Death had come forward for the ones that dared to chase the light or so Kaito had been told and there was not a proof but the devil in the details and the snakes always at your feet seemed to always ring true and so Kaito would not allow himself to fall victim to these of the cursed set to come for him as he served and tended to the people that needed him here on the island as there were many now that just sought to be seen by him for his name and not for the condition that they were in when they came to see him, Kaito tried to avoid these people but they still seemed to slip through the cracks and past Revy to get to him as he was here for more healing of the sick and hurt of Talaz but there was never really a moment to rest as the country seemed to be on the edge of something.

Kaito and others were taking their time as they walked the island handing out aid as they went and he hoped that they were making a difference for these people but as long as they were still getting sicker and more harmed daily Kaito had no real idea to if he was doing the right thing or if he was the one enabling them as he keeps healing and patching up the people that seemed to keep getting harmed and sick and spit right back into the claws of this vicious machine and he wonders if he was about to be killed and he couldn't prove that there was more issues than they had seen in the first place and he was at a loss to if he can even change anything that was happening her and if he could even really adjust to it all and there were many things that might come to bite him in the ass and he wonders if there was a right way out of this for them all.

Revy saw how he looked as she helped people and she was starting to wonder if he was not losing his touch or maybe he was tired but she kept going hard at work about the things that she could help but she wondered if there was more issues going on her self as she had seen a lot of people come and go and she wondered that  if there might not be more to the cause and she wished that they knew how they could make this better but at every turn this place seemed so much more dead and life less and stale as there was just death and sickness but that was really as deep as it got as this place was boring and just an endless repeating cycle with no real care for the people here. Kaito keeps putting his all into healing and helping these people with his training.

Kaito moved with the rest of the group to the next area that was in need of the help that they were giving and Kaito tries to focus but he just can't seem to focus as he feels a rage in his heart that makes him want to just tear into someone like he is a monster of some sort but he can't do that and Revy punches him on the leg to snap him back to the real world and he shakes his head and he catches up to the others as they get to the next point and they walk up to their line and they start tending to them and getting the bits that can fixed, fixed. Kaito is worried that there is going to be a bandage and medicine shortage soon if they have to keep up at this rate as it seemed like Kaito was having to try to keep up at this point like two or three times a week and that is taking a lot to do.

Kaito had to wonder how the bandage and medicines of this country haven't just sky rocketed in price as how many are being used and taken into account the backlash that they must be facing Kaito is starting to wonder if the bandages are just being recycled and that there was trouble to be had there as well. Kaito had a quick grim thought and he wondered if they were starting to turn people into bandages and selling them but Kaito just thought this was just crazy and he keeps it to himself as he bandages and takes closer care of the people that he needed to take care of and he wondered if these people would tell him about what had happened but they all stay tight lipped and that makes his wonders turn to worry as he doesn't want them to keep suffering but it almost feels like they were not going to have any luck here as there was a bit of trouble getting them to spill their guts to him.

Kaito having been unable to get answers stops asking and he hopes that one day they might be able to tell him the hidden truth of these things but he knows that trying to force it will get him no where as he was only here for a small reason and that was to make sure that he was worth the answers and he still had a lot to do here as he works on the wounded and he hopes that he will be able to help the sick and the injured as there was a lot of them and that he needed to make sure that they were given their justice and their piece of mind returned to them but he had a feeling that there was not a lot that could be done about it and they get the last of the people that trusted them enough to step forward and healed the best that they can do and Kaito thanks them and he is given his pay and he goes on his way.
