Kazz and Nensh would make their way to the other first of ten beacons upon reaching it Kazz would place his hand over the beacon which in turn caused it to light up. Kazz rolled his eyes. Nensh thought she heard Kazz mumble to himself something about not needing magic to even activate these things, but she wasn't sure. it didn't bother her much that Kazz was in a bad mood because she knew this was all a means to an end eventually they will start getting better jobs which would help them find their clansmen and Kazz was just being an impatient baby. they made it to the next beacon the two would turn and look to the first beacon to make sure it could be seen from the second. After confirming that they could Kazz places his hand over the beacon to light it up. This continues for the next 8 beacons they make sure they can see the last beacons from the spot of the beacon they are at and light the beacon then move on to the next. With each beacon, Kazz's anger grew he couldn't believe he was stuck doing such a pointless task.
"Are you going to pout the whole time we are doing this? You're a Saito for goodness sake! we will eventually get more important jobs but for right now enjoy the easy Jewels. Listening to Nensh scold would calm Kazz down a bit. He knew she was right but it still didn't make this less Frustrating for him. As he lights the last beacon he would stand there for a moment and stare into the light an odd Since of calm washed over him. Now that the job was done his anger and frustration about the job seemed to melt away. He turned to make sure he could see the 9th beacon in the distance and headed off back to Lt. Marin. once he made it back to the old Lieutenant Kazz told him the beacons worked perfectly. Kazz collected his payment and headed off to bed with an odd optimistic feeling his next Job would be more impactful
