Ragnar got the word that another tournament was starting in the city he was in, which was another chance for him to gain some more money after buying the worlds most expensive belt from some guy. Apparently he stole this from another universe or something and brought it to this one? Ragnar didn't really understand nor did he really care all the much, it was going to help him hopefully make more money on his day to day adventures and quests and regain all of it's lost value. Another thing was that his hammer was stolen, taken from his room while he was out and about and no one seemed to have seen who took it. Maybe that guy he bought the belt from would know where it is, but that doesn't really matter at this point. Ragnar had a tournament to go win, and he would just have to do it with his fists.

Ragnar walked out of the hotel he was staying in, fully armored the blood red, a cloak of fur being held on by spikes, and the spikes topped with skulls, making him stand out more then his normal height. Ragnar turn his head and whistled into the air, and he knew that his mount was coming when he heard the sound of people screaming and the sound of buildings breaking. Eventually his mount did manage to show up successfully,

Ragnar's mount was a beast that was as big and wide as a water buffalo while being far heavier. The horn on his head was a single one, forming a T shape on it, though on top of the flat of that T were large spikes, where it appeared skulls had been placed. It's appeared to be closer to a massive dog in shape and size, it's mouth appeared to be big enough to bite a man's head off with room to spare, its teeth looked like short swords. From a distance color of the fur of the beast looked a dirty brass only as it got closer would people realize that it was not the color of the fur, it was armor. Sheets of Brass covered armor covered every inch of this beast and it didn't seem to slow it down at all in any way. The chains that were used to 'control' this beast was attached to a massive spiked collar around its neck. As the beast laid down next to it's master, small gaps in the armor showed something possibly more terrible. This beast had no skin, it appeared to be made of machinery and parts mixed together with a living beast.

As he rode through the town, he normally went down the same path and most people at this point knew well enough that they should just stay out of the center of the road if possible on the paths that Ragnar uses. Today was one of those good days where everyone seemed to remember, maybe it was because there was a Tournament today. Ragnar quickly managed to get to the Tournament without any issues, even the food carts were out of the way, before moving back to their proper place when Ragnar rode by. Ragnar managed to get to the Tournament, throwing himself off the saddle, before his mount went running off into the distance and disappearing into the distance, Ragnar this time without his hammer did feel out of place but he was just going to have to deal with it for now, it wasn't like he was in any real danger anyway.

Once he signed up he waited and he couldn't help but miss his old partner in crime Quilla, who apparently had gone missing recently or maybe she just moved while he wasn't paying attention. Maybe she managed to find something and she took the kid with her, but either way Ragnar was sad about losing that friendship but maybe she would turn back up again. Maybe not. He also thought back to the last person he did this was, Erebus he believed his name was, and while he appeared to be very strong Ragnar imagined he only got to see a fraction of that power, though he most likely saw all of Ragnar's. That was one of the disadvantages of being someone without Magic, as their is only so many tricks that you can pull out of your bag before running out of tricks while a mage, atleast in theory, could pull out an infinite amount of tricks. Always having a spells to counter everything, but that took time, money and experience to do that which to be fair, a vast majority of mages could never make it.

Eventually Ragnar was called to the tournament floor, and as he walked onto the floor he was fighting a person appeared to be some kind of unarmed fighter and he bowed to Ragnar. Apparently he didn't know Ragnar's reputation, or he didn't care. As the fight began, Ragnar fought defensively, as he wanted to see what his opponent would do but eventually Ragnar got bored of this and started to fight back. It only took a single scrap from Ragnar to send the man's body crumbling to the ground, at which point Ragnar kicked him in the face and he felt the spine snap like a twig. This fight was done and over with, as Ragnar walked off the stage he went back to his corner and began to think more.

Maybe there was a way to learn magic? Ragnar honestly didn't really know how Magic was even done, did you learn it or was it something you were born with? Well Ragnar didn't have to wait for long as it turns out his other opponent withdrew from the contest, along with everyone else as they appeared to realize that the possibility of fighting Ragnar was simply not worth the time nor the effort. Fair enough, as Ragnar went to the location to collect his winnings, he left and walked back home.
