"I agree, they have a whole 'holier than thou' attitude. If they arent pretentious pricks, they're either scrawny geeks. Either way I am certain that they have the knowledge we seek" besides, who's to say that the vampires wouldnt have had the same problem as them. People hear legends, try to investigate it and go on an adventure and get stumped the moment they have to use their brain instead of their wits
The two would make their way towards the church. Decebal was more familiar with the west hence he has lead the two towards their destination. As they walked towards the place, Drakkon spoke up and asked what did he think was on that scroll "Hmmm" he pondered as he thought what could possibly be
"Maybe could be that. Although if its evil, why do you think vampires of all thing want it. Perhaps it is something that may empower that race in some way and benefit them in particular. Otherwise, I would see daemons or werewolves also going for it." as he spoke of it, he would stop and realized that they arrived at their destination. Since it was all in town, they didnt need to take a horse anywhere, it was more like a 10 minute walk. Or it felt like that to the daemon
The two would spot the church, a building that has 3 floors. And theres a forest to the east of it. The daemon raised his brow and wondered if thats where the cave was from before. Hmm, there may be a tie to this after all. And so he entered the church with the dragon slayer to find their translator. Upon their entrance, the daemon would see, the first floor served as the church. There werent that many people here at the moment, but he certainly drew attention to himself
"Do you think we should interrupt whatever illumin ceremony or such they are conducting?" he wasnt religious at all so he didnt know what humans liked. He didnt mind walking up to the priest and demanding assistance, but he wasnt sure should he be more discreet or direct
