Durability: 3x S-Rank.

Details


Description: The Fae's Presence has a long and sorted past being first created during the Great Fairy Purge, the staff became a tool that represented the suspension and punitive treatment that the once noble race experience. It later began as a beacon for rebellion and freedom when it was seized by Fairy Rebels that massacred their slavers and took back their lands. The creation of the staff remained a sore point for any aspiring Fae looking to become a Fairy as it is a constant reminder of what happened to their people when others sought out their powers for their own with their wings being ripped from their bodies and fused to the staff.

Drawbacks:
  • Close to Home: While possessing the Fae's Presence, the user will experience a minor Darkness Weakness and Darkness-based visual effects will impact them for one rank higher.

Effects


  • Nature's Aspect: Spells cast through the Fae's Presence regardless of whether they are an item or magic spell are considered Nature-based.
  • Reality is Truth: Spells cast through the Fae's Presence are resistant to the effects of Nullification causing them to be reduced by two ranks instead of negated entirely. When wielded by a Fae or Fairy, this effect causes offensive spells to only be reduced by one rank.

    Requirements: Fae's Presence
    Type: Defensive
    Element: Nature
    Range: 5 meters around self
    Cooldown: None
    Duration: Sustain
    Effect: The user may create living branches around them in a circle evenly around them approximately 5 meters away from them. The user can create up to 8 branches at a time, each possessing 1x A-Rank durability roughly 10 meters in length. Once cast these branches can not be moved from the ground however can manipulate themselves at spell speed. Each branch can block a physical attack regardless of its overall strength and will reform after two posts. Protection of one's Own can be re-cast only if all the Branches are destroyed or if the user deliberately cancels the spell.
