents which allows hides him from all that is holy, but we were sourly mistaken. So, we must conduct this ritual. It will change you, but it will still be your fathers power within you. Think of it as your grace being entirely corrupted. Your father is just that strong. Not only is he able to pass down his Seraphim abilities, but his demonic abilities as well. Perhaps in the future you'll inherit his Devilish talents."

As moments passed, the Devil continued on eventually explaining the task at hand. Z'Aleel was given a mission tonight and he could not fail. He was required to find two people with mana of two different elements before bringing them back to this same spot. However, when he returned the place would be destroyed in flames. Only the bodies would remain. With all of this information in mind, the young Nimulli was sent off with Luci by his side.
