Details

Description: Clarent is a 1,4m long sword adorned with a blood red hilt and decoration of matching colour.

History: The most famous Caelese myth tells of a great king who forged the modern nation of Caelum, forming the state from which it descends. That King's story was filled with glory and many tragedies that survived him, chief among which being the tale of his inbred son, born to his own sister in her quest to usurp the throne from her brother. The King's son idolized him and became his Knight, but that worship turned to hatred as he revealed his heritage and was rejected by his father. That son became known as the Knight of Betrayal, rebelled against his father wielding this very blade, whose power became forever tainted with rage and hatred, a weapon of rebellion against one's Lord.

The user then swings the sword, firing a large blast that spreads out in an AOE cone up to 16 meters wide at maximum range, dealing damage to anything caught in its path. The blast deals S-rank damage normally, but deals one rank higher in damage against foes with higher reputation than the user.
