Dan sighed as he stepped out of his car and quickly shut the door. He quickly reaches into his jacket to remove a piece of paper detailing his next quest in Dahlia City to remove a pack of nearby lycans that have been causing a lot of problems for the locals. As Dan looked around the nearby forest on the cities outskirts he noticed signs of large animals moving through the area. "Man this sucks I was having such a nice day now I have to deal with this." Dan lamented to himself as he walked to the passenger side of his care to remove Galantine and secure it to his hip as he watched the sun begin to fall over the horizon. Dan was hoping to get this done quickly so he could rest up a bit before heading back to magnolia in the morning to see his guild mates.

Dan did not have to wait for long as the smell of wet dog drifted into the air as low growls began to be heard coming from the woods. "Alright mutts let's dance under the pale moonlight shall we?" Dan said as he watched as a trio of large bipedal wolves slowly began to make their way out of the forest their yellow eyes filled with madness showing almost no human intelligence. Dan clicked his tongue against his teeth he has been hoping at least one would have been able to retain some intelligence so he could attempt to reason with them but sadly it seemed that he would have no such luck tonight. Dan watched as the trio finally entered into the moonlight enough to get a good look at them 'Hmm seems like two males and a female.' Dan thought as he took in the two larger beasts who's bodies seemed to be made for strength and the smaller one in the middle who's body seemed to be more streamlined and made for speed.

Dan watched as all three of the beasts slowly began edging forwards before the large one on the left jumped forwards towards Dan with decent speed Dan quickly begins by rubbing his shoes back and forth along the ground creating a pair of mixed yellow and purple spell circles 0.5-Meters in Diameter to appear below his feet causing his legs to be engulfed in black lightning using this speed boost Dan jumps to the left just as the large beast lands where he stood previously. Dan grips his fist creating a mixed yellow and purple spell circle 0.25-Meter in Diameter to appear on the fist causing the fist to become covered in black lightning. Not wanting to waste a chance Dan quickly jabs the creature in the throat causing it to howl in pain as it's throat constricted from both the force of the blow and the lightning now running through it's body.

Dan watches as the creature retches in discomfort as it's throat muscles spasm as the lightning continues to flow through the soft tissue. Dan quickly spins to the left as another creature lands where he previously stood, it's sharp claws digging deep into the dirt. Dan clicks his tongue in annoyance as the first beast finally stands back up as the lightning runs it's course though it does seem to keep a bigger distance then the other one. Dan knows he needs to end this as soon as possible takes a stance and stomps his foot creating a mixed yellow and purple spell circle that is 0.25-Meters in Diameter to appear below his foot causing said foot to be engulfed in black lightning. "Well is that all you've got you flea bitten, mange carrying puppy dogs." Dan taunts with a cocky grin as the beasts growl in anger and run towards Dan eyes filled with rage.

Dan watched as the closet wolf drew near before jumping up and releasing a spin kick with the lightning engulfed foot connecting with the beasts right eye. As the smell of burning fur engulfed the area as the creature bellowed in pain as the lightning ran through it's head. Dan did not have time to celebrate the hit as he was forced to jump backwards as the second wolf nearly tore into his face as it snapped at him. Dan quickly regained his footing and rushed forwards to send a elbow into the beasts solar plexus creating a mixed yellow and purple spell circle measuring 0.25-Meters in Diameter discharging black lightning into the creatures chest. Dan smiled in triumph as he watched both wolves twitch before feeling like he's forgot something. Dan feels his eyes widen as he hears growling behind him. 'oh yeah there was three of them wasn't there.'

Dan sighs as he slowly turned his head to see the third wolf a few feet behind him watching him closely as if studying him. 'This one seems almost intelligent.' Dan thinks to himself as the creature slowly approached before bursting forwards in an attempt to land a quick strike to Dan's arm seemingly to prevent Dan from using any more magic. Dan quickly reapplied his magic to his feet an dodged at the last moment allowing the creature to land near it's allies. Dan could feel a bit of fatigue setting in and decided to just end this now "You know I don't normally like to end my fights pike like this but honestly the three of you have earned my respect." Dan said as he reached towards his side and drew his sword the surrounding air heating up as flames burst from the blade as a searingly bright light appeared in the sky.

Dan could feel the heat coming off of his sword as he lifted it into the air. "I hope your next life is a peaceful one great beasts." Dan said before swinging it horizontally in front of him "GALANTINE" Dan declared as a giant flame burst from the sword enveloping the three bears in it's cleaning flame. Dan quickly sheathed his sword as the flames died down revealing nothing but ashes where the creatures once stood. Sighing with disappointment Dan quickly returned to his car and drove back into town in order to get some rest before turning in the mission in the morning. Dan watched as the sun began to rise as he drove through the town knowing that he still had to drive back to magnolia in a few hours to get his next quest and hopefully get to eat some of Judith's cooking before he departed again.
