Magic Name: Hermes, the Messenger of the Gods
Element: Arcane
Category: Single
Quantity: Limited
Description: Hermes is known for being one of the most clever and mischievous children of Zeus. He is a graceful yet cunning figure and is considered to be highly swift and agile. As part of his portfolio, Hermes is a god of travel, wealth, luck, fertility, animal husbandry, sleep, language, thieves, and trade. Hermes appears as a handsome, youthful young man. In terms of personality, Hermes is friendly, cordial, and very playful. He loves to gamble as he can outwit a lot of the other gods and humankind through his trickery.
Drawback: The user becomes an absolute chad.
Skills
- Dice Guys Finish First: The user may roll twice per day on the Fortune Wheel. Both rolls count towards a win. In addition, the user may roll one more time on the Dice Game if they are not satisfied with their first roll in the Dice Game. The last number rolled counts, not the best roll.
- Instant Travel: The user no longer needs to travel allowing them to roleplay anywhere and everywhere at the same time within Earthland and Fiore. This does not allow for them to bypass invasion rules which require them to roleplay within a region prior to the start of the topic with the person they intend to invade.
- Great Leaper: The user can reach heights of up to 4 meters easily by pushing themselves off against the ground with their feet. Whether it's done with a casual hop or a serious jump isn't relevant.
- Lunging Dirty: The user receives a range increase of 50% to regular lunges via their Speed and Constitution. The new range is rounded to the nearest whole number.
- Need For Speed: The user cannot have their Speed reduced by others below their base Speed stat.
- Blast From The Fast: The user generates an instant AoE shockwave around themselves when using a dashing spell. This shockwave is formed at the starting point of the dash, not the endpoint or in transition. The size of the shockwave is based on the rank of the spell (D: 1 meter, C: 2 meters, B: 3 meters, etc). The shockwave knocks back everyone a few meters based on the rank of the spell (D: 1 meter, C: 2 meters, B: 3 meters, etc). In addition, the shockwave causes magical Arcane-type damage equal to the rank of the dashing spell. The shockwave can only be generated once per post. Since this is a magical knockback, it can be negated by a spell of equivalent rank to the dashing spell (to the rank of the spell, not the rank of the damage). Physical equipment, such as armors and shields, do not negate knockback, only the damage.
Restrictions
- The user must either train or purchase the spell listed below when they have unlocked the respective spell slot.

- The magic takes up two enhancement slots. The user does not need to have the enhancement slots available at purchase. Should the user ever unlock their enhancement slots, it will immediately be filled by this magic.
Requirements
- The user must be a Human, Dwarf, or Elf.
Spells
- Name: Flash Step
Rank: D-S Mana Cost: 100-500 Requirements: Hermes, the Messenger of the Gods Type: Supplementary Element: Arcane Range: 10 Meters - 50 Meters Cooldown: 10M (1), 20M (2), 30M (3), 40M (4), 50M (5) Duration: Instant Effect: Flash Step collects mana from the user passively to unleash it all at once allowing the user to burst into a direction. Since it happens nearly instantaneous it might appear as teleportation, however, this is not the case. The user simply bursts into a different direction. It costs 100 mana per 10 meters, up to a maximum of 50 meters, and must be performed in iterations of 10 meters. The cooldown varies depending on the distance. It should be noted that this move is for defensive purposes. It is therefore not allowed to hold onto a weapon and burst into the direction of a target to harm them. Furthermore, the burst takes a small toll on the user's body causing their muscles to contract for a second and taking away their ability to cast a spell for three seconds after bursting. This cannot be nullified.
- Name: Cicada Step
Rank: S Mana Cost: 500 Requirements: Hermes, the Messenger of the Gods Type: Supplementary Element: Arcane Range: 25 Meters Cooldown: 10 Posts Duration: Instant Effect: The user may use this move when they have been harmed. Upon receiving damage, the user nearly instantaneously moves toward a new direction and negates the damage that they have received. The movement is so fast that it leaves behind an afterimage for 5 seconds that appears to have taken damage. This afterimage disappears after 5 seconds. The user may choose a new location to "reappear" within a radius of 25 meters of themselves. Since this is not teleportation, the user may not move through walls or any other structures that may hinder them from moving in a direct line towards their new location. This move may only be used as an escape mechanism, similar to Flash Step, and therefore disables the right to attack after using it. This cannot be nullified.
- Name: God Soul: Hermes, the Messenger of the Gods
Rank: S Mana Cost: 10% of Total Base Mana Requirements: Hermes, the Messenger of the Gods Type: Transformation Element: Arcane Range: - Cooldown: 5 Meters Duration: Sustain Effect: The user activates the God Soul and merges with Hermes. The skin and armor of the user become golden and start to emit visible vibrations and fog from the speed building up within them. The user receives a 50% increase in their base Speed. Need For Speed covers the 50% increase in Speed as part of the base speed. Lunging Dirty increases the range of lunges by 100% now. Blast From The Past has its radius and knockback doubled. The damage of Blast From The Past is increased to one rank higher In addition, the user can move across air or vacuum as if standing on solid ground. They can walk in any position and angle without a surface. The user can do things like walk upside down in the air or even in the water, sideways, or even diagonally, allowing them to reach areas or combat others from different angles. At most, the user can reach heights of 15 meters with this method. This is a transformation and not a spell. Therefore, it can't be canceled by artifacts or magics that can cancel spells.
