Yuurei


Yuurei and Renji were trying to gather jewels for the future. The two of them had spoken about it, and it was time that they started reinforcing their guild to become durable. They had to make sure that whenever they were attacked, they could fend off the attackers. That was why they were in Talaz Lagaar. They were heading to the one location that knew would pay them for their service. It wasn’t just that, but they knew that they needed all the help they could get.

The Seraphim was making his way there while Renji was walking by his side. The two of them wore their mask so that they didn’t get sick from anybody. They knew the risk and helping people was something that they would do no matter what.

They would make their way to the hospital and as they approached the place, they wouldn’t see a problem from the outside. Still, they figured things might be different when they entered.

Yuurei

The two of them would walk to the door and would open it. When they got inside, they would see that the nurses were not pacing back and forth. It would seem like things were less hectic today, which was a good thing. He figured that they would have work for him in one of the rooms, so he would approach them. He would wave at them, and they would take notice as they bow to him.

“Is there any work for me here today?” He asked waiting for them to say something to him.

They would look at each other and then look at him with a smile.

“The patients are all being taken care of right now, so we don’t need any assistance here. We still need your help though.” She said to Yuurei as he was glad to hear that.

“What would you like me to do?” He asked waiting for them to explain what was needed of him.

The nurses would hear that he was fine to help them and they would be happy and excited to hear that from him.

“That’s good to hear. So, what we need you to do is something you’ve done before. We ran out of hers, and we need someone to go get more. As you know of the danger there, we can't really go and get it ourselves. Do you think you can go get them, even though you aren’t with your other friend today?” She asked him wondering what he would say now.

Yuurei would look around and he was glad that they were making progress. Of course, he was glad to help and he was going to accept this task without a problem.

“Yeah, I can do that for you, so you don’t have to worry about a thing.” He said to her.

He remembered where it was from the last time, so he didn’t need directions.

The two of them would turn around and they would start walking out of the hospital. When they did Renji would look at Yuurei and wonder why his friend was so quick to rush into danger.

“Are you sure that they couldn’t go get it?” He asked Yuurei as he remembered the danger, but figured they would know of a way to get through it.

“I mean they are paying us, so what is the issue with doing this for them?” He asked Renji.

Renji would look at him and he would shake his head as he was right.

“Why are you against this today Renji?” He asked him wondering what he would say.

“I don’t know, but I do know you won’t always be here for them to get the herbs they need for these people. If they can't get it themselves they are kind of screwed in the future.” He said this as he would climb on Yuurei’s shoulder.

Yuurei would see this and with that, he would start flying in the air.

Yuurei would start making his way to their destination. He knew that the flora and fauna there were exotic and sentient. It was something he was used to, but they were on a whole different level. Migi would feel the wind blowing against him and he wondered how these two got used to something like this.

“How do you two like flying?” He asked.

Yuurei and Renji would chuckle when they heard him.

“It’s something we also had to get used to. No worries, I can cover for you if you want. Also, didn’t you like come from the sky?” He said to Migi.

Migi would sigh at the remark. Just because he came from the sky didn’t mean he enjoyed it.

“I fell from the sky, but I was in some type of void world, so that’s different, but I will take your word on it and get used to it.” He said to Yuurei.

The group was getting closer to their destination. It was then he could see the only plant life within Talaz Lagaar. It was interesting to see this place surviving so well, and he was hoping that they didn’t destroy it. He would start descending down to the place as he knew it would get dangerous from here on out.

When he landed, he would keep his guard up. The Seraphim would move around as he would move his hands and he would requip his equipment on. He would have his Jeweled Sword Zeltrech in one hand, and then he would have his Gae Bolg in the other. He would move around carefully as he didn’t want to destroy that much of the plant life. Migi could see that things would be dangerous here, and he would bring out two appendages from the right arm, and he would prepare to cut up anything that attacked him or his hosts.

Yuurei would continue walking through the place as he knew where he was going. While moving, he would see that they were getting closer to where they needed to be. While he was doing that, though, he could feel and sense the vibration of things moving around the place. It would seem like when he got to the flowers that he was here for they would attack him.

The Seraphim was wondering if they were protecting the little plants from people like him. It was either that, or they were trying to make sure that the people of Talaz Lagaar would die off. He wasn’t sure, and he couldn’t talk to them, so he would do his best.

When he got close enough, something would start rushing toward him. He could feel it and then the danger came. He would dodge to his right as it was the safest this place to jump t. He would see a Venus Fly Trap appear and he would shake his head.

Yuurei was so close to getting what he had come here for without having to fight. Still, he would have no choice, but to do what needed to be done. He would see vines coming for him, and when he dodged it, he felt danger from his left. He would see more vines coming to him, and he would swing his Jeweled Sword, and mana condensed into a sharp slash that would connect to the vine that was coming at him. It would be destroyed, and the Seraphim would do something else.

He would toss his Gae Bolg straight at the plant that was attacking him. The flora would dodge the attack, and it was then the spear would turn around. Migi would notice another attack coming from their right and he would counter it with an attack of his own. He would cut the plants coming for them without the two appendages as he wasn’t going to allow them to be harmed.

Yuurei would see that Migi had them protected, which was a good thing. He could focus on the task at hand. The Seraphim would watch the Venus Fly Trap rushing his way, but then it would be impaled by his Gae Bolg. He would sigh with relief when he saw that his spear had hit its mark. It would move back to Yuurei and he would catch it without a problem. It was then he would see the flower not too far from where they were. He would move over to it and he would pick it up.

There were a lot of them that he had to pick up, so it would be what he would do. He had to make sure that he had gotten enough before the plants got close to him to attack. Of course, he was quick on his feet, and Renji was helping him as well. The flowers would go to his weapon dimension and he kept doing so until he knew it was time to go.

Yuurei would feel the vibration of more plants coming in their direction. He knew that it was time for them to go. He would sigh as he knew it was time for them to go. He would move to Renji and he would pick up his partner. It was then he would fly straight into the air. The trees would do their best to make sure that Yuurei couldn’t get out, but he moved too fast for them to be able to do anything. He would make his way back to the hospital as it was his starting destination. He would look down at the plant life below him and he felt bad.

The people on this island needed this, but they probably didn’t treat plant life as a sacred thing. Still, there were people who didn’t know better who were sick. The Seraphim would get to the hospital and he would enter the place. There, he would hand the nurse who had given him this assignment all the flowers that he could gather. She would be happy with the results and he would gain his pay before leaving.
