Toge and his group of companions had done their daily good deeds within Talaz Lagaar; they had helped those who were in a dire situation, and now things were going well for those people. That was a good thing and he was hoping it would come to an end soon. While he was going around, they had gotten something to eat as Luci was hungry. He was fine with that as long as they were able to go hunting for some old stuff and sell it within the black market. The Zero monument was a great place to pillage, and he couldn’t believe that nobody would care to protect it. Well, he was sure they were, but they were all sick.

While moving Lector would climb off Toge as he was now walking by his side. The Beastmaster would look at Lector and it would seem like he was going to be looking for more treasure. That was good, he believed his judgment now that the last time he banked in a lot of jewels.

“Do you want us to relax and be on the lookout for you Lector?” He asked him wondering what the Exceed would say.

Lector would look at Toge and he would give him a thumbs up on the matter.

“Yeah I don’t need you guys to help out, you will only cramp up my search. If you can please just make sure that nobody sneaks in here.” He said to Toge and the others.

They would all look at him and they would nod. It was something they were fine with doing. Luci didn’t care as he wasn’t going to do anything; he knew the cat knew what he was doing, so he would let it be.

When they got to their destination. Lector would start jogging around as he would do his thing. Toge and Boo would look around to make sure that they would stand watch and be on guard.

Lector would run around the place as he was on all fours now that he was alone. It was quicker this way and he would move around the place. He looked out for any shiny objects to him and he would see that there wasn’t much around here. He didn’t care as he would keep moving. He knew he would be able to find something soon enough and Toge would be happy about it when he came back with it.

The three that were left would continue to watch the place. Luci would smoke his cigarette as he looked over to Toge.

“So, you seem to be getting stronger and stronger Toge. Do you think you can fight the guy who beat you last time? You’re guild master is one of them.” He asked him wondering what he would say to him.

He would look at Luci and he would shake his head when he heard the suggestion.

“Nah I don’t plan on fighting him again. He’s on a different level, and it would only lead to me losing again. I don’t need to do something I know the results to again.” He said to Luci.

The demon would hear him and he would nod as he understood. It would make sense, and the last time he saw Yuurei, the man was a literal angel. The man was a different breed and something to be feared in Earthland if he had ever shifted to the side of darkness.

“I understand, was only thinking out loud and wanted to know your input.” He said to him.

Lector was still moving around the place and soon enough he would come to a stop. He noticed something that caught his attention, and he would slowly start walking toward it. He was in awe of the object and knew that this would be something that Toge would be able to sell for quite a lot of jewels.

Lector would make his way to what he was looking at and he would be happy. He would take it out from where it was. It proved a little difficult to remove, but with his claws, he would eventually succeed. He would take it out and he would hold onto it with all his might. He would start walking over in the direction where he had left everyone. He was going to make sure that nobody could take the prize he found before he got to his friends. He wondered if they were really watching over the place to make sure that he could roam around safely.

The three of them made sure that they were all looking in a different direction. They wouldn’t allow anybody to get past their sight even if they weren’t really paying attention. Boo was wondering what was taking the little guy so long, but figured he would give it a bit longer before they started searching for him.

Lector was moving around as he had to be careful not to drop this item. If it would break, then he would have to look for something else. He knew that the price value of this thing would drop, and he wanted to avoid that. While he walked around, he heard a noise. This noise would make him jump, and he almost dropped the item at hand. He would shake his head and he would start running now. He would make his way to the group and he would give Toge the item and would climb on him. He would shake his head as he didn’t like the feeling behind this.

“We should go; that should be enough to get a lot of jewels. Now walk Toge please.” He said to him.

Toge would look at him and then at the item. He would examine it and see it was a pretty piece. He would start walking as Lector asked. He wondered what got the Exceed riled up, but figured it was something he didn’t need to ask. They were now making their way to the black market that was back in Fiore.
