An Unknown Sacrifice

A powerful rift in space said to be made through the might and magic of man, the fractured sky holds immense power and is said to provide those who are willing to sacrifice what it means to be human for knowledge beyond all. Rumor has it that Talaz Lagaar had in part been built around what had just been a ripple in reality before its people tore it asunder and gave access to its haunting affairs. Typically guarded both by automatons and magical barriers, adventurous explorers may gain temporary access albeit at a steep cost gaining knowledge that rivals the citizens of its island. Caution is key when tempting fate with the Fractured sky with a high risk of negative outcomes or barely any reward for such great sacrifice. It is said that the rewards in the long term are ten-fold in their value with the most foolish of men being made masterminds through the loss of their love and all the morals that went with it.

Event Conditions

Users must sacrifice something of themselves to the Fractured Sky whether it is stats, mana, an item, ability to use magic, or even memories in the hopes that they will be rewarded at a later date.
Users may perform once per character.
Once a sacrifice has been made it is final and the reward can not be refunded at any time.
Users may do this with any and all of their characters.

Event Details

Access to the fractured Sky will remain open until the conclusion of the event at which point the location will be guarded once more.
Members will be rewarded throughout the duration of the event in stages.
Users may submit what they wish to sacrifice if it is deemed worthy it will be removed from the person.
The reward is proportional not only to the amount sacrificed, but also by the impact the sacrifice has on the character.
Items received through sacrifice have a resale value of 0.
