"Why do you seek our hearts?" The question made sense after what he was shown before, so she decided to answer honestly: "I seek to obtain more power, and for that I need the heart of warriors, courageous warriors who won't falter even in the face of absolute destruction."
The words earned a brief chuckle from the Lycan, to think he'd receive both a truthful answer and a compliment of one so much more powerful than him. "Then, will you seek to destroy the younglings of my pack as well?"
The words earned another curt nod from the cloaked figure. "As is your nature... Yet could I possibly parley with you?"
The question make the figure nod her head lightly in response once more. "Would you be willing to make an exception? Spare the younglings of my pack, in exchange for my heart."
The silence that followed was chilling, but he could have sworn he saw her smile underneath her hood. "The undamaged heart of a Alpha Lycan is quite valuable to me, so I will accept your offer." The Alpha nodded his head firmly, rising onto his full length as he raised a hand to his neck, tracing a nail along the fur covering it. "Very well... Then all I ask is that you sever my head with your strongest attack."
The Alpha knew all too well that resisting her was futile, that it would lead to his entire pack being wiped out. If his death could spare his pack that future... then....
The Lycan gazed firmly at the cloaked figure as she raised a hand toward the tip of her hood. "What is your name, Warrior?"
The words as the figure lowered her hood, revealing the white colored elf whose aura was pulsing with that unmistakable presence. "Glenn... Glenn of the Whitemane Pack."
Hearing these words he saw the cold expression of the elf turn into a softer smile again as she adopted a combative stance. "Ka..." he watched her arms move, her aura flaring violently and savagely, the mana gathering in her hands as she continued. "Me..." He knew all too well that even if he tried to attack her now, she would just repel his assault and kill him. Besides there was a reason why he had accepted death already.
"Ha..." The energy in her hands started to radiate, burning violently like her aura as her mysterious eyes gazed firmly into his own. "Me..." The Lycan was ready to embrace death, but not before... "And yours?" "Esperia..."
The words earned a genuine smile from the Lycan warrior. "Farewell, Destroyer Esperia..."
As the energy had reached its peak the woman thrust her hands forwards "HAAAA!!!!" The energy coursed in a condensed beam of energy right toward his head, cleanly disintegrating everything from above his shoulders and after she fired the beam she watched the body of the Lycan fall lifelessly onto the ground. "Farewell.... Glenn..."
She slowly stepped forward, stopping right in front of the headless body of the Lycan when something drew her attention: soft sobbing and growling mixed together.
