General Name: 罗 诗琴 / 哈普 | Luō Shīqín | Luō Harpa Age: 19 | March x775 Gender: Male Sexuality: Asexual-Aromantic Ethnicity, Father: Icebergian. Ethnicity, Mother: Sinese. Class: Spellsword Race: Demi-Human (Snake) Rank: C-rank Guild: Guildless Tattoo: Left Hip | Lilac Face: Jacob (Jormungand) - Dislyte Appearance Height: 162cm | 5’ 2” Weight: 139 lbs | 63 kg Hair: Lavender Eyes: Blue Overall: Harpa is a young male with a lean figure, though he is usually seen wearing his white and lilac pea coat, with large cushioned collar and lapels. He also wears a tailored three piece suit that consists of a white button up, white trousers and a purple waistcoat with a white collar. Harpa does have a white blazer that goes with his suit, but rarely is seen with it as he usually prefers his pea coat. Harpa finds it much more comfortable. He also is seen with light grey loafers and a black crossover tie. Under the pockets of his peacoat, just above the hemline next to the opening of the coat, you can also find a white snake detail, this represents his serpent genes. Harpa also is seen carrying a white eye mask that has two eyes detailed onto it, black seclares with white slit pupils, again mimicking a reptilian creature, specifically his snake-like friends. Harpa also is never seen without his snakes, though people tend to think that they are some kind of illusion, or just a trick of the eye at times, especially the large snake that is usually seen with him. Extra: As a demi-human, Harpa has some snake features:
Personality Personality: Though being brought up by snakes, and tending to give the cold shoulder to people, Harpa does not mean to do this on purpose. This is just how he grew up, away from people and when he did interact with people he would be poked at and bullied for how he spoke, acted and reacted to the things around him. Over the years, Harpa slowly gained a somewhat ‘telepathic’ link with the two snakes that he grew up with, Bái and Jiādé. Harpa treasures his snakes and becomes overly protective of them, and also cannot function at times if he is away from his snakes as they are his ‘Home’ and his ‘Safespace’ if he is not within his safespace, he starts to panic and gets very anxious. When it comes to fighting, Harpa tends to try not to get into disputes, but due to his way of talking, he sometimes sounds quite harsh and cruel, and although that maybe because of his cold tendencies from being picked on a lot, and the walls he has thrown up to keep himself and his family safe, it tends to also get him into trouble and fights a lot. Due to his anxiety and his Agoraphobia, he tends to seem very clumsy and a little bit of an aloof person, but that is not the case, Harpa is actually a very kind and sweet guy who just really wants to make friends and see people happy, but maybe sometimes he will do things that are just not something to do at that specific moment, which leads to bad things, or ends up causing accidents to himself mostly than the people around him which just makes him a hassle to deal with. However, there is a limit to how much the pocket dimension can store. More skilled users are able to Requip different weapons in battle, and it is even possible to Requip armors in the midst of battle. Requip users can also project a holographic inventory screen where they can view and organise items in their pocket dimension, as well as add items without the user equipping it on themselves. History History: Harpa for as far as he can remember, grew up in a dark and damp area. He never knew who his parents were or where he came from. Harpa only remembers being told to not open his eyes. Obeying the orders, Harpa only saw through touch for a long portion of his childhood, making his way around wherever he was, he remembered feeling damp, lost and alone, though he does remember feeling like he was constantly being watched, but due to the orders from the people who had abandoned him, Harpa never knew what he was being watched by, nor did he ever feel threatened by this inkling of a feeling. Eventually whatever it was that was following and watching Harpa, made itself known, and unbeknownst to him, Harpa understood the suspicious creature that had approached him one day, when he was wandering aimlessly through the unknown place. The only words that were said to Harpa at the time was “Open your eyes.” but he refused as he was told never to open them, the creature soon hissed, which made Harpa flinch at first, but he soon enough hissed back. It wasn't until the creature had noticed the child’s similar tongue appearance, that he was once again told to open his eyes, and as it seemed like a demand, Harpa opened his eyes and soon stared at the creature that was almost the same size as he was himself. Staring into the oh so hypnotizing reptilian eyes, Harpa spoke up in a timid voice asking what the creature wanted. Once again the snake hissed, before replying to the child; “To protect you from the predators in this forest that will soon come to harm you.” From then on, Harpa had become a companion to this child sized snake, and this child sized snake had become a friend to Harpa. They made a den for the both of them to live in and retreat to during the winter, when Jiādé would hibernate and over time he had learned to do so as well. They went hunting together and in preparation before his first hunting trip, Harpa was taught some skills by Jiādé that snakes would use on a daily basis. They taught him how to use his senses of hearing and taste, to overcome the frequencies he had trouble with that were not in their hearing frequency, and how to learn his directional awareness with his forked tongue senses, a way of smelling without actually smelling. He also found out that he has issues when he comes into contact with certain objects, as he can sense a large amount of sensations with the vibrations that happen around them daily, but he was told to use this as an advantage. It was an advantage to know when they were in danger and when to attack at the correct moment. One day when he was just a pre-teen, Harpa had asked if the snake knew who he was or where he had originally come from, but the just snake shook their head, only replying with “I have been watching since you arrived, and I recall a name of ‘Luo Shiqin.’ I have heard many names over my years, but I don't recognise any of those names… If you want, I will call you ‘Harpa’ instead?” Not knowing where he came from, or who even named him that name, Harpa agreed and gave the snake a name, calling the child sized snake ‘Jiādé’ in return. It was when he reached his mid teen years, that Harpa had found himself running home to Jiādé, with a wounded small snake in his arms. He didn’t know how to heal a snake, as he was not an actual snake, but he did know that Jiādé would. It was during the healing time that Harpa had grown fond of the small white snake, and just as he was with Jiādé when they went out hunting together for their meals, he became extremely protective over the little reptile and refused to leave the wounded creature in the den that Jiādé and Harpa called their home, so Harpa would stay home as Jiādé went hunting, but even this made Harpa anxious, as he did not know if Jiādé would be safe alone, or even return back to him, but each time, Jiādé did return, and when the little white snake recuperated, Harpa asked if they could allow the little white snake to stay with them, and though cautious at first, Jiādé saw how attached and protective of the smaller snake Harpa had become towards, and finally agreed. This little white snake was soon named Bái and became the third member of their little family. The longer this went on, over the years, the more scared and anxious Harpa would become whenever his family would go out hunting without him. There were days when Harpa felt like he couldn’t leave the den, as being too worried that something would happen to the three of them, but they had to eat and in return the two snakes would go out hunting instead, the only problem was, how snakes hunted, they would kill their prey onsite and then become immobile whilst digesting their food, which meant they were vulnerable whilst they were digesting, and without Harpa around to protect them, Bái and Jiādé were defenseless and easy prey themselves to others, despite being one of the most deadly predators. He needed to protect them, because if they aren’t around anymore, then Harpa would lose himself in anxiety and guilt. He needed them, and they needed him to protect them during these moments, like digestion time and hibernation season. He would hone his skills, and learn new ones, and the only way to do that was venture outside of the forest, except he would wait till his family returned and he would take them with him as he ventured. Bái and Jiādé were his home, and in return Harpa was Bái and Jiādé home. Discord: DistrAkiteD Reference: Me, Myself and I. |
