Description: Pact of the Dead God makes the user sacrifice their heart to form the pact. Once sacrificed, their heart stops beating and the user becomes a living dead. Since the user no longer needs their mortal coil to survive, they sort of become immortal as well. As each body finishes serving its purpose, the user can transfer their soul into a new recently deceased body.

Requirements:
  • The user must purchase this item from the Mysterious Merchant.

Effects


  • Dead Heart: Since the user sacrificed their heart to the Dead God, they no longer have a beating heart and pulse anymore. Though, they are able to function perfectly fine without the use of their heart. The dead energy they received from the Dead God allows them to keep the bodies they house in excellent shape without it actually being alive.

    • The user is no longer affected by the Hindered status.
    • The user may ignore a Vital Hit, however, upon doing it the effect enters a 3 post cooldown.
    • Whoever applies Life Steal to the user, suffers damage equal to the amount they stole rather than being healed.

  • Dead Touch: Upon touching a target with their bare hands, the user steals A-rank in Constitution. The user can only steal Constitution as long as they are missing some. Should the user miss 1x B-rank Constitution, they will only steal 1x B-rank Constitution from the target. This can only be done once per post.

  • Soul Transfer: The user survives through the existence of their soul inhabiting recently deceased corpses. As long as the user houses these bodies, they no longer deteriorate. Though, the bodies can't age anymore either. The user may switch bodies with a cooldown of 2 months. This must be done in a topic that is then linked in the Physique Potion topic to claim a new appearance. This may not be done to escape death in combat unless the other party agrees that it is allowed. The purpose of this effect is to freely change appearances.
