Underground Associate [quest]

Mishiko

Cross-tights, black shorts, red corset with a black gem in the middle of her breast. Her topaz eyes looked around as she was getting ready for her next mission. She was told to help some do-gooders to sell their stuff as they needed some information on a competitor. With that, she decided to get dressed for the part as the store she was working at today was called Spender's. It was a goth shop with a bunch of adult shenanigans within it. Her hair was up in a bun, and she continued to have her pink hair. Finally, she walked outside of her temporary home and towards the store.

She had to remember the client's name and who she was working with. Perhaps, she will get more information out of them. To make it less threatening, she did not take her scythe. She silently went past a few people as the area was silent.

Mishiko

People did not talk to her, nor did she talk to anyone else. She was known enough to where people didn't pay much attention to her due to how infamous she was. The woman wondered where this was going to go, but in a way she did not care what the people thought of her. Once she went inside the store the owner opened their arms to greet her. She did not wish to greet back as she was more into getting to work than anything.

He noticed this and introduced her to the person she was working with for the day, Gary. Her doll-like face gazed at Gary and wondered how strong he was. Will he give her a problem? She licked her lips and nodded to the owner who then said he had to leave to go to a business meeting. Quilla didn't reject anything and told him that he should go ahead and go.

She was finally stuck with Gary. Gary was a man who didn't have piercings and had the outfit of a rich kid in a while. His polo shirt was green, pants were khakis and shoes were professionally black and tied neatly. What the hell was this person doing working at a shop like this? She went ahead and pretended to work, organizing the clothes and then finally went to the register. Quilla cornered her eyes to see Gary was messing with his phone, texting some girl it looked like. "Some hotty?", she teased as she wondered innocently.

The guy blushed and she gave a fake smile that looked pretty good as he couldn't tell it was fake. He told her about the girl, how he was sleeping with her and then her parents found out about it. Such drama. Quilla asked him how long he has worked here and surprisingly he has worked here for a while.

Quilla boredly looked at him and then at some key that was under the register. She wondered where it belonged to. Gary had to take a piss, so she took this opportunity to take the key and hide it in her pocket. Once he got back, she decided to go to the doors in the hall behind the curtain to test them all. She sighed softly and saw that the key did not belong to any of the doors. A picture of some girl caught her eye though as it looked cricked. "This is triggering me..." she whispered coldly and put her hands on the edges of the frame to straighten it out. Due to her balancing issues, she accidentally dropped the picture frame and landed against her body.

It revealed a safe with a keyhole. Quietly, she put down the picture and grabbed the key from her pocket to put it into the keyhole.

She opened the safe and saw a bunch of papers. She suddenly heard something fall, instantly grabbing the papers, shutting the safe door, and putting back the picture to make it look like she never moved it. Her eyes frantically looked everywhere for a spot to hide the papers till her shift was over. She quietly powerwalked to the bathroom and hide the papers in the closet that is locked by the same set of keys. Swiftly, she left the bathroom and went back to Gary who was still on his phone.

Teens these days. She looked at the clock and waited as it was now her lunchtime. She went back into the bathroom and left the store by the backdoor. Quilla needed to get to the cafe run by the black market to meet up with her actual client, the big boys. She chuckled as her knock was answered with a rhythm.

Once she entered the cafe, she was escorted to the backroom where all the rich businessmen were. She was left alone with them as the door shut behind her. "You got them?", one of the men spoke after puffing on their cigar. Quilla tiredly looked at them and put down the papers in front of them onto the table. "Of course, what do you take me for?", she glared at them and they gulped and took the papers. She watched them look at the papers and waited for confirmation. It took a few minutes, "Well?", she wondered as they then put down the papers. They nodded and handed her the money as they got the plans for the next big break for Spender's.

Quilla didn't care for business, so she shrugged and went to the bar to get a drink and some food. It was her lunch break after all.

Mishiko

She went to the bar and ordered a few drinks and saw a businessman walk up to her from behind. Her innocent look got people trying with her as she was naturally innocent, that was until recently. The trip from Joya was a mistake, but it taught her lessons but also changed her for the worst depending on how one looked at it. She blew a strand of her hair away from her face as she waited for her drink. One businessman from the room earlier slid by her and ordered a drink. She ignored him and got her drink. She chugged it down as her heart felt hardened by the fact that Bai was gone. Soon enough Jin will leave her and so will everyone else. She needs to learn that she needs no one.

Finally, she went with her food back to Spender's to help the first client with the people.

She flipped her hair and put down the food in front of him and took her own food to sit on a chair to eat it. He thanked her with a surprise expression. She scoffed and told him to not think too much about it. She did not do it to be nice, it was more so he did not think any suspicious thoughts about her. She ate quietly while answering questions to the guests as they came and left. Once it was done and over with, the owner of the shop came by and told them that they can go home.

It was a pity that the client was a wholesome man, but she needed her money. Getting her reward from the client, she went to the other client to receive her reward from them too. Her eyes spotted someone in the alleyway as they had a suitcase. It was obviously them so she picked up her scythe from her hidden location and went to them. They both exchanged looks, papers and she was given her reward for selling them the information they wanted.
