Hunger Games X795
Event Details
Someone named the Island Master has summoned you and many others to Survivor Island. Why? No one seems to know the answer to that question. All you know are many people are watching you, either rooting for your survival or your demise. More will be known throughout your time during the Hunger Games.
- There are three camps on the island: Sirens, Hydra, and Kappa (Unless not enough people). Each participant can only roleplay with the members of their camp because each camp is located far away from the other on the island.
- Each topic title must be tagged correctly for it to count towards the event. The correct method is to add the camp and Day Phase behind each title as follows - Sirens, Day 1 e.g.
- Someone from the team may make the topic or the Island Master will for the team who hasn't posted after 24hrs are up.
- Day Phases end when the Master posts the Game, which is randomly timed. This teleports everyone to the location of the Challenge, which means that any post made on a topic after the Challenge has been posted is considered invalid.
- Time does not flow naturally on the island. Therefore, it is never clear when a Day Phase may suddenly end.
- There will be no entry post in the Game topic. The first post immediately starts the game, thus requiring a roll as well.
- Participants may have gathered food during the Day Phase or found items. Should the participant have gathered food, they must indicate which food and how much bonus they receive in their first post of the Game topic beneath their post e.g. Low-Quality Meat (+5 STR), High-Quality Herbs (+15 CON).
- The use of items should be DMed to me before they roll for the game, rather it's an item, weapon, or anything that was given by someone Sponsoring them.
- The Sirens, Kappas, and Hydra will compete for each other during these Games, and the team with the lowest score is considered the loser. As a result, the member with the lowest score from the losing camp will die in a certain way that is dependent on that day. This continues till there are only a few members left for the teams.
- The last remaining members of the lowest groups after a certain amount will eventually be merged. No more camps are competing against each other. Everyone competes for themselves now individually. The participant with the lowest score in each challenge will be removed from the island.
Participant Inventory
- Each participant has 10 points in their attributes during this event.
- Each participant will only have a shirt, pants, shoes, and whatever one item they get at the beginning unless the participant tries their luck to get more at the start.
- It is not possible to use magic or items from out of the island on the island.
- Users may continue roleplaying as usual outside of the event while they roleplay on the islands for the event. This event does not fill any topic slots. Treat this Event as a filler from an anime.
- Social roleplay posts on the island are reduced to 100 words per post excluding speech.
The 3 Occurrences
Island Master may post randomly on anyone's topic with one of the three options depending on their role. Sponsorship, a Negative phenomenon, or a positive phenomenon.
- Sponsorships are gifts from the viewer(s) that may help a specific person with a current or future task. To get these, during a social topic, a viewer might be awed by your cause or like what they see. The island master will roll what you get out of a cure, weapon, or food that will surely give you a boost in winning. Not all topics will be lucky, only those the viewers choose to feel passionate about or feel sorry for.
Ex: Romance, specific stories, etc.
- Negative phenomenon will happen if the viewers either get bored or if the team or team members get close to something that will trigger it. This can be from a trap, poisonous gas, or deadly creature to even something that might tempt them to simply eat and die.
- Positive phenomenon will just mean they get to be safe for a day and are free to scavenge for food to boost their stat(s) for the next day.
Challenges
- Each challenge relies on certain attributes. The challenges can consist of multiple stages, thus multiple attributes may be required, but the combinations will be random each time.
- An example would be solving a puzzle (Intelligence) to remove the rope around yourself first, after which you must capture one of the roaming monkeys with your bare hands (Speed).
- In such topics, you first create a post attempting to solve a knot around yourself while rolling a die. The dice represent your Intelligence in this case.
- Once everyone has posted, you may post again for the second part in your second post which is trying to capture the monkey while rolling a dice again. This time the dice represent your Speed.
- There is no posting order, but everyone must post at least once before you can post again. The Island Master is impatient, so something will happen if someone takes too long.
- The rolled number is affected by the Game attributes of the user. In this case, the user has 10 Intelligence, so a roll of 40 would mean a roll of 50.
- The attributes can be altered before a challenge by collecting food, items, cures, etc.
Extra
- Winner will get a mysterious great prize - there shall only be one winner.
- Losers shall get a compensatory prize depending on how far they get.
- You may sign up for a max of 2 of your characters, but they will not be on the same team as the other.
- This isn't where your character dies and never comes back, if you die on the island, you get sent back to a random location in Fiore or another Country, fully alive - unless you want something to be taken for the plot.
- Just sign up by posting that you offer yourself as tribute.
- Everyone will be tagged with their teams and the event will start once there is either enough people for each team or after enough weeks has passed.
- Teams are selected by the Island Master.
