The Temperance Tarot: Yuurei Empty Sun Feb 26, 2023 8:16 pm

Yuurei

Yuurei thought about two places to train at. One of them was a place he was familiar with and the other was a place that he had never been to before. He figured he had conquered one of them several times, so he decided to go with the other. This place was scary and fill with mystery; there was immense heat in this place and it was hard for a lot of people to be in this area. The uncontrollable mana within the area created a hard-to-breathe area. The Seraphim wasn’t alone either, he had arrived with Renji in this place as the two of them would arrive at the location. When they got there, the area around them would darken. It was crazy how that had happened.

He was sure it was still daytime, but for some reason, the smoke, fire, temperature, and mana in this place created a darkened theme surrounding them.

Yuurei

The hunter was wearing absolutely nothing except some shorts. He had changed his outfit with his pocket dimension as he was making sure that he fit the theme of the area. If he would have worn more clothes he would have died. Renji wasn’t wearing anything, but his fur would cause him to sweat. They were moving throughout the place and Renji would look at Yuurei.

“This place is too hot Yuu why are we here?” He asked him wondering what he would say.

Yuurei would hear him, and he would shake his head.

“I came here to train. I figured I would see how this place would affect my body. This would be perfect for me for the battle to come, don’t you think?” He asked Renji wondering what he would say.

Renji was surprised to hear these words and he didn’t think Yuurei needed any more training.

“You’re ready all-powerful, do you really need any more training?” He asked Yuurei.

Yuurei

Yuurei would hear this as they walked through the heat and the sweat was running down them.

“You can never know who comes after us Renji. I just want to make sure that nobody would dare mess with Paradise Dawn. I’m pretty sure that’s how it already is, but yeah.” He said as he would continue walking around.

Renji would shake his head, but he understood why Yuurei was worried. They had been attacked before, and even though he won, he could see that his friend felt that it could have gone either way.

The walk around Fieros Girdle was extreme, and it was not a place where he wanted to live in. Still, he figured that if they had overcome this, then it would be for the best.

The two of them would move around the place though and they could see that there weren’t any human living things around this place.

Yuurei

He was looking around at what to do, and there was one thing that had piqued his interest more than anything here. There was a volcano that was around, and it was far from them. Still, if they wanted to gain anything from training it would be climbing that thing. He had a smile on his face as he looked over at Renji.

“Okay, I know what to do Renji. We’re going to climb that volcano right there. We just need to get there is all.” He said with a smile on his face.

Renji would look over at it and his jaw would drop, his eyes would widen and he would just look at Yuurei in disbelief. He couldn’t believe that his friend would have them do such a thing.

“Why do we have to do something like this?” He asked him wondering what he would say.

Yuurei chuckled with a smile on his face as he looked at him.

“You said I’m too strong, so to be honest do anything to get me stronger, I would have to do something extreme don’t you think?” He asked Renji.

The Exceed would shake his head when he heard this. He knew that Yuurei was right, but he didn’t want to really agree with him.

“Whatever, but I’m not climbing that. I will be on your back the entire time, so don’t get angry.” He said to Yuurei.

He was fine with that, and now that this talk was out of the way it was time. He would start making his way to the volcano that was probably the monument of this entire place. He wondered what struggle he would find there or even on his journey over there.

The road was hot and that was something that they would have to overcome. If they were going to work within the magma chamber that Brone had found, then he would have to be able to do this.

Yuurei

Yuurei’s travel with Renji seemed to be a normal one. He was a bit confused that there was nothing that lived in this place. There had to be something or someone who had overcome these harsh conditions. The walking continued, but soon it would come to a stop. The ground would start to shake, and the danger that Yuurei felt around him was enormous. What the hell was going on right now? He would look over to Renji as the young Exceed would rush to Yuurei without hesitating. The Seraphim would grab his best friend and he would move out of the way.

He knew where the danger was coming from, and he wanted to avoid it. A huge eruption would be let out from the ground and he would see lava coming from the ground. His eyes widen as if that was dangerous, but the danger didn’t stop there. No, another eruption would occur and this one was under them.

Yuurei would avoid this one as well, and soon enough he would catch a glimpse of what was doing it. There was a monster jumping out and into the ground. It was quick on whatever it moved with. Renji was confused about what was happening and it made him worry. He would just switch things into gear as his armor would appear on his body. It was just that, but his helmet would find itself on him as well. He would shake his head as he would wait for something to happen and it would. The ground underneath him would shake again, and he was ready this time and he would stand there. Renji was looking at his friend confused, but the ground would open it up.

Yuurei would have his shield appear on his left hand as he was blocking the attacks that were coming at him all at once. He was pushed into the air though, and he was fine with that as he finally caught a glimpse of the oversize magma snake in front of him.

Yuurei

“See, nothing to worry about Renji. It seems like we got ourselves a big one here. Still, let’s see how much pain it can take all at once.” He said this to his friend as he was thinking about what weapon to use on this monster.

His armor would kick in though and a surge of arcane energy would spread from him and to the magma snake. The creature would roar from the pain, but it was not enough to take him out. The Seraphim had figured that a while ago, so he decided to take out something that would give him the mana that he had just lost. His Samehada would appear in his right hand and at the same time Yuurei found his arm stretching out and to the snake in front of him. The sharp edges of the sword would rub against the snake causing it to pain that it had never felt before.

Yuurei

Yuurei would watch the snake fall limp to the side as the pain was too much for it. He would also feel his mana coming back to him as if he didn’t lose anything. It was amazing to know that he had a weapon that could do something like this without a problem. He felt his energy come back, but it was still too hot for all of this. When he thought he was done another attack would appear. This time it would be behind him and he would turn just in time to block it with the shield.

He would be pushed back by the attack though and he couldn’t believe there were more things attacking him. Renji was confused about what was going on but figured that Yuurei would be able to take care of the situation he was in right now.

“That’s a lot of them coming straight for us. I don’t know what they are, but it’s time to take them all out.” He said to Renji.

Yuurei

It was then he would squint his eyes and he would shoot out a photon blast that was sent flying straight to the creatures that were coming for vengeance. It was then that they would see a huge blast coming straight for them, and when they tried to dodge it, they would notice it was too late. It would take them all out as they weren’t up to par with the snake that he had taken out.

“Let’s keep it moving. Any other creature that saw what I did, won’t be dumb enough to attack us now.” He said to Renji.

He was sweating a lot as he was breathing hard, but he kept pushing forward. He didn’t have time to waste and he figured once they made it to the top things would be different for him.

“After you, you’re doing all the work. I’m just here for the ride.” He said to Yuurei as he waited for him to be on his way.

Yuurei

Yuurei would start walking to the volcano with Renji on his shoulder. He wouldn’t be bothered by the creatures that were around their immediate area. They had seen what had happened. They could tell that the man walking around their home was a monster. The Seraphim would keep moving until he found himself at the base of the volcano. He wasn’t going to start climbing with his bare hands. If he did that, then he would have a huge chance of harming himself, which was something he didn’t want to do.

He would look at the volcano with a smile on his face as if this was his time to shine. He would summon his Yin and Yang Gauntlets and he would have a smile on his face. These gauntlets would do just fine with him climbing to the top. He would keep his berserker suit on as he would find a foothold.

Yuurei

Yuurei would start his ascend as he was moving up the volcano slowly. He could feel the heat even with the gauntlets, but they were doing their job of protecting his hands. That was the best thing coming out of this. He would move through the side of the volcano as he was trying his best to endure the pain and heat from this. Still, while he was doing this, he would see that there was nothing stopping them from climbing which was a good thing.

It was a hard climb though and he was doing his best not to faint from the heat. He was a strong person and he felt like he had to overcome this as well. This was the next thing on his list, and when he accomplished this, then he knew that he would be a different person. Those angels would come again, and he knew he would have been scarier and stronger than he currently was right now.

Yuurei

His climb was going as smoothly as it could go with the conditions, he was in. He would move up and around the area as he was making sure to get a good grip. That was when he would grab a hold of one of the holdings, and it would break off. Renji would hold on tight with Yuurei, clawing into the young man’s shoulder. The hunter would wince in pain feeling this, but he understood why he had done this. Still, Yuurei held on as he would shake his head as he expected something like this to happen. He would take a deep breath as he was holding on with one hand. He was strong enough to do this without a problem and after a few seconds of gathering himself, he would find a place for his hand to latch onto.

“That was a close one don’t you think?” He asked Renji wondering what he would say.

Yuurei

Renji would hear this and he would chuckle a bit when he heard Yuurei’s words. He would loosen his grip when he saw what he had done, and he would relax.

“Yeah it was. Sorry about that, I didn’t mean to squeeze as hard as I did.” He said to Yuurei.

Yuurei would smile at him as if he was fine with it. He would keep ascending now as he was going to get to the top sooner or later. His body was drenched in sweat this time and even though he was stronger than most, he felt the fatigue. The hunter knew though that he had to keep pushing. The fall below was great, but he knew his life wasn’t in danger. His cape wouldn’t allow that to happen no matter the situation. He would keep going though as he didn’t have time to waste right now.

He would move through the volcano and while doing this he would feel the temperature rising as he was reaching the top. He didn’t understand that part, but he figured he would find out when he reached the top.

Yuurei



The Seraphim would continue his trip up the volcano with his gauntlets burning more than they did when he started this. He looked at his gear while he was going up the mountains and he couldn’t believe that they were still in condition. The monsters around the areas started to take notice though and they would make his journey to the top harder now. He could feel the danger coming from different directions, but there was one closer to him than anything else. He would look to his right and he would sigh with disappointment as he didn’t think that would happen. He looked up to his left and he would see a spot for him to jump to.

He would push onto his foot holding and he would leap into the air in that direction. At the same time, he did that something would appear from around the volcano trying to take a bite out of him, but would miss.

Yuurei

Yuurei would keep moving up as he didn’t have time to fight this thing. If he had used his cape to fly, he would have started descending slowly. His cape couldn’t take this altitude for flying. The arcane mage would move up the volcano without hesitating and he would hear the roars of different creatures around him. It would seem like they didn’t know what he had done to their friends, but they would soon. He could see that he was reaching the top of the volcano soon, and he would push through it.

He knew taking one of them out would bring the others to leave him alone. He kept moving up and soon enough he would find himself on top of the volcano. When he got there, he would see that there wasn’t a lot of space for him to move around. He would look down into the volcano and he could see that there was a creature sleeping within it. He wasn’t going to try and wake it up and that was for sure.

Yuurei

Yuurei would notice that the creature that had attacked him earlier would make its appearance once again. It looked furious that he was around his territory, but at the same time, it looked happy that it was about to have its next meal. Yuurei was going to upset his stomach and his life with what he was planning on doing next.

He would look at his gauntlets as they had done their job for the day. He was going to use something else. The Seraphim would make this quick as his gauntlets would change from that to Gae Bolg and Zabimaru. He would look at the flying creature and know what he was going to do. He would awaken Zabimaru, but there was no point in doing that. Instead. He would launch his Gae Bolg with everything that had and at the same time he would swing Zabimaru straight to the flying magma creature.

Yuurei

It would look like he would miss Zabimaru, but it would extend from where it was from. On top of that it would go a bit further as Yuurei’s right arm would stretch as well. It would smack the creature right on the side as it would go tumbling down from the blow. It would try to catch itself, but when it stopped its fall, the spear would pierce right through it. The creature would yelp from the pain, and it would fall to its demise. The monsters around the area would see this and they would leave him alone. They were surprised that someone as monstrous as Yuurei was here.

He would wipe his brow as he was happy that he didn’t wake the monster that was in the volcano. He would look at Renji with a smile on his face as he was happy that they made it up here.

“Seems like we made it just fine.” He said to Renji.

Yuurei


Renji would look at him and he could see that Yuurei was drenched in sweat. He could hear him breathing hard as the temperature was indeed really strong. Still, he stood standing, and their journey had come to an end.

“Yeah, we did do it. Hopefully, you somehow become stronger after all of this. Still, let's get down so that we don’t accidentally wake up that beast.” He said to Yuurei.

Yuurei would hear him and he would chuckle for a bit, but he was right about that. He would step off the edge of the volcano, and he would start descending to the ground. His cape would make sure of that as he started flying.

He would find it relaxing even though he was hot as hell. It wouldn’t take long, but he would make it to the ground. Now he needed a way to use his key to go back to the North. He did have a way, and he would walk away from the volcano until he had enough space to use it.

Yuurei

Yuurei would take out his palace key when there was enough space, and he would use it in the air in front of him. When he did this he would turn it and a huge, beautiful palace would appear in front of him. He would enter the palace and he would use another key on the door. When he did that he would turn it and he would open it. When he saw the place, it would be his home and guild. He would step into it without a problem.

Renji was glad because he needed a shower. Hell, they both needed a shower after what they had to endure today. Yuurei felt himself more in tune with magic. He wasn’t sure what that meant, but he knew that it would be for the best. He couldn’t wait to try it out in the future. Still, they wouldn’t come back to this place for a long time.
