Yuurei and Renji were now back home in the North. It had been a long time coming and honestly, they were both grateful to be back here. He had a lot of paperwork to catch up on, which was the first thing he was doing. The next thing was keeping track of the Runes. He had decided that it was time to finish that as well. He knew who had it and he would fight them and whoever won would be the one to get the Runes.

Throughout his entire journey, Yuurei was not able to get in contact with Kailani. It kind of bothered him that he couldn’t get into the guild, but it must have been for a reason. While he was looking through the paperwork, he would see a letter and it was covered in blood. He wasn’t sure who it was from, but he was pretty sure that it had come from Ansem or one of his minions. Still, he was clueless about what they could want with him. He didn’t show any signs of fighting toward them as of late, so this confused him.

He would open the letter he would read through it and one sentence flipped the young man off. He would get up from his chair and he would paste back and forth before swinging his fist into the wall. He was angry and it would cause Renji to jump into the air as he was wondering what had happened.

“We’re going to Wood Worthsea and killing all these damn vampires that are devoted to Ansem!” He shouted.

Yuurei was getting ready, but soon after someone would open his door and it would be his messenger.

“Boss, there are a bunch of vampires heading toward Rush Valley. We need to do something about it or people are going to get hurt.” He said to Yuurei.

Yuurei would shake in anger because he wanted to go and fight Ansem right away.

“I will head there right now. Have some men come as well, and reach out to Brone.” He said to him as he would burst through the window with his wings out.

He was not happy right now and someone was going to pay for what they had done. He wiped the tears from his eyes as he couldn't believe this, they had killed Kailani.

Kaito was in the Paradise guild hall as he was there visiting his brother and his family in the down time he had between missions when he hears a commotion and he looks out into the halls of the guild hall as he hears rumblings of monsters on there way to rush valley he looks back at his sisters wife and she nodded like she knew that he was going to ask permission to go and help with what ever was going on out there.

His niece and nephew wave good bye as he headed out the door and he started following the scent of the guild leader of the guild he was current standing in because if anyone knew what was going on it would be him as this was his turf so the rumors and back alley info would probably reach his ears at some point. Kaito knows that being in the north means that he is also on call to help Yuurei if he needs the help Revy is chasing after him trying to keep up. Kaito is moving fast cause he knows if he doesn't then he is going to lose the scent of Yuurei and then he would have no info to follow as he was an outsider so he didn't think anyone here would spill the info he would be looking for cause it might be more guild sensitive info.

Brone Heavyaxe was sleeping in his bed, taking an evening nap after a long shift of patrolling the region. Luckily with Geri, his wolf, he was now able to extend his patrol range to further distances. Though riding upon the back of the creature still tired hun out to which led him to his nap upon return.

The recent days have been relatively the same, which allowed Brone to keep to a steady schedule, and such a constant routine would cause the average guard to lower their guard , but Brone made sure to be tentative. So when a quick loud knock came to the window of his room, he quickly sat up in his bed and saw his two ravens, Huginn and Muninn, waiting for him to open the window and allow them in.

“There’s a group of vampires approaching Rush Valley” Huginn said as the dwarf opened the window to allow the ravens to fly onto the top of his door. Hearing the trouble, Brone’s adrenaline started to kick in, any other creatur me would have received a sluggish reaction from Brone, for he’s faced many dangerous foes, but a group of vampires meant that the situation may involve Ansem, one of the enemies that has given both Brone and Yuurei a loss.

“Someone is already on their way to report to Yuurei” Muninn said as Brone began to Don his armor set.

“Get Geri to meet me out front, we’re going to Rush Valley” the dwarf ordered as he sheathed his axes, “And keep track of Yuurei.”

With that, the ravens flew out the window as they were told. As Brone reached the main lobby of the guild hall, Huginn returned “Geri is ready for you.”

Muninn then arrived “Yuurei took flight and is already on his way to Rush Valley”.

Brone nodded, his expression stern and serious. Right before he mounted the wolf that waited him, a messenger came up to him but as the young man try to relay the info Yuurei gave him. It Brone waved him off, stating he already knew. Then he and his companions took off on wolf back.

Yuurei kept flying through the air with anger and sorrow filled within him. The tears even when he tried to stop them would continue falling. He couldn’t help it, the woman that had kept him from going mad, and turning into a heartless monster was killed. The reasoning for it was so simple and it was because she was acquainted with him and was there when they had met with Ansem that day. He blamed himself for her death but wanted someone to pay for it more than anything.

The vampires loyal to Ansem would be enough and he would see to it that the battlefield would be drenched in their blood. This was the first time Renji had seen Yuurei crying; hell, he didn’t know what to say to his friend, but he knew things weren’t going to go well.

The berserker would see a militia of vampires led by one man. It would seem like they are being led by one vampire. He would crash down to the ground as he would stand in front of them all. The group of vampires would take out their swords and readied themselves for a fight. The way this man had dropped in on them had shown he was hostile.

Yuurei would look at them all and Bai Jun would smile at Yuurei as it seemed like the elf boy had finally arrived.

“It seems the Guild Master has arrived as Zade has predicted would happen. It is an honor for me to take your life as Ansem did before me Yuurei. You are brave enough to come alone, but could you take us all on your?” He asked him as he would start transforming.

Yuurei would see this as he would crack his neck and Renji would open his bag and the items would fall on Yuurei. His tears never stopped but were now hidden by the helmet he wore.

“You don’t seem to know what you’ve done.” He said emotionless as he was ready to fight everyone in front of him.

Kaito ties his hair back as he was running cause if it was a fight then he would not have anytime to ready himself if he didn't now. Kaito just hopes that he can make it in time to be of some use if they in the end need this wanderer's help with this attack force as Yuurei had said that if he needed him he would call upon him but he hadn't been called on more he invited himself to the scene of the trouble he hopes that Yuurei won't hate him for stealing a bit of the spot light. Kaito makes it on the scene soon after and he sees Yuurei giving what Kaito would guess was a death glare at the leader of the group but Kaito could smell tears from some where near by he guesses that maybe someone near by was scared of this attacking force. "Seems like I got here at the right time and I even made it before the fight started!" He cracks his knuckles and is ready to suit up for this fight.

Kaito snaps his fingers and Revy opens her bag and Kaito is covered in his gear which sends out an aura that seemed to weaken those he did not see as an ally of himself and he sees the forces shutter a little but he does not see the leader even show an ounce of worry about this which means that this person in front of them was probably here for business and probably only sees Kaito as an ant compared to the other man that he had been looking at. Kaito wondered who else will be joining on their side in this fight not saying that Kaito and Yuurei couldn't handle this but seemed like a waste of a team building exercise for Paradise Dawn if there wasn't at least three people here rather it was someone of Paradise Dawn or not but usually during times like this the hero dwarf was usually here mighty axe raised to the sky and the faint smell of the ale and food of the night before on him rather he knew that last part or not Kaito had no idea.

The night was young and the moon was a waxing crescent above the battlefield as Brone rode in on Geri’s back. He spotted the golden glistening armor donned upon the angelic figure; easily he could spot Yuurei from far. Muninn had guided Brone and Geri towards where the vampires were spotted while Huginn flew on ahead to keep track of the moving vampiric force and soon enough, the Raven returned.

“Yuurei and Kaito both arrived” Huginn said as the bird glided along side the running wolf.

“Remember that you’ve all grown since the last time you’ve faced vampires” Muninn glided along the other side.

“Though I heard the red hair vampire mention the names “Zade” and “Ansem”, so these aren’t regular vampires” Huginn added; though the Raven was very straight forward and blunt, Brone appreciated it, now he knew to be cautious and not take these foes lightly.

As they arrived on the battlefield, they could spot their comrades opposing the enemy force. The only source of light was Yuurei’s divine form and what little light the crescent moon provided, but it wasn’t a problem for the dwarf, given his dark vision, he was not at a disadvantage.

Brone dismounted as Geri came to a stop between Yuurei and Kaito. The dwarf slipped on his blue helmet as he eyed the armor of his own companions, “Can’t you guys carry my armor too?” He asked the ravens.

“What are we, carrier pigeons?” Huginn said before both ravens flew off to the night sky, laughing, their caws echoing the battlefield, foreshadowing death upon the area.

Brone drew his golden axe and golden shield to match his brilliant golden armor, not his normal starting equipment , but he needed to make sure he wasn’t going to make any mistakes.

Yuurei would see the two men that had joined the fight, and it would seem like he wasn’t going to be alone in this. It didn’t matter to him right now. Of course, he was appreciative that they were here, but his heart was shattered and mourning at the moment. He heard the man’s words, and he could tell it was him who he wanted. Bai Jun could see that this wasn’t going to be easy, but he felt that it would be possible to take them out if his men wore down two of them throughout the time, he fought one of them.

“Alright enjoy your meal for the day, we have more to take on when we get to Rush Valley.” He said to the vampires as they would start running to the trio.

Bai Jun wasn’t sure who would be the first one to attack him, but he would use his dark magic to go invisible. In the midst of the night, they wouldn’t be able to see him. Still, Yuurei would make his way to where the man was. He would fly above the vampires below him and he would feel the air vibration of the invisible vampire to his right.

Bai Jun would notice that Yuurei was looking in his direction, which surprised him. He would leap back and shoot out dark arrows at Yuurei. The Nephilim would feel the danger coming to him and he would avoid a few of it before getting hit by two arrows. He would jerk back from the impact, but he knew that his necklace worked fine. He would move to where he felt the movement and vibration of the vampire and he would swing at the man. He would dodge the attack of the man in front of him. It was close, but he had to be on his toes it seems.

This man was able to see him somehow and he was quick with those wings. Yuurei wanted to speak, but he was speechless, and he wanted to tell Kaito and Brone as they had known Kailani for a long time.

Kaito sees the man vanish and he taps the side of his temple giving him mana vision so he can see the invisible vampire and his movements Kaito's eyes are shut but he can still see all of the vampires that were about to start to attack them as Kaito was human and lacked night vision he had to adapt and so he made a vision that made him able to see people and the spells they cast at him even if they are invisible to normal eyes. He can see that this is Yuurei's boss fight so he turns to Brone and he speaks. "What do you say we give them one hell of a show?"

Kaito didn't wait for a reply from the dwarf, just transformed and pointed his finger toward the hoard of vampires that were coming in to attack them in smaller groups of ten and a beam fired from his finger going through ten of them putting them on their asses and their swords and anything they were wearing on them as armor or accessories broke leaving them armor less and unarmed. He then pushed off leaning in the direction of them and without drawing his sword and his hands now in his pockets Kaito starts kicking, flipping and spinning as this was more on the level of child's play compared to other things they had faced. Though he hadn't been able to figure why Yuurei had been so worked up. The vampires seem to want to get a piece of him but unlucky for them he is a bit more tricky to nail down then that.

The air went cold due to the blue helm upon Brone's head, enough to cause the breath of him, Yuurei, and Kaito to become visible, but the vampires that stood opposing them didn't have such breath. The dwarf had learned more about the creatures after his initial encounter with them; they were undead and need not to breath. To actually witness this gave Brone the desire to put the walking dead back into their coffins for good.

As the lead vampire vanished from sight, Yuurei made his move, then the rest of the vampires went into motion. Kaito made a comment that put a smile on his face, "Aye, a show indeed, then we'll drop the curtain hard on them!" Brone got into fighting stance, digging his boots into the ground as Kaito released magical beams that ripped through the terrain and the vampires. Some vampires suddenly appeared out of nowhere, seeming to have been hit by the beam.

Brone peered all about, trying to keep an eye on any vampires that were nearing him, so he waited until could select which would be his first target, but suddenly, his back was hit as if claws had raked against his golden armor, leaving a a scar upon the beautiful metal. The dwarf heard a hiss and saw drops of blood hit the ground. Nothing was behind him, or so he thought; his skill as a God of War allowed him to be fully aware of what is directly around him, so it was indeed a surprise he was struck by something that wasn't there, but when he heard the hiss and saw the drop of blood, he realized the enemies were invisible.

"They can go invisible!" he shouted as he raised his golden axe into the air before bringing it down upon the ground, causing an explosion of ice to then create a blizzard within a dome.

The snow and ice whipped up like someone had roughly shaken up a snow-globe. When Brone noticed ice was forming within the air as if something was there, he quickly switched his shield to his green axe and swung the weapon. As the blade hit the area where the frozen ice was forming, a vampire appeared in the blink of an eye, the blade imbedded in his side before being sent flying out of the globe. Now the dwarf had a tactic.

Bai Jun wasn’t sure what it was, but he could feel that he was being watched by the man he was fighting. The Nephilim could feel the vibration and knew where this guy was. Still, he couldn’t see his body or anything like that, so what he was doing was attacking the blind. He would move to Bai Jun without hesitation, and he would launch an axe kick at the man.

Bai Jun would see how quick and almost precise that attack was, and he was able to dodge it if he wasn’t just a bit off. The vampire understood how he was able to defeat the other low-ranking officers before him. Still, he wanted to beat Yuurei even though his goal was to be a mere distraction. A thing Zade had said, which broke his heart to hear that man think of him like that.

Still, his loyalty was to Ansem and he knew his vampire lord wanted him to be useful. Bai Jun would make sure that he was safely away from Yuurei’s close-range abilities. That was when he launched a black ball of darkness toward Yuurei. The Nephilim would sense the danger coming close to him and he would dodge it.

At the same time, he was dodging it, Yuurei had his hand straight out and a magic circle would appear before a second magic circle would appear from above. It was then it would come flying down to the ground. Bai Jun would dodge the first few and then he would scream in pain at one of the arrows hitting him on his shoulder. He would look over to Yuurei and he would dodge the other arrows that were coming down.

Yuurei would push straight into where he had seen his arrow hit and he would try to go for another attack. Of course, Bai Jun was doing his best not to get hit by Yuurei.

“You think hiding like that from me, will do you any good? You’re going to meet your end tonight.” He said to the vampire.

Kaito smirks and he spin kicks to finish off the last of the first group of vampires that he had weakened and he snaps his fingers toward a location and the next group of vampires appeared as they were squeezed between dimensions like they are under glass pressed against it. Kaito smirked and then speaks. "You should be honored as you are the first victims of this spell I bet it doesn't feel very comfortable." Kaito takes aim again with his finger and the vampires that he had captured are struggling very hard trying to get free of their binds and look to be panicking as it seemed that they understood that they should have brought a bigger force to fight them as they were small compared to Yuurei that is like a titian that towers above them and Kaito wasn't a slouch either even if he is probably the weakest of the team that they are currently fighting.

A dragons roar rings out from above as a portal rips open and a dazzling dimensional High-dragon energy blast bursts forth from the portal down upon them the vampires screaming in fear as they heard a dragon. Kaito knows that was a bit of a weaker spell but it will soften them up for when he goes into fight them as they more than likely get loose of their bindings.

The several other invisible vampires were being coated in snow and ice; not only was it interfering with their stealth, but the constant cold was harmful, so they turned about and ran out of the stable globe that contained the miniature blizzard, though one of the vampires didn't notice the dwarf had followed before him. Given part of the vampire was coated in snow, Brone could spot him easily and the next thing the vampire knew, his head had been severed from his body and allowed to tumble on the floor as the rest of his body became visible again. The blizzard then vanished entirely.

The other vampires ran about, darting here and there while trying to brush off the snow and ice that gave away their positions. Something lit up from the corner of his eye; Brone turned to see from above a shower of golden arrows fell. Though he knew this was his guild master's spell, the magical arrows didn't discriminate on who it fell upon. The dwarf quickly raised his shield and used it as an umbrella as he ran out of the way; a number of golden arrows of light made thuds as they hit the indestructible shield.

After running several meters, Brone turned about to see he had finally made it clear of the shower of arrows, though a few arrows were stuck to his golden shoulder pads, "Close call" he said. Then a roar from above caught his attention. He looked up to see a tear in the sky opened up and a blast of energy shot down upon the area he was standing. Once again he raised his shield to brace against the attack. As the dwarf ran, the shield jerked downward onto him, though the attack wasn't strong enough to slam him into the ground, he could feel the dimensional warping effects, his vision slightly blurring, reminding him of when Kaito took him through the dimensional in-between. But eventually, Brone broke free from the area of damage; pieces of his cracked armor slowly levitated off his person before vanishing entirely into another dimension.

“If you think you can beat me, then actually hit me.” He said as he was trying to taunt Yuurei.

Yuurei was pissed as it was, and he didn’t care what this guy had said. He was going to try anyway. Bai Jun had known one thing as he was a decoy brigade, and the real harm was being done somewhere else as they fought.

Yuurei would feel the vibration on where he was, and he would make his way straight to him. He would swing his left hand at the invisible vampire, but Bai Jun would barely dodge the attack. He would move back as he was flying, and he would shoot out a darkness beam straight at Yuurei. He would see a beam of darkness coming straight to him, and he would punch it with his left hand.

This would cause the spell to disperse right in front of him and he would crack his neck as he wasn’t happy with him trying that.

“You can’t even touch me, but I got you right now.” He said to Bai Jun.

Yuurei would move closer to Bai Jun as he was still within ten meters of him and when he knew that he was close to him, he would stretch his arm two meters from where he stood. Bai Jun’s eyes widen when he saw the punch coming to him so quickly. He was more surprised that Yuurei’s arm could stretch that far and he would be hit.

He would gasp for air as he didn’t know what was going on, but he was losing consciousness just from that one hit. The Nephilim’s gauntlet was made of light and his eyes even if he couldn’t see him made the man weaker to Yuurei. That with all Yuurei’s strength was enough to take him out in one hit.

Yuurei would see the vampire appear now as he was falling to the ground, and he would move straight to him and he would stomp him into the ground. Yuurei would get on top of the dead vampire, and he would start punching him repeatedly making sure he couldn’t get it ever again.

“WHY HER!? OUT OF EVERYONE YOU WENT AFTER HER!” He shouted in tears the entire time.

Kaito saw that he had accidently caught Brone in the AoE and he covers his own mouth as that was not meant to happen, he now sees that he had gotten to caught up in fighting that he forgot to watch out for his team mate. Kaito rubs the back of his head and he laughs nervously. "My bad Brone I got carried away." He runs forward to keep taking on the Vampires to make sure that none of the ones that were on his side of the fight were left standing and he looked over to Brone to see if he had anymore that he needed any help with handling but his eye was caught more by Yuurei's arm stretching out toward where he sees the vampire in the air with his mana vision getting his clean knock out and Kaito wondered why Yuurei was coming in so hot toward the mans falling body, and he watches the man start to smash the vampires body into the ground and is screaming something.

Kaito gets closer to the man and he looks at him and he is unsure if he should really interrupt his friend but he had to know why the man was so upset for cause Kaito had just come in here pretty much blind and just here to help defend the city he didn't have any of the bigger details that he might have been needing to know what the bigger picture in all of this was as he hadn't really known much if at all anything about the vampires that Yuurei was warring with, just that he had just ended up in the middle of this fight, he guesses maybe Yuurei will let him know what was going on or maybe not.

He figures he has to do this and ask Yuurei why he was acting like this as this was sort of out of character for how Kaito knew him."Uhhh Yuurei are you okay? What is going on that you are making a vampire sauce chunky style?" He stayed on guard just in case Yuurei was to turn on him as well in his blind rage and not realize who he was, Kaito knows that sometimes dealing with those in a blind hatred often are not seeing in any other color than red and Yuurei seemed to be seeing this red that would cloud his mind and the choices he was to probably make Kaito maybe not look like a friend in that moment and he needed to make sure he was not caught off guard.

The blast of dimensional energy had stopped. Brone then lowered his shield, albeit slowly with caution. Kaito then apologized and the dwarf replied with a chuckle, “Don’t worry, lad” Brone then knocked on his shield with the blade of his axe, “This thing ain’t gonna break so easily” there wasn’t a single scratch on the shield, though there were scuff marks but other than that, it held together extremely well.

As Brone looked about the area to find any other vampires, the sound of Yuurei’s cry drew his attention. Though Kaito was already making his way over to the guild leader, the dwarf was curious of what could be troubling his friend, so he followed the draconic mage.

Yuurei was pummeling the unresponsive body of the red faired vampire, with how upset he seemed, Brone wanted to ask his friend if he was alright, though Kaito had beaten him to the question. Not only that but the faintest movement directly behind the dwarf had caused him to immediately spin around, his axe cutting through the air and in the next moment, a vampire stood where the axe had swung, though his head had been cut off by the golden axe.

“Tend to Yuurei if need be” Brone told Kaito as he turned away from them to view the immediate area, hoping there were no vampires left or if there were, he would catch as quickly as possible.

Yuurei would continue beating up the vampire in front of him, and he would soon hear the voice of Kaito. It would stop him from punching the vampire as he would look over to Kaito. He wasn’t angry that he had asked him a question but realized that he never told them. They didn’t know what was up and they didn’t know about the news that he had gotten. He would take off his helmet and he would look at Kaito and Brone who seemed to have been busy making sure nothing happened to them.

“They killed Kailani.” He said to Kaito and Brone as he continued to cry.

“I got a letter and they said they killed her. I don’t know what they did to Nimbus, but I don’t know if he lived through it.” He said to them as he would continue crying.

While he had said that to them he would let them take that in as he would look at them. It wouldn’t take long, but someone would approach them. Yuurei would look over at them as he wondered who would be foolish to come to attack them right now. Still, he would notice that it was a guild member and it would seem like they had information for them.

“Sorry to interrupt the mess that’s around here. There are reports of vampires marching through Sigmundir Passes. I’m assuming they are trying to get to the guild, but I’m not sure sir.” He said Yuurei.

Yuurei would sigh as it seemed like his job wasn’t done, but he wasn’t going to let anybody off the hook this time around. The Nephilim would get off the vampire who was clearly gone for good. He would shake his head as he looked at the two of them. Renji was in disbelief when he heard this as he didn’t know this entire time that Kailani was dead. He hoped that it wasn’t the same for Nimbus it couldn’t be.

“Thank you for the information. I will make sure that none of them leave out of there alive. Let’s go.” He said to the duo behind him.

Kaito watched the man stop beating the vampire into a dirty blood puddle and when the man faced him while removing the helmet he wore Kaito got pale as a sheet and the words that came from his mouth were the ones that he had feared that he would hear come from them and he knew now that he should have told Yuurei about that feeling he had and Kaito's skin started to scale over, Kaito was trying to control himself but he was so very frustrated with himself and the fact that he had said nothing and Kaito and his body start to glow bright then he fired off mass of dimensional energy off into the sky to just release some of the feels that he felt. Kaito blames himself for this as this might be an effect of his curse for those that dared to grow closer to him in the love department, this was his fault in his head.

Revy hurries back to Kaito and she hugs onto his leg and she looks up and him but his face looks cold and broken this was something she thought that once he had said in that strange area he might of already come to terms with but she can tell that wasn't right that he clearly had not been ready to take that news she is worried about Nimbus but she has a feeling that he is okay and that they will see him again soon but for now she needed to make sure Kaito didn't sink off the deep end and just start tearing apart the north in his anger and his feelings.

Kaito looks at the person that Yuurei had been staring at someone and he wondered what that person had to say Kaito was still in his transformed state at this point so he probably looked intimating as hell to anyone getting close to them it seemed that there was more info of another attack coming in the north and Yuurei turned and told them that they needed to go and take care of it and leave none of them alive and in his current mindset Kaito had no want to hold back just tear out the hearts of the people that dared to kill off what might have been his only chance at happiness and to find someone that understood him and just just get scared of him or misunderstand him.

Revy gets ready as they had started to walk off to go to the next battle field and she gives out snacks to the three and then Kaito starts moving and he was not going to waste a second of this moment and this building power and anger in his soul and his body this was going to be a bloody war for the north in Kailani's honor.

Brone's eyes were focused, darting back and forth along the battlefield that was now littered with the corpses of the dead, a redundancy, but the dwarf had always found the walking dead, vampire or zombies, as a redundancy to life. Then he heard Yuurei spoke of Kailani's death, which immediately drew his attention to his weeping friend. The tears became more noticeable now to the dwarf. The sound of battle was gone, but it was now replaced by the expression of sorrow and anger from Yuurei and Kaito. The sky seem to darken, even in this deep evening.

Even Yuurei and Kaito were clearly distressed, Brone turned away, looking onward, as if he was still keeping a lookout for creeping vampires, though truthfully, the dwarf was indeed feeling the sorrow of the sudden news, but what could he do but continue to stand?

His father had taught him that in battle, there may well be times when a friend will fall, even fall before him, but it would be very important to keep one's wits about them, especially in the middle of the battle, otherwise other allies will fall because of one's loss of control. Yuurei and Kaito were mourning the death of their friend, and friend that Brone had known for a few years now, one of his first friends outside of the mountain, but he couldn't let his guard down; there may be more vampires waiting to strike and Brone needed to make sure that he could protect his friends. He will mourn too, he knew he will, for he wanted to mourn and expression his anger, especially to those damned undead vampires, but he needed to keep his composure for that moment, so he promised himself that he would mourn later when all is safe and quiet.

Bits of light flickered above, mimicking lightning, but Brone knew it was because of the dimensional energy emitting from Kaito's emotions. The dwarf stood like a guard, silently, staring off... though a single tear would begin to gather at his eyes. He shall mourn later when all is said and done.
