Chained Wolf (Good)

Yuurei and Renji were enjoying their day and soon enough something would come up. Daragast had found them, and he would approach the two of them. He knew Yuurei could handle this without a problem, so he was hoping he would do the job.

The dragon-like creature would approach the two of them without hesitating.

“Hello, you two, I’m happy to see you’re here. Do you think you can take on a quest? There is a wolf that was kept as a pet in Era. It finally killed its master and is now running around at night killing civilians in Era. Do you think you can take it out, so people will stop getting hurt and killed?” He asked Yuurei.

Yuurei figured this would happen, but at the same time, they were fine with taking on the job.

“Sure, that seems fine to me. I guess we will meet you by the gates when we’re done.” He said to Daragast as they had time before they hunted the wolf.

Yuurei

Yuurei and Renji would do whatever they wanted until night had fallen upon them. Now that, it was time for them to look for the wolf, they would start moving around the streets. They were trying to see if they could find it right away. They didn’t want anybody to get hurt, but they weren’t sure it was possible.

“It seems like a lot of weird things get loosed in Central Fiore. Why do you think that is Yuu?” He asked him.

Yuurei would keep looking as he was thinking of an answer to Renji’s question.

Yuurei wouldn’t find the wolf, so he would look at his friend instead.

“I think it’s because nothing happens in Central Fiore, so they get bored and start doing weird things here.” He said to Renji as he would continue to search for the wolf that was on the loose.

Yuurei was sure they would be able to find it, but they had to keep looking.

Renji would chuckle at the answer Yuurei had given him, but honestly, he wasn’t surprised. It seemed like the people in this region didn’t have many problems going on. That meant they didn’t know the true struggle within the other regions. That sucked, but what could they do about it. The Nephilim would keep searching through the area as he wasn’t having any luck in finding the damn wolf. Still, he knew the city was a nice size, so there were still a few places that he didn’t get to just yet. The berserker would continue with his search, and Renji was doing his best to help as well.

The two of them wouldn’t be able to find anything though as it would seem like the wolf was good at hiding or good at covering its tracks. Still, Yuurei wasn’t going to give up as he knew that he would be able to find the wolf soon.

Yuurei would continue his search for the wolf, and soon enough he would hear a howl and a scream coming from the distance. The Nephilim would move in the direction of the noise. He was running through the streets as he was hoping that he wasn’t too late on this. He wasn’t sure what was going on, but it would seem like this wolf was truly a menace and it attacked a certain part of Era. He would find himself looking into an alley and he would run through it. He would hear noises coming from the distance and when he approached the source, he would see that the wolf was feasting on the civilian that had probably screamed earlier.

The Nephilim would shake his head as he was too late, but he could stop the wolf from hurting people in the future. He would get into a fighting stance, and the wolf would soon notice that it was not alone.

The wolf would jump back as it saw Yuurei and it would howl at him. The Nephilim would look at it and it would seem like it was on guard. It didn’t look like it would listen to reasoning, which was sad. The wolf would run straight toward Yuurei and it would try to take a bite out of him. The berserker would dodge the attack without a problem. They were in a narrow area, but it wasn’t going to stop him. He would look at the wolf as it would turn to look at Yuurei. The wolf would howl as it would run straight to him once again.

The light mage would see this, and he figured that he had no other choice. He would watch the wolf lunge at him again, and he would move to the side. When he did that, he would look at the wolf and shake his head as he would punch it in the side.

Yuurei

Yuurei would take it out with one punch as he had made sure that the wolf wouldn’t continue to live through the trauma it was going through. He would shake his head as he would see the two bodies next to each other. He would leave the alley, and once that happen, he would make his way to the gates where he told Daragast to meet him. It wouldn’t take long for him to get here, and he would see the man was waiting for him.

He would explain the situation and that the Rune Knights should go pick up the dead bodies in the alley. Daragast would hear this and he would thank Yuurei for his help. He would take a bag of jewels out and he would hand it to him. Yuurei would take the jewels and he would thank the man before he looked at Renji and the two of them would go rest for the night.
