Hosenka City, what a sight to behold. Atani still could not get over it. The bars, gardens, theatres, temples, hot springs-- She couldn't believe she hadn't vacationed here before. The Joyan culture present was nothing short of beautiful. Atani didn't even feel as if she was in Fiore. The old Empyrean Divine guild had the right idea being stationed here. Despite the lovely qualities of the city, she was not there for rest and relaxation. Of course, she would gladly take some days off to visit the hot springs and such, but where there was a city, there was work. With so many businesses and tourist attractions, Atani was sure that there would be plenty of jobs to come her way. For the most part, she expected them to be small things here and there, like helping out with deliveries or filling in for a worker. Nothing she couldn't handle.

If she was lucky, she might be able to pick up a more difficult (and thus higher paying) one as well.

For now though, she would start out small. It was best to get herself acquainted with the town anyway before she dove headfirst into things she couldn't handle. Not that she wouldn't figure it out anyway, but it was best to just get her feet wet in this new area. A request put out by a lady named Granny Meirin caught her attention. She needed assistance watching over her new trainees at the hotels and resorts of Sultry Heights, one of the many places in Hosenka City Atani wanted to visit. The job seemed straightforward enough. For what it entailed, the pay seemed just about right. Thinking that the request wouldn't be much of a hassle at all, the elf decided to take it, and she promptly headed off to meet Granny Meirin.

Standing at the front of the hotel Atani was to report to was a tiny, old woman whose dark gray hair was done up in a Joyan style bun. "Hello, are you Ms. Meirin?" she asked the woman. "Oh, please, just call me Granny," her client replied. Atani gave Granny Meirin an apologetic smile. "Okay, Granny. I'm here for the request you put out?" The woman nodded her head and gestured for the elf to follow her inside. She led her to a lobby where several young girls were patiently waiting, all dressed in uniform. Atani suddenly felt very out of place.

Regardless of attire, she was to be their temporary manager. With Granny Meirin's departure, each employee introduced themselves to Atani one by one. She gave them an appreciative smile and instructed them to depart to each of their tasks. In all honesty, she wasn't sure what every single one of them were.

But she would shadow them just to make sure they wouldn't mess anything up. She didn't imagine they would do anything seriously wrong; most young employees seemed diligent these days. But if anyone was to slip up, that's why she was there.

For the most part, her assumption was correct. These young ladies were very capable. Only a few struggled with their tasks, though for the most part it wasn't anything grave. They just had to be a little neater, hone their technique so the hotel would be as presentable and welcoming as possible. It was nothing a little more experience would fix. Perhaps once she was gone, the more experienced girls could help out the ones that were struggling with their tasks. It seemed that in no time at all, Granny Meirin was back. She was happy to see that everything in the hotel was in order and that her girls had completed their tasks. With her reward in hand, Atani set out to find a place for the night.
