It was far too easy to say that this was getting far more…heavy than Da'ncha'see'i had thought possible. The dark clouds hanging over the regular citizen's health had been getting slowly better at a gradual pace. A cure was being cultivated, no, created. Through tests and the worth of the Talaz Lagaar scientists to make a ray of light for this possible breakthrough. Possible, in the way from what he was hearing, it was still in its base form. Slow active, semi good effects, and low in number. There was only now the question of how the medicine could be more effective, in its speed as well as ability to cure the disease.

Ahhhh. But the costs of this. From what Da'ncha'see'i heard it was partially at the fruit of experimenting on robots and machia. Gaining a further understanding of how their bodies resisted the virus and making a vaccine base from that.

As happy as that made the Fairy Tail mage. Elated even! The awareness of the need and actions to do so was still…a bitter taste in Da'ncha'see'i's mouth. For the Loyalist scientists, the robots and machia beings were no more than ragged tools causing issues for the wielder. Things, turning their noses up to their masters. He was not sure how the other mages from Fiore and the rest of the world felt about this, but for Da'ncha'see'i at least, he felt that they were living beings. Alive. They had consciousness; they were able to react to what happened around them. Physically yes. Able to defend themselves without being given orders like a pepper or summon. They could take orders and respond to the situation if it changed. However there was much more than that! He had heard it, seen it, witnessed and felt it first hand. These robots had a mind, feelings. Practically wouldn't that mean they had a soul?

For some it was no. The metal form a contrast to the flesh of the normal mortal races that walked the world. The contrast is a clear identification that they, the robots and machia, were not alive. They were interacting with the world but only in the realm of existing within it. Unlike the light and dark races that existed with it. Beyond that there was the matter of the mind. Just because robots had the ability to respond did not mean it was the same as a living mind responding. One was a programmed system following script creation to a live prompt. Ones and zeros. No real identity or individuality. A mind was not something that could be re corrected. A soul, was something that was given and made when entered into life the first time. A boom by the gods and powerful beings that made the world. Ultimately. What the robots were was only a failed imitation to their eyes.

Da'ncha'see'i hung his head low as he continued tohi ajout it all. All and all, the philosophical meaning of this is daunting to him. If one went through the process of feeling, thinking. And it was just different. How could it be denied? Robots had no need to eat or drink for sure, but that was not related to if they had a consciousness. Or a mind. It was a thing still done and felt. It was hard, impossible even for him to say no; you are not alive or able to have…developed a consciousness and mind.

A thing that made him feel a bit isolated from his other Fithian loyalists. He wanted to keep the diseases and the dangerous technology here. Safe and secure within its home's borders. But this, these actions in hope for good. Made him feel sick and…not like a hero at all.

That was why he threw himself head first into these types of tasks. Lending aid to people who did not care about relics, or who was in charge. But doctors and nurses, regular people. Who only had the aim of helping their kin.

With their effort and sacrifice. It was all possible when it came to working with the scientists. Cures had been tested and made; and now it was being cultivated and distributed to the medicine field. And it was a relief to him as he walked into one of the clinics he often helped at! The cure was getting its reputation up, eagerness and ease apparent on a higher level when he came in. Less hanging heads. Less tight muscles and the smell of dread.

It was working and with time, hopefully, it would be confirmed on the extent of its effect. He just hoped that anyone bedridden or on the edge of seeing sweet mother death would be able to make a turn for the best! He gripped his hand before fast walking to his volunteer shift. It could do it. They could do it. Time. Just, they all needed time.
