Setesh
As it turned out, the mysterious illness that struck the city recently was not the end of Father Jerad's woes, as soon another request from the Kardia Cathedral hung on the job board. Setesh took the quest, having taken a liking to the priest, despite his general dislike of priests and all things "holy". The young mage's body was sore that day, as it tended to be as of late. The harshness of the self-imposed training regime is taking its toll both on the body and the mind, but Nasser knew that in the end all of his hard work would pay off. In the end, that was they key. He was sure of it. Brutal, honest, hard work. Some people are born with prodigious talent for magic, but this mage was well aware that he likely didn't have much of that. A great knowledge of magic, yes, but for years the practicalities of the craft had eluded him, even with a basic elemental magic. This was both a blow to his self esteem and a source of even greater resolve to overcome the shackles that life had placed on him.
Nonetheless, hard and honest work did not limit itself only to training. Other types of it were necessary if one wanted to be successful, and so the black haired mage took if in the direction of the Cathedral.
The weather was good that day, a small boon in a recent string of nightmares for Fiore. Setesh's thoughts wandered to the dark raiders, that until recently wrecked havoc across the country. What an insane occurance, visitors from a universe parralel to our own. There was so much more to magic, so much we've had to yet understand. We were merely children in the dark, playing with a small flame that enchanted our senses, distracted us from the oncoming blaze. Was there even such a thing as a true pinnacle to magic? How powerful could one become? What wonders were waiting there to be discovered? These thoughts filled the boy's heart with a burning passion. A passion that, that day, he transmuted into energy for helping those in need.

His task for the day was to collect as many Blessia flowers as possible, with the ultimate goal of them later being used to make the medicine that Father Jerad beleives can cure the families. The task seemed simple enough, but quickly turned out to be rather monotonous. Nasser had searched nearly all the outskirts of the town and the edge of the forest, but found none of those flowers. Eventually, he began to doubt they even existed in the first place, but chose not to give up so easily. Jerad was no fool, after all.
Eventually, a miracle seemingly came out of nowhere after Setesh decided to venture deeper into the forest proper: he found the bush! After carefully inspecting it first, he came to the conclusion that this was definitely the flower he was looking for and that it had thorns. Carefully, he picked off all the flowers off the bush. Judging by the bush's position, he deduced it may be growing near large trees, a hypothesis which soon proved to be correct.
Half an hour later, Setesh had a full backpack of Blessia flowers. He returned to Father Jerad and returned them, happy that he had committed his good deed for the day.
Now, it was time to train again.
