Yuurei would feel Migi healing slowly, but it wasn’t enough to fully recover. He didn’t like what happened to them as it really messed with their morale. Renji was walking slowly as he couldn’t transform back into his Exceed form. He needed to heal and holding Excalibur with Avalon was the only way he could heal. It was cold out here for some reason, and even if Yuurei wanted to leave this place he couldn’t. There was a barrier covering this entire section of the mountain right now. It would prevent anything from going in or out. It was how they made sure that nobody entered this place by mistake.

While they walked, Migi noticed how quiet things were. It was actually annoying to see them acting like they lost the world.

“You guys are down after that one fight? You guys should be happy you’re alive and move on from there. We will make sure to go all out next time we see him. There was something weird about him though. It was like we couldn’t hurt him, I wonder what that could be.” He said to them as Yuurei looked at his arm.

He wanted to throw the arm off and onto the wall right now, but he wasn’t wrong. They didn’t go all out against him, which was probably something that they should have done. Renji was just upset that he could only be a damage blocker for Yuurei and it pissed him off that way.

“Go to hell Migi, do you think we aren’t thinking about that.” He said as if he was mad at himself more than anything.

He would continue walking and they would see the next cave. They would enter the place without hesitating. When they got there, they would notice that the exit wasn’t that far from there. There was something wrong with this place and Renji could feel it. He would look at Yuurei and he could see that his mind was elsewhere. Renji would smack the back of his head as he knew he would have to say what Migi said.

“As much I didn’t want to hear what Migi said, he’s right. We’re alive and that is all that matters. Let’s make sure we don’t underestimate anybody here again.” He said to Yuurei.

The Seraphim would look at Renji and he would take a deep breath. It was then he would let it all out and he would let it all out.

“Alright, I will make sure not to underestimate anything ever again. Renji as I said you’re not allowed to fight just yet.” He said to him.

Renji would nod as he understood, and he would just stay behind and allow them to fight anything that comes at them. Yuurei was glad that he listened, and he hoped that everybody was ready. He would take one step forward, and that was when the ground started shaking. He was disappointed this was happening, but he knew they were about to find out what it was soon enough.

Kaito with his hood up and his mask firmly over his face walked in and he keeps his eyes forward as he didn't feel like he was really allowed to talk or act like he was a big player as he was just clearly a coward. Kaito the dimensional coward, a hero to none a fool to all is what repeats in his head and his head aches and it seems to stir up an anger in his heart and his soul and he feels like his body is heating up and he was going to just let it out but he puts a cap on his feelings as he was not going to let it out cause he can't here. He needed to suppress not feel, as his soul can't heal, a curse hangs from him like a purse full of stone, that will one day force him to have to atone.

Revy stayed by Renji's side as she hopes to be able to keep him out of trouble and not get herself killed as well. She kept Kaito's sword on her side so she was ready if they were to get into a fight here. She knows that Renji seems to have a decent handle on the weapons that Yuurei uses and she hopes that she can do something that makes sense and will be able to make an impact. She needed this sword to work for her and give her the power she held inside herself as well and she will not allow Renji to get hurt or taken advantage of as she needs to keep him in one piece if she is to get her own happy future.

Kaito looked around as he saw the exit had disappeared as well and he tries to make a portal that could get them out of the place but nothing happened. He tried again and nothing happened, he then tried one that stayed in his area and it worked this area seems to have cut them off from the outside so no one could come in or out of this place as long as they were here and he wonders what might even be in this area as he was not sure if there was someone or something else here or if he was just being paranoid but they would probably soon find out if this was going to be a fight or just another area that they need to walk through to see what they will be facing next but Kaito had a feeling that his place was going to be more the fight and not walk ones. "Your necklace sensing anything Yuurei?" He asked that question of Yuurei without even looking toward where the man was as he thinks that Yuurei can hear him clear enough without him having to face the man as he was going to keep his eyes peeled in case something that Yuurei's necklace doesn't sense comes speeding toward them with out any disregard for who or what it is about to hit and how hard it was going to hit them.

The group was mainly silent. After the embarrassing fight with the Top-Hat Starlight, the atmosphere seemed heavy. Even Renji lashed out at Migi who had made a good point. Brone Heavyaxe, like Katio and Yuurei, doesn't rely on his best move, his transformation, in the first few seconds in battle, since it's usually taxing on their magical energy.

Brone didn't chime in, knowing Migi was right, they should have went all out, but he was too embarrassed to say anything, so as they walked, he cleaned out his smoke-pipe after it went cold. Smoking was suppose to destress him, but the rogue Starlight had worsen the experience for him.

Benimaru and Gnicholas were also silent. The oni spirit knew well that something like this will happen; onis didn't just attack physically, but attacked emotionally, finding anyway to seep into people's minds to break their spirit. The gnome was calculating as much as he could, trying to figure out anything that the group needed to know. He also noticed Kaito attempting some form a spell; the assumption was that he was trying to open a dimensional portal, his specialty, but wasn't able to and Yuurei confirmed it. So they truly weren't able to turn back.

Brone groaned as he spotted another cave ahead of them. Unfortunately they couldn't go around it, given that the slopes became too steep, so the only passage was through the cave. He pocketed his wooden pipe and slid his blue helmet upon his head, causing the area to grow cold. If this cave was similar to the last, then they may end up dealing with another swarm of oni or even worse.

They entered and just like the other cave, it was dimly lit by the glowing stone and crystals that spread throughout the walls and ceiling. Kaito asked Yuurei if he sensed anything, already on their toes. Gnicholas, sitting on Brone's shoulder looked at the dwarf, meeting his gaze in a way of asking him the same question.

Before Brone spoke, a tremor moved through the cave, "Other than that, I don't feel anything" he spoke low, his eyes peering all about, his senses stretching and trying to pick up every little detail. Benimaru, sensing that things may start picking up again, had floated over to Brone and slid beneath his cloak to fasten himself to the dwarf's back for safety. Gnicholas knew to slide down the dwarf's shoulder and fall into the cloak's cowl in order to avoid the danger. He always had confidence in the monster trio, but this journey has proven that danger was real and he didn't want to risk his life, but he will do what he could for the group.

Brone drew his spellcleaver into his right hand. If anything odd would happen, it may be something magical in affect, so his blade should be able to negate it before it would cause lasting damage. They were on the defense and no one was against it the tactic.

Yuurei would feel the shaking of the ground. It wasn’t all he felt, but he was feeling the danger creeping up in this cave. That wasn’t good, and what was worse was that it was only coming from one person. He would hear Kaito’s words and he would shake his head as this was bad. They were still recovering from their last fight, and now something like this was happening.

“Yeah, something is coming.” He said to the group.

This was dangerous, darkness started to come out of the wall and started slithering its way to the middle of the cave. Their exit had disappeared, so they were stuck in here for now. When the darkness had gathered to the center of it all, the darkness would begin to solidify itself. The group would see its arms being formed, the legs, the body, and soon the head. It would look at the group in front of them and then it would let out a roar that would force them to cover their ears.

When the Oni was done, he would look at the group and he would give out a smirk.

“It’s been a long since I have seen another. That stupid Starlight sealed me away in this cave alone. But now I have visitors. This means one of you can be my new vessel and we can leave this place together.” He said to them as he looked at them all.

Yuurei would shake his head as he knew this would happen. He would force Migi to bring out two sharpened appendages out and on top of it all, he would bring out his Urdurain as he didn’t know what this thing could do. He was healing and he wanted to make sure that he didn’t get caught off guard. They didn’t know what this Oni was capable of, so it was time to be careful.

It was then that the Oni would shoot out one spell toward them, and it looked like it had a bunch of elements mixed in them. He wasn’t sure what it was, but he had to make sure to block it. He would move in front of the group and he would put the shield out in front of him. It was then it would clash with the shield, and soon enough disperse the spell. Yuurei felt the force behind that attack and he would look over to the Oni.

“What the fuck was that?!” He asked as he wasn’t sure he wanted to get hit by the attack.

Renji would move away from the battle and he would sit down and hold onto Excalibur. Avalon was healing the wounds that had damaged him, and he was hoping to be fully healed when the next fight happened. He didn’t want to be useless, and it was why he had changed and become stronger in the first place.

The Oni would scuff as he didn’t expect that monstrous shield to be in this cave. Yuurei would shake his head as he felt the pain in his abdomen still present.

Kaito heard that something was coming and then another voice speaking out to them and he wonders what their is to do. He then watched as Yuurei got in front of them and blocked a spell with his shield and Kaito claps at the spell having looked like that means this guy is no joke and something in him as very impressed by the oni but the whole body switching thing had gotten past him and he was if he was honest tired of even hearing them say that as it was just the go to line for them now it seemed. "Think you could be a bit more original? The taking bodies thing has just been a constant repeated line it is like you all just have one hive mind brain."

Kaito had no idea why he had spoke like that to the monster but that had come out and Kaito was not going to say he was sorry for it. Kaito stenches making sure that his shield arm was ready to swing and take care of business as they had just been straight traveling he knows that he might have gotten a bit stiff and he starts moving and he was picking up speed as he wanted to make sure that he didn’t fall behind the rest of them as he had already held them back enough as he needed to make sure that he stopped doing that so his shield was going to have to carry him through the rest of this fight as it seemed that Revy was going to be staying by Renji’s side till he was better and He knows he wasn’t going to interfere with her guarding the other Exceed as they grew up together and she was the big sister type to them.

Kaito kept his shield at the ready to deflect and to shield bash were he might need to as this oni seemed to really have a beef with Yuurei’s blood. Kaito was not sure how this was meant all to work and this place felt weird to Kaito as he felt cut off and it unnerved him which in the end was probably going to be a whole different issue but Kaito was going to make the most of it that he can. Kaito keeps trying to open portals but he was still unable to do it. He runs in to attempt a shield bash on the oni feeling he was nearly invisible to the oni.

The ground shook once more and soon after that, darkness began to creep forward from the walls. "That's not normal" Gnicholas said right before he hid himself away in the cowl of the dwarf. Brone drew forth his golden axe this time. Though Dhuraindarin has been a very powerful weapon, it was overly destructive and would probably make the tremors worse, maybe the caverns unstable. He then readied himself into his fighting stance. He wasn't expecting the being to be so large, but it wasn't a problem, for the monster trio had faced off against greater beings.

The shadows formed itself into an oni. He spoke of himself being sealed away by the starlights, as expected, the dwarf recognized that the desires of these onis was freedom, and how the large being focused mainly on Yuurei was because of the itch he had for being sealed away for so long. So the attack was just as quick as the oni's materialization. Luckily, Yuurei was quick enough to block the attack using the shield. Kaito too had drew forth his shield in order to take a defensive stance. As for Brone, he chose to act immediately without thinking.

"Terrible idea; you should have waited so you can analyze the enemy" Benimaru said as he continued to hide beneath the cloak. Brone didn't reply, knowing that even if the oni shield was right, Kaito and Yuurei would get a chance to see how the enemy would counter, a way of pressing the attack, forcing the large being to reveal all his cards.

Brone closed the distance and swung his golden axe at the oni's leg. But instantly, the leg managed to produce black and red armor. As the blade of the axe collided with the armor, a spark caused the axe to be repelled as a flash of fire pushed the dwarf back, nearly singing his beard.

The oni looked down at the dwarf and snapped a finger, causing a blast of fire to erupted upon the dwarf, "Hell!" Brone cursed as he swung his spellcleaver, causing the fire to immediately vanished. He growled in anger as he ran forward and and tried to attack the armored leg, this time with spellcleaver so that whatever magic that was there would be instantly destroyed. But as the blade came close, the leg quickly turned to smoke and avoided the attack. "Blast it!" Brone yelled out in frustration. He turned his gaze up at the oni who had simply looked at him before pointing a large finger in his direction.

Lightning struck the dwarf, causing him to flinch and lock up. Brone was confused about the fact that a powerful being was able to wield both fire and lightning abilities.

The Oni would look over to Kaito; it would seem like the others had tried the same thing and failed. That was good because it meant that they had to fight to get here. It also meant that he had some form of advantage.

“Of course, you will be hearing it often. Every Oni on this mountain wants to escape this place. That would be the only way for us to do it. If you want me to be quiet about it, then you would have to get rid of me.” He answered Kaito.

That was when he saw the small dwarf rushing to him. He would shake his head as he launched a series of attacks on the dwarf. When Yuurei saw this, his wings would sprout from his back as he wasn’t going to allow this to continue. The man before this had shown that he shouldn’t hold back, so he had revealed his true self. It was then he would fly straight toward the Oni as he would bring out Samehada; the Oni used a lot of mana on Brone, so he figured trying to drain his mana would be beneficial to the group.

The Oni would see Yuurei coming and he would shake his head. The Seraphim would swing the blade down, but the Oni would create an ice spike to clash against the sword, which would break it without a problem. It was then the Oni’s eyes would start becoming static and lightning would come out from his eyes and to Yuurei.

The Warden would fly into the air to avoid such attack, as it burned off a piece of his clothing. He was safe for now, but that was when a pillar of earth would come from the ceiling and would slam on Yuurei’s back. It would slam him to the ground, as the Seraphim would gasp for air, and at the same time move away from the Oni.

He shook his head as he could see that they were pathetic beings. It would seem like the humans in this world didn’t grow all this time he had been sealed. Yuurei would flap his wings as he would shake his head.

“This isn’t working it seems.” He said to himself.

Yuurei was wondering what weapons he should be using in this fight. Samehada couldn’t be used anymore as it was damaged, so he had to go in a different route. Still, the Oni felt it, there was the third one and he wondered if this guy would be attacking him next or if he should go after Kaito to see what he could do.

Kaito did indeed shield bash the creature that was in front of him and Revy had followed up with her own slash with his sword that he had given her the creature seemed to be phased by the attacks but he was not sure that that was a good thing as this creature seemed to have more mana and power than he might have thought was possible to have in this enclosed space or was it that his enclosed space was what gave him this pressure that he was using in here. Kaito looked at the room as Revy kept slashing at him and moving so she didn't get hit by something rather friendly or enemy in nature. Kaito fires beams from his fingers at the monster and it seemed to just shrug them off so Kaito is wondering if it has a magic resistance or maybe an arcane one but he can tell it had still hurt them just not any where close to what he needed to have done there.

Revy looked around to see if she leaving Renji's side had put him into any kind of danger or if she needed to return to his side but she was sure he was fine as he was a big boy who could handle himself. Kaito ran back in and knocked the guy up into the air with a slick kick and beams blasting out and up at the guy that they were fighting he was not going to be ignored he was going to get the licks in and Kaito backed up and he can tell Revy is distracted by the fact she was worried about the male exceed and she wanted to keep him safe. Kaito is starting to wonder if he is holding back Revy from being a happy mother. Kaito is blaming himself that Revy got hurt before and now he wonders if she would have been happier without him. Kaito hits the man harder as he keeps going as he lets his feelings power up his attacks and this was seeming to work as the man seemed to move under these hits but he was not getting anywhere fast

Revy snaps back to reality and she gets back to helping where she can as she needed to make sure that she wasn't holding them back as she needs to make her way around the fight and not get herself slapped back to the old her that was weak and nearly useless to Kaito she needed to wake up and keep doing what she can do and she keeps pushing forward and taking all she can gain. Kaito can see that Revy has gotten her fire back and she was moving again and he tries to plan up a few ideas for what they are going to do and try to break through the monsters defenses as it attacks back at them and Kaito and Revy step back and dodge the attacks the best that they can as they needed to make sure that there was no trouble. Kaito looked at the walls which seemed to be taking no damage from the attacks and he wonders if there was something that was up with the walls that made them seem impossible to break or get through them besides keeping them inside of this place with

Brone tried as best as he could to move, but the electricity surging through him kept him paralyzed. Whenever he began to feel movement in a limb, he would flinch and the limb would lock into place again. A memory came to him then, the first time he had met Emil. His magic was very similar to what the Oni was wielding. Being restricted was infuriating, that despite the dwarf's strength, he couldn't break out of it. The only thing he could do was watch until he got control of his body again.

The oni fought against Yuurei now, countering with ice magic and even earth magic, catching the Seraphin off guard and landing a hit on him. Brone was confused, wondering how was it possible that this being was able to wield so many forms of magic. Though he wasn't a practitioner of the magical arts, he at least know basics to an extent to understand that a mage that knew two elemental magics were uncommon, three were very rare, but more than that were practically impossible, but here was the specter, doing the impossible.

Feeling came back to his fingers; he began to flex them repeatedly as if he was dealing with pins-and-needles. Eventually his body came back to his control. His secondary arms revealed themselves from the sash and both new hands were grappling his spears. Brone bellowed a warcry as the energy within his golden spear, causing his body to grow and change, becoming the white fur werelion standing a full eleven feet tall, nearly reaching the height of the oni. As the oni looked his direction, Brone quickly took advantage of this and used his increased speed to dash towards the enemy brandishing his weapons. The oni, as a reaction, had conjured a flaming shield before him, but he didn't anticipate the lion-dwarf would use his green axe. Spellcleaver negated the flaming shield, cutting through it and slashing the skin of the oni, but the large being barely reacted. Brone didn't let up, he swung his golden axe at the chest. The oni magically conjured forth a set of armor to defend himself, but before the golden axe could make contact, it magically switched places with the black axe Dhuraindarin, which then shattered the armor and bit down onto the Oni's chest. Once again, the oni barely flinched. Before the dwarf could strike with his spears, he was kicked in the chest by the oni's foot.

"Heh! Ye ain't gonna push me!" Brone laughed as he stood his ground, keeping from being pushed back, but his smile was short-lived as the oni slammed a powerful fist over his head. The energy that seeped from the punch and struck the ground, causing a crevice to open up; though he couldn't move Brone by force, he could destroy the foundation. The dwarf then plummeted down the hole.

Yuurei would see that everybody was doing their best to take this Oni out. He was more powerful than the other ones that was for sure. The Seraphim could even see that their attacks were barely doing anything. Still, the fact was that they were doing something just at a slower rate than their previous fights.

The Seraphim would change his sword to his other sword. Zabimaru would appear and he would use his Bankai to awaken the beast behind the sword. the weapon got bigger, longer, and much more dangerous. It had a snake head, and Yuurei was ready to continue with the bout in front of them. He would look at Migi and he would nod as he knew what to do. He was going to keep this Oni on his toes from now on and he wasn’t going to hold back. He would kick off from where he was, and the Oni would see that the Starlight would approach him.

When he swung Zabimaru at the Oni, he would jump out of the way to avoid the attack, and at first, he did. Still, the blade was too long and the serpent’s head would move towards bite down on the Oni before tossing him to the ground. He would be dealt a blow, but it wouldn’t seem like things were bad for the Oni. Migi would see where he had fallen and he extended his appendages as it would make its way to the Oni. The Oni saw this and he would jump over to the side, but then he would see the extension of the blades. The demon would feel the two blades slash at him, and he would jump away.

“Are you sure you’re not a demon as well?” He asked Yuurei, and Brone who was in a hole.

It had smoke coming out of its mouth and the Oni was excited. It would seem like these were strong people he was fighting, which meant that he would have a strong body no matter who he chose.

“Alright, you guys are taking this seriously. Get ready.” He said to the group.

It was then the Oni would start to charge up, and he would look at the group in front of him. This was going to be fun and he wondered who would survive this attack. It was a blast that would consume everything in its path.

The magic circle would appear in front of him and a huge blast of every element except light, and nature. Yuurei’s eyes widen when he saw this as he could only think that they were screwed. He didn’t have his armor as Renji had it.

The Exceed wasn’t in the line of sight of the attack. He was safe, but he was leaning on the wall and healing up. He would look at them struggle and he was hoping they would be able to finish things soon. It looked like a tough fight, and if that was the case, then things were going to get tougher on the way to their goal.

Kaito kept his eyes on the fight in front of them and he wondered if their was a way to really do much here as Brone was in a hole literally and Yuurei was throwing what he could at them. Kaito upon seeing the attack he with out thought to his own safety without stopping himself he reached through unstable portals as he hadn't really had the time to fully plan them and he gets a piece of himself on all of them and phases them so they will be safe and he feels the strain on his body he is lucky that he had this Luchador's Belt or his body might have been broken by the force of the portal baring down on his body. Once that attack is over Kaito falls back against the wall as he needed a moment to recover as that hurt and was stupid to have done. "Revy keep fighting I will rejoin you as soon as I can." He is rubbing his shoulder and he hopes he can old up as that one took a decent toll on him and that it was probably not going to get any easier going forward so he was going to need to make sure he doesn't do something so bone headed again.

Revy nodded her head in agreement to him as she knows that he was looking a bit disoriented and like he might he slightly still stuck between dimensions. "Don't worry I know!" She took off back into the fight as she needed to carry the weight for both of them for the time being and that was not going to be any small task and she knows it as she is only a weaker companion still even though she had evolved to get here she knew that she needed to make the most of what she can do in the moment. "What do you need me to do Yuurei?" She was willing to do as she was told and that means that she will put her body on the line. She keeps at the oni waiting to hear what the mage will tell her to do and what really that she can do for him as there was only one oni but he was mighty and strong and had just attempted to wipe them all out with a very powerful spell.

Kaito eats a snack and his fingers feel a bit strange and he tries to get his body to normalize so that he can get back out there and fight. Kaito was struggling with this as he felt powerless to really help in that moment as there were many things that they could do if he hadn't missed himself and desynced him self from this dimension like he had just done but he knows that he has to do this he had to get back up and so he gets to his feet and he gets his shield back to himself and he runs back in to try and help with what he can do right now.

And he tumbled into the hole. Luckily, Brone was able to slam his golden axe into the side of the crevice, causing him to slow his descent, though due to his own weight, it took some time before he came to a full stop. He then looked below him to see that the hole would open up into a separate tunnel or maybe even cavern about possibly ten to fifteen meters away. He cared not for it since the group were ascending the mountain.

When he looked up, he saw that he had fallen about ten meters. "What the hell happened!?" Gnicholas poked his head out from the cowl and tried his best to make out what was around him, but his eyes weren't able pierce through the darkness of the hole.

"Brone the genius was thrown into a hole as if he were trash" Benimaru's voice came from beneath the cloak, his sarcasm didn't help the situation.

"If ye got a problem with how I'm dealing with the damn giant oni, then ye two can get off me back, LITERALLY, and help out!" Brone was already irritated and he didn't want to waste any time being within this crevice while the gnome and the talking shield and sword nag at him, so he began to climb up the natural shaft.

One by one, he would reach out his hands to grab a jutting rock from the wall as he would every so often look up to see the light through the hole. The ground rumbled and bits of rocks would tumble down the crevice, "Shouldn't you guys have defeated this singular oni by now? It shouldn't be so hard with how powerful you, Yuurei, and Kaito are" Gnicholas' question was genuine, but Brone growled, believing it was a rhetorical question to get on his nerves.

"I don't recall his name, but he's one of the most powerful oni I have ever encountered in my time, though we never spoke" Benimaru pointed out, though his voice hinted a bit of fear.

"He gots a weakness or something?" Brone asked, the struggle to climb obvious in his voice.

"He's able to use many elemental magic except for nature and obviously light, but that's all I know"

"Makes sense... oni's are highly adaptable to darker magic and part of the darker and more chaotic order of reality, very similar to demons, which is opposed to light and nature, which are considered variables with structure and purity-" Gnicholas explained, though he was interrupted by one of Brone's loud groans. The dwarf understood the surface level of the explanation that light and nature were not part of the oni's arsenal, but as the gnome continued to talk, his attention span would drastically diminish. Gnicholas, angered by the interruption, and dipped back into the white cowl as Benimaru fell silent.

Eventually Brone popped his head out of the ground just in time to see the oni bearing his back to him for a brief moment. He took the opportunity and leaped out of the hole, striking the thigh of the demon with his increased strength from his wear lion form. The oni cried out in pain and annoyance before backhanding Brone to the wall.

Yuurei would look over to Kaito as it would seem like he had protected everybody who was about to get hit by the attack from the Oni. He would sigh with relief because that was good and quick thinking from Kaito. He was happy he was here, and he would just crack his neck as he was tired of this Oni. Still, since they were still able to keep fighting this would be good. He would look over to Revy as it would seem like she was ready to fight as she had asked Yuurei what he wanted her to do.

“You keep fighting Revy. I will protect you, so don’t worry about holding back.” He said to her.

He knew that Kaito was going through it right now, and he was going to make sure that this Oni would perish here and now. He would fly into the air as his Zabimaru would disappear and he would switch to his Yang Gauntlet. He was going to go all out right here and he was going to set things up for his friends. It was then he would see that the Oni had attacked Brone, but he had also seen an opportunity. He noticed the Dwarf had done harm to this monster, and he knew what to do.

He would rush straight toward the Oni. His flight was magnificent as he would appear in front of the Oni. He wasn’t going to allow him to continue to fight them and stress them out more than it had. They needed Renji to recover from his wounds and he needed Kaito to bring himself together. He would make sure to stop what he needed to do if Revy needed his help.

When he got to the Oni though, he would punch the creature right in the abdomen with his light Gauntlet. He had activated his destruction spell from this gauntlet, and Yuurei would do a lot of damage with that one hit. The Oni would feel this as he would flinch and if you looked closely his feet would be off the ground. He would hope that everyone took this opportunity to take this Oni out. Yuurei was hoping that everybody would give it their all and finish off the Oni before he had time to regain his composure.

“Keep attacking, let’s finish him off and get the hell out of this cave before he somehow stops us again.” He said as Brone had opened it up for them to finish him off.

The Oni would look at Yuurei as it didn’t expect so much power to come from that hit. Still, he was weak against light, and it would seem like this Starlight had massive strength behind all his attacks. He would cough out blood from his mouth as wondered how strong the world now today. If someone like him existed then that meant that things had evolved since he was trapped here.

Renji was healing nicely and he knew that soon he would be able to rejoin their fight and their climb through this mountain. He would get up to see what they were doing and if they were finished with the fight.

Kaito was still shaky on his feet but he kept pushing forward. Kaito had to help he had to do this, Kaito's cloak seemed to pulse with dark energy as he as propelled forward with his shield in hand and he hit the Oni as hard as he can and he seemed to leave a mark with that one it meant this guy was softened up and Revy Helped to weave some attacks in as well as she was able to do it with Kaito helping her as he kept the attacks from hitting her as she weaved in slashes and they backed up and out of the way as Brone and the others had stepped in and Kaito stumbled a little and he looks like he is in pain but he isn't actually hurt.

Revy helps Kaito stay standing as she is not sure what is even going on but she could see through him a little but it was like he was still slowly coming back and she is unsure what she can do to help him as she knows that it is just going to take time and he was going to probably need to tough it out. Kaito told her to get back in there and finish off the fight with them and he leans on his shield as he was sweating a bit. Revy ran back in swinging the sword and fighting along side them and Kaito wonders how much deeper that were all going to have to go into this place to be able to come out on the other side as she was not sure if this oni was a test or if it was just a lower boss to this place as he was here alone for the most past so it was strange to see it and to have to fight against it. He hopes that they score the killing blow and Kaito fires beams that the oni to make sure that it doesn't get any chances to heal or try to regain the strength they had beaten out of it.

Brone was imbedded into the cavern wall as he watch Yuurei, Kaito and Revy alternate with attacking the oni. As the giant demon was preoccupied, the lion-dwarf pulled himself free from the wall. Then he remembered that Gnicholas and Benimaru were behind him. One of this free hands reached back to feel around and to his relief, the gnome was hiding in the nape of his neck, "Don't think me so incompetent, I have ways of avoiding being crushed" Gnicholas said as he poked his head out of the white lion's mane that covered Brone's neck. Though he was very confident in his statement, it was actually the sentient white cloak Quic-Zo that protected him by moving him to the dwarf's neck.

"Beni?" Brone called to his spirit friend.

"I'm well, the cloak soften the blow" Benimaru's voice came from beneath the cloak, bringing further relief to the dwarf. The cloak was two-for-two with the save, impressing the three of them. Now they needed to focus on taking down the oni as quickly as possible. Gnicholas and Beni coordinated just as they practiced, by the gnome hopping onto the shield as it floated from beneath the cloak and away from the dwarf. This gave them a position to aim their attacks and also gave Brone a chance to go all out without worrying for the safety of the former two.

Yuurei then gave everyone a chance to strike as he hindered the oni by attacking him so fiercely the large demon was lifted off the ground, though not by a lot, it was enough to immobilize him for but a moment. Gnicholas summoned forth his darkness magic and condensed the gathering shadow into an arrow while Benimaru pointed his sword at the oni, focusing his own darkness magic. They then released their attacks as Brone rushed at full speed at the oni; the gnome launching an ebony arrow and Beni firing a purple beam of energy.

Benimaru's purple beam collided with the oni just as Kaito's reddish beam hit him as well; then the gnome's black arrow struck him in the chest. The oni, still having not hit the ground yet, wasn't able to avoid the attacks, not having anything to kick off of. His anger surged, knowing once he get's his footing again, he'll go on a rampage and destroy the range mages first before returning to the melee combat specialists.

Just as the oni managed to land his feet on the ground again, a war cry caught his attention. Brone had his golden axe in the air, activating an innate spell of the weapon which caused his strength to increase. The werelion bulked up further and his fur extended as if electricity surged through him. Without another word, Brone rushed forward at great speed. The oni, though was confident in himself, didn't want to take the chance of not being able to handle a frontal assault from this bulked up lion-dwarf, so he tried to sidestep out of the way, but Brone wasn't thrown off, but simply sidestepped with him, finding himself closing the distance without issue.

Within an instant, the golden axe and the green axe slammed into the oni and obliterating the magical armor he was trying to conjure to protect himself. Within the next few seconds, the large demon dissipated into smoke.

Brone breathed heavily as he shrunk, the white hair vanishing, his body returning back to that of a regular dwarf. The battle ended, and now they can continue forward.
