Magharedes' Runes


While traveling through this area, you begin to feel a strange sensation all over your body. As you look around to find the source of this feeling, you cannot seem to pinpoint its origins directly. Depending on where you stand, the feeling becomes either stronger or completely disappears. Using this as a guide, you eventually manage to find what has been trying to draw you in towards itself: Magharedes' Blood Rune. It is said that when all five Blood Runes are collected, the user can communicate directly with the entity to wish for something. Though, the collection comes in the form of tribute to the entity itself. Blood must be spilled. Still interested in becoming both predator and prey?

  • See Magharedes' Runes to learn more about the Blood Runes and the requirements to roll.

Conditions


  • Users may perform a post in the topic and roll once per 24 hours in an attempt to claim the Blood Rune until it has been claimed by someone.

  • Should the user roll higher than 50, they will acquire the Blood Rune and become ineligible to acquire another until the Blood Battles begin. This is when all five Blood Runes have been acquired through the rolls.

Finally they were in Oak. This was the first place they had found family and the first place they had realized that they were special. It had been a while since they came to Oak city. Unfortunately they weren't here for Odin or anyone else in Eternal Nightmare. Khalfani really couldn't care less about what they were up to right now. The Godsblood had their own goals and that included securing one of those special runes. They hadn't known anything about them until recently, but now that they did know they wouldn't give up on finding one. They would search the entire world if they had to to get their hands on such an item. Apparently the power they held within them couldn't be compared. However, for Khal, it didn't matter. They simply wanted it for a multitude of reasons. As they walked through oak city they felt a pulling energy once more. It was then that they knew they were close.

Erebus walked with long strides, his head peeking up. Lifting one of his appendages; he inspected his arm and the goosebumps it gave, there was this certain feeling... Perplexing him as he shifted around the woods, lifting rocks and punching down trees.

“Hm.”

His voice vocalized curiosity, as a faint red glow from the water took his attention off of the forest around him. He walked closer to the stream’s edge, and about four feet under the water’s surface he could see something. There was no way to tell what it was just yet, but if it was the source of this strange pull on his body, then he just had to have it. Erebus took a moment to breathe, and then thrusted his arm through the water and shuffled around pulling out rocks and tossing them behind his back until, hopefully. His hand would grasp the one burning with a blood-like crimson.

Back in Oak city, the place that whispered rumors of Eternal Nightmares growing power. Khalfani didn't care about the politics of the city, not right now. They were damn near obsessed with collecting one of these obsidian pieces and they didn't intend on stopping until they found one. Collecting all five would be marvelous, but they more so expected to use it for other purposes. Research, perhaps trade? Maybe they'd hold it and hide it forever so that nobody else could obtain the power hidden within each of the five pieces of obsidian. Who knew? All the prince knew was that these were special. So they roamed through the city, following that pulling feeling again. This was about their seventh attempt. For a hunter's point of view, this should have been fun. Alas, nothing was fun these days. Such was the price of being an Atenhotep. With a frown they approached a bush and bent over to feel what was behind it.

Emil had heard his brother had done something big and now he wanted in on it as he had heard rumors of falling stars around the country and he was going to go to one of the places and look for it and he was gonna do his best to find it out and he was gonna make his brother take him around to as many places as he can find. He walks up to the area that he was going to start his search and he was not going home till he finds one his pride will not allow him to back down not when his, brother was leaving him far in the dust and he was not going to give up. Emil walks up to the area and he starts digging around and looking at any of the stones that could be what he is looking for and he will not go back till it is in his hand.
